I was waiting at the counter for what seemed like 10 minutes, waiting to pay for my $ 150 worth of rocks. After 6 – 7 minutes of waiting a White lady was behind me shopping around with her kids. Finally a man with tattoos came up to the counter and asked if the White lady was ready to check out.
WTF?
Thankfully the lady pointed at me and told him that I was here first.
I guess minorities don’t matter here.
Word to employees, if you see an ambiguous line, don’t just go up to the first White person you see and ask to help them. You should ask, «May I help who is next?»

Super great selection of stones, incense, jewelry and gifts. I also like that you can have readings done with great people and bask in the intense energy. Take your time and let your intuition lead you while you’re here… you never know what you’ll find!

If this place wasn’t such a bitch to get to I’d be in here about once a week, fondling every GOTDAM stone, pebble and mystical gem I could get my grubby paws on. This place is nuts. I feel like a My Little Pony on crystal meth when I’m in here, and this pony’s got about ten dollars of disposable cash so BRING ON THE MOTHERFUCKING SPARKLE ROCKS, SLUTS!
Everything’s so beautifully displayed and reasonably priced it makes me want to puke. I bought a crystal that helps me puke. It’s purple and green and it comes from Saturn.
No, rocks aren’t magic, and neither is the middle-​aged man with the feather earrings giving life readings for $ 80 in the corner over there. In a previous life I may have been a sucker, but NOT ANYMORE, RAINBOW WINDCATCHER. This $ 80 is going straight to amethyst chunks, thank you very much.

Not that bad. I got some cool fossil specimens at this shop while on vacation in Austin, TX. They have an excellent selection and nice store. I don’t exactly see why people are saying the staff are terrible. Altough a bit slow and unorganized, they were still friendly and wrapped the delicate specimens I bought. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it is right off the highway (bad parking) and that some of the fossils specimens they sold may have been faked.

My son needed some rocks for his science fair project. RAC helped me out above and beyond. Thank you so much! This place definitely rocks.

Came here in the summer while visiting Austin after hearing about this place from a friend and was literally blown away upon entering. I was told from the lady at the counter that Nature’s treasures was the biggest crystal store in the nation. Coming from the east coast I don’t find that hard to believe. The store was filled from floor to celling w crystals and overflowed out the back door to the extra space in the back. Was greeted warmly by the employees and left to browse at ease. Employees were super friendly and helpful when approached. Nothing but good vibes, definitely worth a visit.

I Love this place! it’s my go to for shopping and gifts for my friends. So why the 4stars?
Well if I could it would be more like 4.5 stars.
Staff:
Only due to the sometimes inconsistent staff but dont get it twisted Ive never had them been rude or ugly just sometime neglectful intill check out. That being said the majority of the time They have been Super awesome. Checked in with me to see if i needed assistance but didnt hover. Just a quick“hi there do you need help with anything or have any questions?”.I needed help finding some items with a birthday and man they were spot on I just told them some of the things my friend likes and what she was into and they helped me find some awesome gifts for her. I have boughten some of the big figures and they always go the extra mile to make sure they are placed in their proper box and wraped up nicely and when they couldn’t find one they super wrapped and bagged up this mermaid fairy I got for my friend and not one but three staff members were super attentive and made sure she was wrapped and secure plus done up in a nice bag. They even wished her a very happy birthday. Btw she loved love loved the fairy.
Shop:
This shop is packed full of fun and great stuff that is always being added to. I go for wiccan jewelery, candles, incence, and beautifull statues. When you walk in you will always get very possitive energey from this cute shop. To the right there is the candles and great selcetion of incence, oil burners, and above are beautiful light catching car and window/​outside windchimes and figures. Mosey down a little further and there are a nice selection of smudge sticks and shells and above are some of the most beautiful real life butterflies, bats, and now they even have beatles. In the middle of all of this is the figures of Virgin mary, egypt, Vikings, Fairies galore, the Goddess, dragons, bears, animals, mermaids, angels, and so so much more. which also are scartered all around the store too. Still on the right side there is A small yet big area that has beaded and rock jewlery, stones, tailsmens, pendants, rings, bracelets, and musical instruments. On the left side of the store there are tons of stones crafted into figures and just plain nicely cut and shaped stones. Further down there is a nice meditaion area where there are a small yet good rack of altar or wall hanging clothes, little satchels, medicine bags, lighted lamps, singing bowls, chime bells, and CDs. on the opossite side of that its what i like to call the childrens section which has cute fossils, dinosaur stuff, stuffed animals, toys, shirts, and lots of cute things that any kid would love.
All in all there is alot of stuff I left out this is such a great shop and it’s definitely worth a visit!

