The absolute BEST place to go for video games! Every time I go they have exactly what I’m looking for regardless of whether it is vintage or a current system. The sales staff is incredibly helpful and informative, they helped me make decisions between games and even showed me trailers for upcoming titles. Great products with great customer service at prices that aren’t gonna break the bank! Play N Trade is my favorite!

Love this place! Wide selection of old or gently used games. As with any previously owned game, you run the risk of malfunctions, but with such friendly and knowledgable staff I have a hard time believing they are difficult about returns. Prices vary but I find them to be very fair. My only complaint is that although I had a wish list on their system and had called multiple times about a specific game, I walked into the store the other day to find it on the shelf. I was glad I was able to snatch it before anyone else did! I come for the game boy & play station games and my boyfriend is hardly ever disappointed in their selection of sega & snes games. If you have been on a quest for nostalgia, give play n trade a try!

Great place. Wide selection, all game systems seemed to be represented with other knick knacks for the game enthusiast. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Went to sell my old games and the staff were very fair in their offer. As nostalgic pains gripped my heart to not sell my super nintendo, the reasoning part of my brain took over. «Foo you haven’t played in 10 years, let some kid or old school gamer have a field day with these. It’s good karma: D » So I said adieu to Mario, DK, and Link among others. For a good price too! More dough to cover my moving expenses to Seattle. Cya Austin.

Scratched Madden 13 disc — WAH! New in town — WAH! Thank Gawd for the internet! This place is kinda on my way home, and the only place the offered up front to clean my disc so away we go… I get there Tuesday evening to find the place busy, why you ask? — Folks are getting their game ON! — More than enough staff — Really friendly regulars I walked in the place and thought I was Norm from Cheers — at least 4 people spoke(one was a regular customer!). Talk about making a man feel welcome… This place carries every make/model of gaming system(with cartridges to match)! I was a kid in a candy store. I turned in my disc and while I waited, one of the employees gave me a tour of the store, explaining everything… like: — in store tournaments — game rentals(new or used) — air soft(forgot what that one was) — try a game before you buy(any game) I went in to get a disc cleaned and almost brought a couple of games(they didnt have them though… bummer). My only complaint — 6.50 for a disc cleaning/repair is WAY overpriced(and worthy of one star removal), but considering the other factoids, I will be back. Thanks Play and Trade!

Can I just tell you how great this store is? I was calling around looking for a specific game for my 10 year old, complete clueless mom. They explained everything to me, managed to get the game for me, and saved me a ton of money in the process! We will only be shopping here from now on.

Tucked over by Terra Toys and the new Hopdoddy’s, mostly blocked by ongoing construction to the shopping strip, and dwarfed across the way by the infamous WalMart, this is a frickin’ GEM of a store. We noticed them because they had a HUGE inflatable Mario wiggling in the wind. SCOTT(the owner?) has consistently helped my son get the BEST deal for his games and equipment. PLUS they have a space in the back for online gaming(&BYOB antics late at night from what I hear… ask SCOTT more), PLUS they have an AIR-SOFT area(WHAH?!! Trade in games for gun stuff?! YES for the responsible child who keeps grades & morals up) where he can drool over all the equipment as well as answer the age-old question, «How much DO clothes(and gear) cost in the Matrix?», and finally… they include all those intangibles in their EXTREMELY fair assessment of what they’re paying for(clean CD’s with cases, well kept equipment, etc.). Amazing how such a small store can so easily burst your ADD nut. Selling games is about as rewarding of an endeavor as selling textbooks. or getting a rectal exam. Typically we all know we’re going to get shafted. It means the WORLD to this single mom to know that her kid is getting a fair price, from a straight-shooter, so that he gets the most bang for his gaming bucks. I’m happy to be the first to review THIS location of PlayNTrade, because they’re the exception to the rule.
