Dr Williamson did a fantastic job on my gum graft procedure. The staff is great and the event itself was uneventful, as it should be. Let’s be honest that gum grafts are not an ideal way to spend your day, but I can’t imagine it going any better than it did and the results were worth it.

I had no idea a gum graft could be so painless! And this was the kind where Dr. Williamson had to take a piece of the roof of my mouth to do it. The next day, I was back on the phones at work, and didn’t need to use any of the pain meds or numbing solution.
To top it off, everyone in the office, including the good doctor himself, are personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment if you need periodontal work done!

I just finished the process of an implant with Dr. Williamson and found the experience to be pain free and well done. I can’t say enough about Dr. Williamson and his staff: professional, firendly, helpful, and caring. I like many, am adverse to someone «poking around» in my mouth, but their handling of my procedure was exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr. Williamson and team.

I recently had a gum graft done by Dr. Williamson and his team. I was dreading the procedure but everything from the initial consultation to the final check-​up was very smooth. Dr. Williamson explained everything that would take place and then did just as he had explained. He listened to my questions and answered them thoroughly. The other team members were very kind and pleasant and I could tell they were each knowledgeable. The office is quite clean and orderly and each of my appointments was right on time. I would highly recommend Dr. Williamson and his staff.

Just got back from my appointment and he went above and beyond in my treatment. The procedure was pain-​free and staff/​assistance were great. Everything was so pain-​free that I was able to sit through a gum graft without any sedation, that’s how easy it was.
Can’t recommend highly enough. He clearly has his patients’ best-​interest at heart as he takes the time to explain everything to you, including the pros and cons, without any type of «pressure» that may come from other surgeons.

I was referred by Dr Worob to Dr Wililamson for a phrenectomy and a gum graft. Scheduling was easy with the front desk (Jill). I had a reminder call before each visit. During both visits he answered every question I had with professionalism and made sure I wasn’t confused. He even remembered small details like personal life aspect, volleyball team and etc. Sarah was professional, sweet, and very caring. She’s a great team member of the practice. Three days before I moved away from Austin, I had an emergency that landed me in Dr. Williamson’s office. (Turns out, when you break a tooth off at the gum line, you need an implant!) I had no idea what was in store for me, but Dr. Williamson and his staff made me feel comfortable, gave me all the information I needed to ease my anxiety, and even stayed late in the evening to fit in my surgery on an already full day that also happened to be a few days before Christmas. They could just as easily have sent me to a different doctor — there is a dental implant place on the same floor in the building — but I am so glad they didn’t, because my surgery went smoothly, my crown looks great, and I had no complications during healing. The front office staff, medical staff, and the Dr. himself are all extremely professional, friendly, and responsive. I have been in touch with them several times since my surgery, and I have always gotten 100% of my questions answered and my business taken care of. The office itself looks to have been remodeled recently and is very comfortable and stylish. I can’t say enough good things about this office and its staff. I am 100% satisfied and pleased with the care I received on what started out as a pretty traumatic day!

I have been a perio-​patient at this practice for many years. Through all those years I have had Lynn as my hygienist and Dr. Williamson as my periodontist. Lynn does a superb job, and has been very patient and thorough with all my cleanings and the couple of sessions of root-​planing and scaling. She is also very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Dr. Williamson is very knowledgeable and through as well and I had good results from the one round of gum surgery I needed years ago.

Dr. Williamson, Diane, Jill, Sarah, Lynn and Jarica are the absolute best! Dr. Williamson is a perfectionist in the best sense of the word. He is extremely knowledgeable and stay up to date with continued education. He explains all your possible options, every procedure thoroughly and draws very detailed pictures so you never leave with any confusion and can make the best educated decision in regards to a treatment plan. He is not only a wonderful doctor but you can tell he is also a great dad and person. He is trustworthy and amazing at what he does. Jill and Diane are so sweet and fun to talk to. They are also very knowledgeable with insurance issues and will work with you because they know it is tough and people have many things going on in their lives besides just teeth and gum issues. They are very sweet and caring. Lynn is hands down the best hygienist! She takes her take time to make sure she fully cleans every square millimeter of your mouth and gives you good tips so you can continue to keep your mouth in good health at home on your own. She is gentle and kind and so very sweet. Sarah and Jarica are so helpful and knowledgeable! Sarah can make you laugh and forget you were even at a dentist office. She is caring and will go out of her way to make sure you feel special. Some people go into a dentist or periodontist office feeling a little nervous. You won’t feel that way here. Everyone makes you feel at ease because you can tell everyone truly cares about you. They care about each other and it shows. The office is always very clean and smells very nice. Everyone gets along and it’s just a wonderful office atmosphere with a knowledgeable staff and very skilled doctor.

