Not just another«Mediterranean» restaurant. This place has way more than the standard hummus, tabouli, babaganouj… I had the chicken kabob over rice with spiced potatoes, red chili paste, eggplant medley. They topped it with tomato, onion & pickles and a nice sprinkling of sumac. It’s cafeteria style, but soooo fresh. You go down the line full of wonderful offerings and tell them what you want. They give you generous portions and all you can eat freshly-baked pita bread, which they will re-heat for you if you put some in a basket & bring it up to the counter. It’s a very warm, clean place with rustic, authentic, out of this world homemade«Mediterranean» deliciousness!

Amazing food and they offer a lot of choices. Very welcoming. It seems like a family owned business and everyone is very friendly. Been here a few times and haven’t been disappointed. Quality is very consistent.

I visited Austin for first time and wanted something to go. I end up going here due to great reviews. I ordered plate to go and baklava. When I opened box, everything was messed up due to poor packing and pita was missing and baklava does not have any nuts and way to soggy

Excellent food! Always consistent, big portions. If you are vegan this is a good place to visit. Try the falafel plate with smoked eggplant hummus, the eggplants with pepper and onions and the spiced potatoes with the best bread! Very recommended, quality and good prices. Great customer service! From a steady customer.

I come here at least once a week from south Austin, so it’s good 15 – 20 min drive and its worth it every time! It’s honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Austin! Great prices, the best pita bread + it’s free with your meal! Also, great for vegans and meat-eaters! My only complaint is not having a south Austin location… maybe soon!??

Middle Eastern food is a very large uncharted territory for my taste buds. A lengthy trip at the mall and a extremely rainy day brought us in 30 minutes prior to closing. Although this was our first time here, the concept is pretty simple. It’s cafeteria style; you choose a meat and 1, 2, or 3 sides. I was pretty hungry so I got two sides. I heard good things about their lamb shank, so I sacrificed that extra dollar. Turns out that was the best dollar I spent. Let’s just dive right in. This lamb shank was super tender. Just look at the photos. No knife needed; the meat is barely hanging on to that bone. The amount of fat is perfect as well. The flavors are rich and delicious, but not heavy at all. On the first couple bites, you get all the delicious gamey taste you expect from lamb, but then it just fades away, like a tease. I can’t see myself getting sick of this. Oh and that sauce that it’s cooked in. I can honestly just eat the rice with that sauce and I’ll be happy. Sides are great and the complimentary bread is pretty fluffy. Price is great for the quality, and the quantity left me super full! The service is really great and highly noteworthy. From the cashier to the busser, we got only the best treatment and really felt welcome here despite eating past their hours. You don’t find this kind of service in a lot of restaurants.

Omg just delicious. I can eat here everyday. The place is beyond amazing. If there was more stars I would double up. Falafel, Hummus, shawarma, kabobs, pita bread. Can’t get any better than what it is…

3 star on the restaurant and 5 for the bakery. The bakery is WOW! Best goods of its type that I have seen since Greek Town in Detroit or Tarpon Springs, Florida. Beautifully crafted and so tasty! Something new was an orange goat cheese thing. The goat cheese is not the kind we find in our salads. It is something else. THis thing is pleasantly tasty. Not to sweet. Just right. I will be back! The restaurant was so so. The people definitely rock! Very helpful with great service. The food was ok. I had the fish. Was told it was tilapia. I don’t think so. It was a bit bigger, wider, smellier and had taste. So it could not be tilspia or maybe it was old. The seasoning was mild. My husband had the lamb shank. We prefer lamb to be roasted than boiled or maybe baked? The sides are all a winner. Each and every one was delicious! So head here for veggies!

I had high expectations for this place. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t the fantastic place other Unilocal reviews had made it out to be. Everything is fresh. It’s just not… awesome. I want wow when I have Mediterranean. More lemon used than needed. This is like… Let’s see like Freddy’s burgers are to Wholly cow burgers… Just meh. Inexpensive. Lots of seating. Very clean lots of parking. That’s all I have

I’ve been dying to try this place, but I always seem to be in the wrong lane when I’m in the area. Fortunately, fiancé was driving by today and picked up to go. This was probably the best falafel I’ve ever had. Have I said that about another place before? I stand corrected and this is the best. It was flavorful, moist, and crunchy on the outside, and not dry like most falafel I come across. The hummus was smooth and tangy. The taboulhi was fresh and minty, just fantastic! I had a chickpea salad that was interesting, as I’m pretty sure it had pickles, but I didn’t hate it at all. The pita bread was big, soft, and chewy. I loved everything, especially the coconut macaroon. I know I ate too much to as I was uncomfortable all afternoon, but it was worth it! I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely love this place. Great food for cheap and I’m fairly certain its family-run. Pro tip: my boyfriend and I get the kebab combo and share it and it’s the perfect amount of food for two people.

