Choosing Becca with Paper Lantern Films was by far the best decision we made for our riverboat wedding in June. We knew that we didn’t want a long, drawn out, traditional wedding video — because really… Who wants to sit & watch that afterward? Boring.
We loved the vintage quality that the super 8 mm provides and chose to work with Becca after seeing a few of her amazing videos online. She is literally the *sweetest* gal, super easy to work with, quick to respond, and is über talented to boot! During the wedding Becca provided subtle directions and was very un-​obtrusive. Her super 8 mm camera is legit — the real deal. After Becca has finished editing and making the video, she sends you the original film reel in the most precious little box! Super 8 mm is not easy to work with and is a lot of work to process, edit, etc, so it is more expensive than traditional wedding videography… But trust me, sooooo worth it!
Becca is the total package and it definitely shows in her work. We are so in love with our wedding video! The 4 mins of footage definitely captured the essence of «Lee and Lindsay»! The song she picked for the video was so «us». We could not be happier with Becca and her work. Our photos are lovely, but this film is our favorite keepsake of our special day. Becca is amazing and will not disappoint!

Paper Lantern Films aka THE Becca Baughman was a dream to work with. She filmed our wedding video and it turned out amazing. My wedding planner (um…my mom) had two photographers, a videographer, in addition to Paper Lantern Films Super 8. To this day, of all the documentation, the Super 8 still wins!!! The moments Becca chose to capture were the ones no one else thinks of and that everyone ends up loving the most. Becca is efficient pre, during and post production and extremely easy to work with. My wedding was around 400 people and Becca was magically somehow still able to fit in all the good stuff before the sun went down. With a lot going on during this day, Becca’s direction and communication were consistently easy to follow and the majority of the time she’s just doing her thing and making you look fabulous on film while you’re not even paying attention. Lastly but not leastly — Becca will pair your film with the cutest song you’ve never heard but now are obsessed with and the final cut arrives in the mail in a perfectly packaged cute box with a sweet note. I could go on forever — but to sum it up — CHOOSING PAPER LANTERN FILM FOR YOUR EVENT IS THE BEST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE… EVER.

From the get go I was determined not to have a videographer because I thought it was cheesy. After talking to Becca about doing this non-​traditional format I started to get excited. And to put it mildly, the finished piece BLEW MY MIND!
The moments she catches, the angles she chooses, and the way she edits the scenes together is simply magical. Set to the Beth Orton song the video plays like a dream that I can not believe was my real life wedding day.