Dr. Williamson and his team are so wonderful! I was very anxious to have my gum tissue evaluated, but the office staff were all so nice and comforting. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Williamson and his attention to detail. He really took the time to evaluate everything, and took his time explaining to me what his recommendations would be for treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Williamson and his staff!

I was sent to Dr Williamson by my general dentist. At first I wasn’t thrilled about having to drive outside of my «local bubble». However, I am so happy to have found this office. My hygienist Lynn is awesome. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They care about their patients and follow up to make sure everything is going well. I highly recommend.

From the office staff who greet you, to Lynn who cleans your teeth, to Mike Williamson himself their only concern is for your comfort and health. I had the most unbelievable experience with Dr. Williamson. My crown fell out this morning and my dentist was away at a professional conference for 4 days. The office manager suggested that I call Dr. Williamson’s office to see if they would cement it in for me. I had no previous history with Dr. Williamson and he certainly had no obligation to help me. His office staff was so helpful. They found time the same day in their busy schedule to fit me in. Dr. Williamson was so friendly and professional. He carefully examined my implant and gum tissue and determined how to proceed. Not only did he take care of cementing my crown, but he refused to charge me! Additionally, he gave me a phone number to call over the weekend in case I had any problems with the crown while my dentist was gone. You can be sure that if I ever need to have any periodontal work done, I will be calling Dr. Williamson.

Dr. Williamson and his staff did a great job in treating me. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure and ensured that I understood everything. He followed up the surgery with a phone call. His staff was very knowledgeable and made everything comfortable.

I came to Dr. Williamson’s office under emergency circumstances. It was a holiday weekend and the day before my birthday. First of all, Dr. Williamson saw me in his office even though they were closed for the long weekend. He has such an excellent rapport with his staff that Jarica also came in and they were able to extract a broken front tooth, perform bone grafting, surgically place an implant and also a temporary front tooth. The very first word that comes to mind when I think of Dr. Mike is compassion. He truly cared for me from the moment I entered his office. I was distressed and embarrassed and he was able to ask Jarica to come in on a holiday weekend and assist in my surgery. The entire office is kind, prompt, and has attention to detail. I was a difficult case and Dr. Williamson saw me every week until I had healed to the guidelines he follows. I have been watched carefully and now feel more like myself again. I am more than fortunate to have Dr. Williamson as my Periodontist. I would bring my children to him if necessary and would highly recommend him to anyone.

So this is still fairly early, but my husband had a tooth extraction, implant, and gum graft this morning. Dr Williamson and his his nurses made him feel very comfortable and well informed about the surgery and recovery. During the surgery, he felt absolutely no pain, and they were gentle and thorough.
The office is very clean, and my husband was seen right at the scheduled time. The general anesthesia went well, and the tooth and gums look great.
Dr Williamson even called my husband himself that evening (around 8pm) to check on him and see if he had any questions or concerns. We would definetly recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery.

Dr. Williamson is the best. His attention to detail and personal service is incredible. My 19 year old son is attending college outside of Austin and it was determined by a specialist that he had ‘internal resorption’ on his two front teeth which meant his 2 front teeth had to be pulled and he had to get implants. My son is a social young adult where appearance is very important and we asked around for the best doctor to remove his teeth and install implants. We were given Dr. Williamson’s name over and over. After my son met Dr. Williamson he just knew he was in great hands — and he made my son feel very comfortable. The doctor was able to explain the procedure so my son was at ease. Dr. Williamson removed my son’s 2 teeth and placed the implants in one sitting. He was able to reuse my son’s original teeth as a temporary placement until we get the enamel teeth. You can’t even tell my son had any surgery; he aims for perfection. The office staff is fantastic and they worked around my son’s school schedule.

Professional and friendly! He explained exactly what the procedure and recovery would entail and answered all our questions. His staff is courteous and they’re great with kids. He even called after hours to check on how the patient fared. I would definitely recommend him to a friend needing surgery.