I really hate that I am writing this but I feel it is important to do so.
My boyfriend and I visit Natures Treasure several times a month and continually buy items from them. I have also sat with a medium and had a wonderful experience. Each time I go into Natures Treasure I am always overwhelmed with such a special feeling inside my chest. This store is truly special. That being said what I experienced today sadly has turned my opinion on them the other way around. I purchased two sterling silver rings a few months ago, one was a beautiful abalone ring and the other was a amethyst. These two rings meant a lot to me. Recently the stones fell out and unfortunately I can not find either of the stones. I brought both of the rings to the store today hoping there was something that could be done. The girl I spoke with went to the back to speak to a manager, came back to say since you do not have receipt there is really nothing we can do. She also mentioned with wearing the rings regularly this could happen. I can understand this happening if the rings were about $ 10 a piece but these rings were close to $ 50 a piece and I had them for maybe 3 months. I also did not wear them all the time as I have other rings to choose from to wear. I completely understand that needing a receipt is necessary for situations like this. But with it being a few months ago, papers get thrown out. Call me crazy but I started to tear up once she told me there wasn’t much she can do. Its sad that so easily some places can accept your money quickly but once there is a problem with the item you purchased all they can say is sorry, no receipt. no help. If it wasn’t for needing a gift today I probably wouldn’t of purchased what I did. Unfortunately I will begin to take my business else where. This was the last place I’d imagine customer service being iffy but it has come to that in my situation.

My family has been going to Crystal Works for forever, but the last handful of times we have gone the staff has been weird and/​or snappy (and the last time we went they accused my parents of shoplifting) so we decided to check out some new places and went here. This place is *huge*! There is a statue holding a basket of free rocks by the door (the rock doesn’t seem to change, but that’s not a huge deal). They have a crazy, huge selection of rocks and they also have a nice section of singing bowls, incense, smudge sticks, knick-​knacks, and general hippie items.
It can be a challenge sometimes to get the attention of anyone at the counter, and they hand-​write all their receipts, but generally the staff is really nice. This is my go-​to shop for misc. hippie items now.

I came in for four particular stones… I thought it would be a quick in and out type of stop. Oh, it was not. I managed to become engrossed in all they had to share and offer. Very large, beautiful quartz and amethyst. Diamonds and rubies in the raw. Jewelry, sage, Palo Santo, candles, ever-​y-​thing.
I eventually asked for help on what I was looking for. The gentleman that helped was quick and showed me all of the different options. I got what I needed. Plus some. It was a wondrous experience. I can’t wait to come back for some more crystals.

Dreamiest place full of every type of stone imaginable! The place is really big& has pretty good prices. The staff was super helpful. Next time I’m in town I’ll defiantly come back!

I honestly don’t understand how anyone could give this place under 5 stars. maybe the cashiers are disorganized and the systems aren’t «up to date» but hell, ITS A CRYSTAL SHOP MAN! never have I seen so many gems under one roof. as soon as you walk in, your heart flutters at the sight of the big ass amethyst that glitters galore. most of the rocks are cheaper than online stores or shops on etsy. the sage you could get for cheaper but if you’re dying for your «zodiac sage», go ahead and get it. if you go out in the back, there are «raw» rocks, meaning not polished, treated, etc… you can also buy these at a real cheap price. I got a lovely rose quartz piece for only $ 3! this place actually has two buildings, so if you come here, you’ll be entrapped for at least an hour.

