I find Dr. Munyon to be a very compassionate, decent gentleman who is a credit to his profession. His 2 assistants have always been kind to me and I have not had any problems there. He has helped me greatly and he is very much in demand. Overall, he is a great doctor to see.

Dr. Munyon is old. Which means he is also old school. He’s not afraid to use his RX pad like some docs, and he writes scrips per the needs of the patient not the insurance company. This is why he’s been my doctor for a long time. As for the previous review, his«assistants» are Judith(his wife) and Michelle(his daughter). Judith is indeed lovely, and Michelle is indeed difficult. Added bonus, the voices of mother and daughter are almost impossible to tell apart. Always figure out who you are speaking to and then you know how to approach better.

Dr. Munyon is a competent doctor, though I have had some concerns in recent visits when he asked the same questions over and over again repeatedly. I attributed this to advancing age(he’s 79). It’s going to happen to most of us, and this doesn’t seem to affect his ability as a physician. He has two office assistants who work on opposing days: Judith Munyon, who is a wonderful person — polite, compassionate, ready to research problems and resolve problems when they occur. The other assistant is Michelle Wise, and she is a *horror* to work with: deliberately antagonistic, off-putting, hostile, rigid, unwilling to work with patients to research or resolve billing errors, making assumptions about patients’ payments which are not based in reality and absolutely unwilling to discuss billing or appointment problems. It got to the point where I fired Dr. Munyon as my doctor rather than have to deal with Ms. Wise. Frankly, I think she has no business working with the public, and because of her I could not recommend Dr. Munyon.
