Specialties
Martial Arts for Everyone! We specialize in inclusive class settings for students with special needs and disabilities. Classes are led by school owner and former Special Education teacher, Daniel Carroll. One World Karate is an academy style school that draws from the Arts of Bando, Tai-Chi, Tae-Kwon-do, Karate, and Jiu-Jitsu to instruct the students. We build physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and character.
History
Established in 2012.
One World Karate’s foundation was built during the owners days of teaching children grades 8 – 12 with special needs. As a special education teacher, he worked closely with physical, occupational, and behavioral therapists to develop a Martial Arts curriculum to teach his students. In 2012, he decided to commit to creating a Martial Arts school dedicating to providing superlative instruction to all students regardless of special needs or disabilities. Opening in May of 2012, the school enjoys small class sizes, reasonable rates, and strong word of mouth support.