If you are into the metaphysical, you will enjoy this place. They focus heavily on that, probably because those into the metaphysical will gladly spend more money on minerals than they are worth.
I am an avid rock, fossil, and mineral collector. I have an extensive collection with pieces originating from all over the world, purchased in stores, online, and at shows. Basically, I have experience is what I’m trying to say.
This store has a very good selection of high-​end pieces, from fossils to crystals, to minerals. They are constantly bringing in new stock from around the world — though after reading and talking I learned that many of their pieces come from their trips to shows, not actually direct from the mines. Perhaps this explains…
The cost. Their prices are about 10% or so higher than the highest retail value these pieces are worth. I have bought pieces on sale for a reasonable-​average retail value price. I bought one very large piece at their retail price, even though it was too high, because I could buy it in person and not have to ship it — so it came out about even as far as cost here versus online+shipping. The benefit was I could see it in person and really check out the piece.
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have been several times, but have always received lukewarm-​at-​best responses and service. Once they found out I was spending thousands in the store, then I had 3 people wanting to help and be all chummy. I told them what I wanted wrapped and that I was going to continue shopping for a while before checking out. Here’s what annoyed me — they didn’t wrap the piece for travel WHILE I was shopping! I had to wait a further 20 minutes after checking out for them to do it!
Customer service gets 1 star.

I’ve literally driven past this place hundreds of times, but had never gone in until the other day.
This place has lots of rocks. I’m pretty sure you gathered that from the name, but they really do. There’s an outside area with big rocks, and inside area with fancy rocks, and an inside area with really fancy rocks.
I don’t have much to say about this place, except it has just about every kind of rock you could be looking for. They also have a nice assortment of fossils.

Definitely a treasure trove for those interested in rocks and fossils as well as mystic stuff if that’s your thing. Prices are a little high if you’re a serious rock and fossil collector, but they certainly have some outstanding specimens.

I have really missed Whole life Books. This place has few books but they have really nice treasures. Incense, jewelry, and amazing crystals. I need to go back on a weekend.
Make sure you have time to wander about. It will really take your breath away if you are a fan of pretty nature.

This place has cool rocks. I know — there is more to it than that. Some of you are probably balancing chakras and decreasing stress, awakening your inner eye — all with a chunk of celestial feldspar ;)
All joking aside, they do have some nice jewelry, stones/​gemstones. However, I think they could do with better customer service and new refund/​return policy.
My partner bought me a moonstone ring and within 6 weeks — the gemstone had come apart from the setting. When he visited to tell them, ring and receipt in hand — they basically said there was nothing they could help him with, not even resetting stone, as his 30 days were up. Okay, sell us something shoddy and then «stick to your rules» — no matter what? We took it as a warning to not come back, they don’t seem to value customer satisfaction over money.
Then, a girlfriend purchased an $ 80+ crystal lamp from them, took it home and within a few days — tried to return it. The lamp was costly, the light fixture was CRAP and had electrical wiring issues that caused it to turn on and off. Lastly, the crystal was getting black spots on it within just a day or two of using it. I was with my friend when she tried to return it. She explained that she had called in and talked to a manager as soon as she noticed the problems and they confirmed she could return it. The two employees that attempted to assist her where stern and not friendly, explaining that even though it wasn’t on the receipt, they had a «no refund» policy. They pointed out a tiny sign on the counter that could have easily been covered up at the time of her purchase. Then, a 3^rd employee rudely stated that she had been the employee my friend had talked to on the phone. That employee then asserted that my friend was lying and that she had not said on phone that she could return it, but that should could exchange it. My gal pal is the most honest person I know and the whole incident was just horrible to witness. Why would my friend want to exchange her product for another crappy product? At that point, she has lost faith in the product, and what the F is she going to do with $ 80 in store credit? Buy a basket of rocks? Um, no thanks.
I think they should burn some sage or clear some auras around there… along with using their brains for each scenario instead of hiding behind a hardline, money making «no refund» policy. Keep it up — this is how places eventually lose customers and shut down.

I stand by my previous review, but need to update that the owner allowed my friend to do a 50% credit/%50 refund situation, which made her a little happier. Personally, I won’t be going back, but was glad to hear they ended up being better than we originally thought.

My friend insisted I check this store out since I am very much into crystals and other types of stones. I was looking to buy a Buddha so I came here and it was like I was in heaven. I was so shocked at how many different stones they had in here. If you’re into stones and metaphysical stuff this place is the place for you. I will certainly be a regular! And yes I was able to find a Buddha along with some amazing other stones to add to my collection.
