Best Tattoo place in Austin! Professional and straight up honesty no Bullsh*+. Thom did my tat well actually I went to Atomic and was disappointed and Thom made it better. Great place and so glad my friend recommended.

I just had my first tattoo at Pigment. First want to say that I had tried to contact a competitor right down the road from Pigment. After the competitor messaging me and telling me that I needed to EMail them for questions, and after EMailing them 3 times without a response I am very happy to say that I had a consultation here yesterday. I first met with Jeremy. He was expecting me when I walked in. Discussed some basics and he then introduced me to Tanner. I just got my first and only tattoo and am so very glad that these people were happy to take my business. I have had a pretty sad year so far and after much thought decided that a small Boston Terrier tattoo might be helpful for my grieving process. I will be 62 on Friday and thought this might be a great birthday, Mothers Day and Nurses Day gift. It was painful, I salute those of you that don’t seem to have pain with this. HOWEVER, I am so happy that I did it. I could not be happier. This tattoo is of the first Boston that my husband and daughter and I had. Her name is Rosie. She led us us to our addiction for Boston’s. The first of four. Tanner was so patient, friendly and kind to this old lady. He really did such a good job and I so appreciate him. Everyone in the shop was positive and tried to make me feel better about being such a wimp. If I ever thought about getting another tattoo, this is where I would go and I would certainly recommend to anyone. Very glad that the other guys didn’t seem to care about my business because these guys did! Thank you all for being sweet to me. Love my tattoo!

I was one of the first ones to get laser, and saxon did a great job, after 2 times it was faded enough to get my cover up. i will say it was wourth the pain, the staff there are very kool and when I fierst walked in there was someone there to greet me. Thomas page is working on my cover up and I will say he is one of the best tattoo artist in Austin tx

So we all have one of those stupid tattoos that we get when we’re young (like 16 in a garage tattoo… Yeah, that happened) anyways, I just figured I’d get a cover up, because honestly I was terrified at the idea of laser. I had this perception in my head that it was going to hurt, be super expensive and might not get my tattoo off all the way. But, I agreed to meet with Saxon even though I was pretty sure I was just going to get a cover up. However he convinced me otherwise. He spoke with me for about a half hour, and we discussed the technology, how it worked, what it would feel like, possible outcomes, my fears, my misconceptions etc. He never once rushed me or acted like any of my questions were stupid or my fears irrational, he treated me with complete respect and by the end of our talk I went from terrified to completely comfortable and we got it started that day. He showed me how it felt, and it maybe took all of 5 minutes. He gave me care instructions with his number, as well as letting me know if anything was wrong to call him. I didn’t hurt as bad as I thought (and I’m kinda a hypochondriac) & I followed his care instructions and had absolutely no issues healing. Saxon went above and beyond, as I feel all of those guys do to make sure I was happy and comfortable. I honestly can’t recommend these guys enough, I’ve been going to Pigment for years, and been tattooed by Tim and TJ but I would trust any one of them and I refuse to go anywhere else. Whether you want to remove a tattoo or get a new one GO TO PIGMENT, I promise you wont be disappointed, and if you are, let them know, the owner Jeremy is very involved and will address and issues or concerns. There are a million tattoo shops in Austin/​Cedar Park but there is a reason I’ve been going here for years, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. :) thanks guys!

Got a tattoo done by Thom Rein, and I absolutely love it! It is the 2^nd by him, and I do plan on more… :-)
I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent and getting to know everybody there. they are super nice and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and not in too much pain. I enjoyed getting to see the others at work and see what everyone was getting done.
Pigment is definitely the cleanest, nicest shop I’ve been in, and the artists are so friendly. Mondo, the manager, is funny and a blast to chat with. Jeremy, the owner, is a lot of fun and so full of professionalism and confidence. I am super excited to go back for more work. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. Keep up the awesome art!