This place has three things that you can’t find in most places. — low price: the beef Shwarma plate was less than $ 10 and could feed two adults. It was packed with sides and was filling for both people. — delicious! The food is actually really good. Their hummus is super creamy and the food is fresh. Almost nothing on their menu is flavorless. Can’t go wrong with the potatoes! — portion size: similar to my first point, if you’re a super hungry dude who can eat two chipotle burritos, then you’ll definitely be content with the plate here. Honorable mention: unlimited pita with your meal. I would say pack your sides with non-carbs so that you can load up on the pita :) Yay so good

Everything here is stellar!(Except for a pizza I had to order for a kid… Not worth the price) The meat is super juicy, and the tabouli and hummus are equally enjoyable. Order the half plate for $ 8.99 and you’ll still get a huge portion with meat, two sides and unlimited pita bread. I had left overs at the end of my meal. Great for large groups and cafeteria style ordering!

This place is very clean, and their food is amazingly fresh. And the best part is that their prices are very affordable! Yesterday evening, my husband and I took his parents for dinner their, and excluding desserts, our check was less than $ 30.00. For this quality of food, I would say that is MORE than worth it! The Lamb Shank is a MUST-TRY! Their hummus is fresh. Their vegetarian egg-plant mussaka was delicious! If you want dessert, they have is AAH-MAZING Filo-dough and Coconut baked dessert that is the best thing we have ever tried there. Of course we will be going back there!!!

Great place for good Arab food. We shared a 2 meat plate(lamb and chicken) with baklava. The meat was a little cold and dry. But the babagaboush and pita were amazing.

Such a great place for cheap eats. It’s cafeteria style, so you get to see what you’re getting and the line moves quickly. The service is friendly and very helpful. I tried the Beef Shawarma & it was pretty good. The Tzatziki sauce on the side was heavenly. The pita was meh, but the Baba Ghanoush & Hummus were delicious. I wish I could’ve tried the Lamb Shank, but they were sold out when we got there. I’ll definitely be going back.

This place is very authentic, once you walking you’ll get the freshest Mediterranean food that you can dream of. I would definitely recommend the fresh pita bread and ask the people behind the counter for what’s cooked fresh for the day. This is definitely like being in food heaven.

This place exists beyond the hype it’s been getting. The pictures, the praise, the drool. Believe every word of it. It’s a cafeteria style place so it moves fast. The service is friendly and more than helpful. The portions could feed a pack of lions. The price is more than apt for what you get. I got the two veggie + 1 protein plate. I was proud of myself for finishing the entire thing. About the time we got to the car though, I hated myself for finishing the entire serving. I felt as bloated and fat as pregnant orca. I managed to try the«normal» salad, the baba ghanoush, some nameless nut mixutre(by far the best thing), and tabouli with a side of lamb shank. This is the best baba ghanoush I have ever had, hands down. The nameless mixture was the highlight of my meal. I grabbed some pita and practically vaccuumed it off my plate. The lamb shank is quality and not too gamy. Falls off the bone like it was making money off a pole. I can’t wait until my next visit when I save space for dessert.

I originally stumbled across this place after my first trip to Snow Monster, a few doors down. We were initially attracted to the bakery, but were intrigued by the deli side. I thought, «Damn it… no more carbs for me today». Of course, I have to come back when I don’t give a foofoo about what I’m eating. So, a week goes by. My friend suggests this place. Yup. I’ll go. So… I’m at the ordering spot and inquire about the cheesy covered pita thingie(he calls it a pizza). Without really answering my question he says, «I’m going to heat it up for you, you’re going to sit right there and I’m going to watch you eat it. You will love it». My friend laughs. I’m not usually one to be told what to do or what I’m going to like, but I seriously couldn’t argue with this guy and meekly replied, «ok». We also ordered a plate of baba ganoush, red pepper, & hummus. My friend ordered some beef wrap thingie & liked it. The dips were incredible as was the cheese covered pita delight. The guy also brought us warm pitas and a couple of cookies from the bakery. Very nice. This place is great. There are so many vegetarian options, one would never get bored. I know I’ll be back, and often. Honestly, it was the best hummus I’ve ever had. And I was looking forward to it all day. It did not disappoint.
