Pawfessionals Dog Sitting & Walking

I initially appreciated my first pet sitter with this company (in Houston) even though she could be unreliable. I have two cats who are somewhat high maintenance due to medical issues, but a pet care company should be used to that and able to deal with that.
Fast forward 2 years to now and I am on my 3^rd pet nanny with the company. The Company never had the new sitters come meet me or my pets. I did not know about the new sitters until I received my receipt. The last sitter locked my cat up in a small room accidentally for 24 hours but I made the dumb decision to stay with the company (and received NO apology).
This weekend was the last straw. I am out of town and realized (thanks to my alarm) that the pet sitter had not come by all day. I called the company who assured me he had been by because he «checked in.» I paid them for 30 minutes and the guy stayed 8 minutes. Eventually it came out that the «sitter» misread my schedule and my cats were not fed for 26 hours which is NOT OK. Most animals eat at least twice a day!
The man on the phone from the company was exceptionally rude to me during this whole issue and did not care that my cats had not had any food in over a day. He had the audacity to tell me that as a cat owner I should not care about when my cats get fed despite the fact that my record specifically discusses their medical issues. I wish I could just leave food out for my cats on a long weekend but I can’t which is why I hire pet sitters!
This is a sorry excuse for a pet care company and I recommend that no one use this company given their ineptitude and poor customer service. I am now worried sick about my cats on what should have been a relaxing vacation despite paying a company to watch my cats.

I scheduled dog sitting service for Sat-​Mon and was actually out of town Wed with a friend watching them with plans to to drop them off at my house Friday night. I happened to check my email Friday morning and received the email that my service had been cancelled due the sitter «having to leave» for whatever reason. I never got a phone call, but an email with the HOPE that I would get the email. I called to talk to them and left a message, which was never returned. If i hadnt had a smart phone to get email I never would’ve known and my dogs couldve been left at my house without food and very little water for 3 days. Luckily, my friend (before she left town) was able take them to a dog boarders for the weekend. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY.

I scheduled dog walking and sitting with Pawfessionals. The paperwork itself took a long time, phone numbers, vet numbers, routines, habits. you get my drift. So, the initial visit– to meet the dog, look over my home, get keys. blah blah was scheduled for 10.30. It is now noon and no one has called or emailed to let me know no one was coming. I have left two messages and two emails. I had to call another company last minute to schedule another time. Took off work and everything to meet the UNPAWFESSIONALS. Anyway, I found a great company and will let you know how it goes. Hey, this is my baby (dog)…dont you be messin with her!