I didn’t see too many reviews for the Laser Tattoo Removal Service, so I decided to chime in with one more for the Laser Tattoo Removal Service.
Years ago, I got a spur of the moment tattoo on my inner right forearm. I hated it almost immediately. Within a couple of years (about five years ago), I went and bit the bullet, started tattoo removal, and had about four sessions. It blistered horribly, and by the end of four sessions, half of the tattoo was still there in splotches, and where ink was gone, I had ugly raised scarring from the treatments. I was so unhappy, I stopped, and spent the next five years covering what looked like a bad scar from a fight with an ink depositing tennis ball that hit me at 200 mph with long sleeves.
Recently decided to try one more time. Chose Pigment because the place was just nice — had a great feel, was clean, was neat. Looked like a business that takes what it does seriously. Met Saxon, talked about the removal process and the damage to my skin, he quoted me a price per session (pricing was competitive), and off we went.
I’m a wuss of the highest caliber, and yes, it hurts — Saxon is really patient, made sure I was ok, paused when I needed (and didn’t even roll his eyes, like, once!), but also made sure he got everywhere. The aftercare instructions were very detailed, and the first session went well.
But holy moley, I was stunned at the results. When there was very little frosting and no blistering and healing was *so* easy, I got concerned that «nothing happened», but that was not the case. An enormous amount of ink poofed away over time, and much to my absolute stunned delight, an enormous amount of the raised scar tissue had smoothed out. Having had a bad treatment previously, the fact that Saxon was skilled and great at this was obvious in the results.
Just had the second session, and I’m still just as impressed and felt the need to talk these folks up.
If you are looking to get a tattoo lightened or removed, this is the place to go. I’d tell you what other place did the removal that massively screwed up my arm, but then I would just narrow your choices. You really have one choice — just go here. These guys are great, and the results far exceed what I expected.

Found this one of a kind tat/​removal studio right here on Trusty Unilocal.I was in the market for some removals and didn’t want to venture down in to Austin too much. Reviews were awesome and after doing my own research and looking at before and after pictures of tattoo removals I gave Saxton (the removal guy) a call. He scheduled me for a free consul immediately. Came in, got pricing. Clean studio. Saxton was very professional and knowledgable about the skin and lasers. I am a medical esthetician and know a thing or two myself. I didn’t disclose that up front and he was spot on. I did let him in on my profession on the second visit. I wanted to get in on the sunscreen talk that we both agree on and my skin talk exploded and got the best of me. Bottom line. He knows his stuff.
Came in for my second visit and I had gotten a bit too much son while island hoppin in Hawaii over Christmas and instead of taking my cash and damaging my skin/​results or instead of just charging me and doing a super light treatment he kindly explained to me that he would like to wait a couple weeks before the next session. Mush respect. I will be back to visit him in a few weeks.

My college kid came home from college and spent a couple weeks in Maui with us and apparently the tattooed Polynesian fire dancers got the best of him and he decided to get tatted when we returned to the Lone Star State. So needless to say, I chose the same clean shop that I have come to know. Always busy, good sign. Always greeted with a smile and a hello by the artists even though they have come to know that I’m not there for them. I want the ink off.
Researched the artists and chose Jeremy, shop owner, former military, been on Ink Masters… Called and spoke with Mondo the manager. He said to come in and get a consultation. Came in with the kiddo, Jeremy was busy and my son started chatting with Davi, an artist hangin at the front desk… His pricing was a little less than Jeremy’s and the kid does go to a private university $$$ so decided to give Davi a try. Put down $ 100 deposit and scheduled for a few days later. There was a bit of miscommunication between emails and calls between my son and Davi and being the financial part in this I tagged along to the appt. wasn’t happy to find out that there was nothing prepared and my son didn’t get in a chair and get worked on. Was there for over an hour trying to seal the deal and get on with things. Ended up asking for my money back. Was told no. Well then. Told the kid to reschedule and get a damn plan and make this happen or he will be doing yard work and payin mommy back.
I contacted the owner and let him know my frustrations… We were just not clickin with Davi and getting good customer service.
I did not want to come on here and write a negative review and contaminate a well run successful business. The owner Jeremy responded immediately. Did not blow me off or try to make excuses… He explained to me that Davi was having an off day and to give him another chance. This 5 star review is for Saxton and the owner Jeremy. Davi didn’t earn that much love from me unfortunately. Married to a Colonel in the military I have high standards of customer service, communication and respect.
The situation was handled immediately by the manager and the tattoo appt happened last night and my son is very happy with the job Davi did. Davi was super cool during the 2 hour appt and I am glad we have him a second chance. Everyone has an off day or 2. I just realized that my lifestyle and the lifestyle of an artist are night and day.
The tat was a little pricey for no drawing just words… It was double the price of what I was expecting. On my paperwork it quoted $ 140 an hour and the job was 1 hour and 40 mins… After $ 100 deposit I was prepared to shell out another $ 180 plus tip. $ 350 Apparently the hourly rates do not apply exactly as stated for Davi and the price/​quote is subject to change due to the cranky tag along Mom… Son is happy. I liked seeing him lay down in pain for 2 hours getting tortured by the tat gun… Worth every overcharged penny… I definitely recommend this shop for tats and especially removal jobs from Saxton.
Just be clear up front and throughout the process so you don’t get surprised at the end.
Bottom line… Do your research, get pricing in advance and keep in mind that the $ 100 is not refundable.

