This dog park offers nothing and requires you to pay a fee! They should be using that money to make the park better. Too many rocks and a little inconvenient for us. Will not be going back to this one or recommending it to anyone!

My favorite dog park in all of Austin because you can only get in with a key and in order to get a key, you have to prove your dog is up to date of vaccinations so I’m not as concerned about who my pups play with. It’s also one of the only parks with actual live, green grass.

I could not find this go park for the life of me! So frustrating! Does it exist?

Pros: It’s in a good location for me. It’s well maintained. The majority of the people/dogs I’ve encountered were very nice. Cons: It requires paying a fee and getting a key. It’s a little small. The ground is FAR too rocky. My dog has cut his foot twice on the many sharp, loose rocks. Overall, it’s OK. I take my dog there every now and then to chase a few frisbees, but if we want to spend a little more time and have more room to runs and swim, we head over to the Cedar Park Bark Park.

This is a great dog park and I was happy to pay the key fee. Also there are GREAT walking paths and kid parks … so make a good trip. Here’s the address: Millrun Park: 12100 Millwright Pkwy The next day I went to the other one: also nice but less shade in the summer. Still the same great walking paths as well! Old Stage Park: 12821 Hymeadow Dr(east side of 183) Here’s a link: And here’s a link to their facebook page: I only marked as «not good for kids» because this park is for DOGS. There is literally a fabulous park for kids that adjoins this gated area. Best of both worlds!

The gates were locked and REQUIRED A MEMBERSHIPAND A KEY to get in. Major bummer. I won’t name names, but a nice guy with his dog let me in. The park is medium-ishly large, with several enclosed areas for small dogs/training. It was empty(other than that gentleman), and clean. I understand the idea of having a membership to make sure no diseased dogs come in, but still pretty weak in my opinion. Either way, if you’re concerned about your dog’s health, I’d suggest you get yourself a membership here.

This is a nice little gem in the Anderson Mill neighborhood. It’s a clean space with a solid fence and a two-stage entrance(*). [Disclaimer] * To gain entry, you need a key(**) from the Anderson Mill Limited District located at(30.456008,-97.819519) or 11500 El Salido Pkwy Austin, TX78750. ** To obtain a key, you must provide documentation on up-to-date vaccinations for your furchild(ren). [End Disclaimer] In short, this is a great park if you live here and plan on utilizing it more than once or twice.

Great local off-leash dog park. No bells or whistles besides water bowls and potty bags, but everyone does their part to keep it clean and there is always a great mix of dogs and people here. If you live in the NW I highly recommend it.
