While I am available to work with adolescents and adults of all ages, I specialize in working with families and anyone experiencing relationship difficulties. Drawing on my years of professional training and clinical work, as well as real world experience as a husband and father raising 2 boys and 2 girls of my own, I am honored to work with families who long for more meaningful relationships, peaceful homes, and to be fully engaged in life.

Business Owner

Mark has been working in the mental health and healthcare fields in Austin since 1999. While completing a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin, he had the opportunity to serve as a Visiting Teacher through AISD’s support services, providing counseling and support for children with emotional and behavioral issues. Following a year long internship on Seton Medical Center’s Med-​Surg floor, he accepted a clinical position at Seton Shoal Creek Hospital, the largest free-​standing private psychiatric hospital in Central Texas. Mark spent 7 years at Seton working with adolescents and adults of all ages. Beginning on the inpatient units, Mark also spent 3 years leading intensive outpatient groups, and then moved into management over inpatient and outpatient admissions. In addition to his work with Seton, Mark provided counseling services through the University of Texas Counseling and Mental Health Center.