I can not say enough great things about this place. I was completely wowed from the moment I set the appointment till I was finished and walking out the door. Professional customer service, immaculate spaces, very talented artist. I will always return there for any additional art as well as refer anyone I know to them. David did great artwork.

Amazing and humble artist. Their art work speaks for itself. Their shop is different from your «typical» tattoo shop. They really set the bar for customer service in the tattoo industry. I drove all the way from Houston to get some work from Jeremey and the drive was worth it. There are a lot of great artist in Houston but I will definitely be coming here for now on to finish the rest of my tattoos!

I cannot say enough good about pigment and their crew of highly qualified artists. This place is extremely clean and minimalist keeping you focused on the art at hand. It has a convenient waitng area for both tattoo and tattoo removal clients. You will need to book your appointment in advance (this is normal for any respectable tattoo shop and for custom tattoos) take this is a plus put done your deposit and get excited bc when you return your artist will be about to custom Ink your body something which will be done beautifully and last for ever.
If you need removal from another places mistakes… read another one of my posts for that story) come here I cannot emphasize this enoogh! They’re doctors on staff are fast gentile and use the most up to date pico laser. And if u ice an hour before. It is not nearly as bad as people say it is. I was going to lighten and cover up but now I think I’m just going full removal

I recently moved to Austin, and had been looking to finally get an idea for a tattoo inked down. I’ve gotten my fair share of lousy tattoos over the years, and have learned to spend the time to research the studio and the artists. I liked what I initially found on the Pigment website and submitted for a consultation. Jeremy Miller called about the consultation about a minute after hitting the submit button.
I met with Jeremy after work, and brought a rough idea of what I was wanting. Jeremy’s artwork and portfolio speaks for itself. But that was only part of what sold me. What really sold me was he not only went into what he liked about my idea, but also was straightforward on what he didn’t like. He was enthusiastic about how he envisioned it, and we booked the appointment. About three weeks later, I arrived and he shared his line-​drawing of the idea, and it was spot on. The piece was a leg piece roughly running from bottom of knee-​cap to ankle. He used a good bit of crimson red, a color I have had trouble with holding in the past. It scabbed hard like the red usually does on me, but did not fade one bit or splotch up like the color has done to me before. The whole piece healed nicely, and actually seems a bit brighter than on tattoo day. I will be back many more times.

I keep coming back. Best artwork and color in tattoos I have seen. Working on a sock with Thomas now. I’ll post a picture when we are done

1– The shop — It is hands down the nicest tattoo shop in Austin. Clean and tidy. No loud heavy metal music blaring, usually have a movie playing or pretty good music — nothing painful to the ears
2– Artist — ALL OF them are fantastically nice. They are just genuinely nice guys– who do not lack a sense of humor — you can tell they are all friends in there. It’s nice

Jeremy Miller is a genius and his work — amazing.
I had a poorly done, extremely intricate and detailed shin guard tattooed about 8 years ago with poorly drawn lines, incomplete lines and a ugly green color — Jeremy made the tattoo look brand new and not a messed up piece of art– darkened it to make it pop and made it make much more sense —
Also, I just had a new school octopus done on my shoulder, back and partial chest — I couldn’t be happier. You can see it on his instagram @jeremymiller. I won’t be going anywhere else for a tattoo. pure and simple

Incredible experience at this shop. The environment is friendly and they are all very professional and talented. I would trust everyone here with permanently marking my skin. I went in and got a lantern and moth tattoo by David who is new to Pigment, but is amazing. The tattoo was based off a drawing that he perfected. The tattoo turned out absolutely perfect. Couldn’t be any happier and I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Great shop, great artists, great work.
This is not 6^th street. You won’t be able to walk in and pick something off the wall. It is all custom. You might be able to get a walk in appointment but I doubt it.

I went to Pigment a couple weeks back and I’m happy with my tattoo except a few spots are a little messed up. It was my first tattoo and I’m not very educated on pricing but now I am and I feel like my tattoo was completely over priced for what I got. I know they do some sick tattoos and I know they’re all very talented but now that I know pricing and quality I’m bummed.

By far best work and service around! I heard about this place thru many people! I have just now gotten my 2^nd piece done here and couldn’t be happier! All of the artists at Pigment are fantastic and friendly. Jeremy, the owner, works fast and is worth every penny. My tattoo still looks as good and bright as it did the day I got it. I would recommend anybody that is looking for new school work to go to Jeremy!
This shop is one of the coolest, cleanest tattoo shops I’ve ever been in. The way they have it set up is unique. It’s modern, organized, with no clutter. This may not be the most important thing ever, but it’s definitely a plus to have those aesthetic things, too!
