Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken & Biscuits

what a rip off; a pc of fish for $ 2 was maybe 2×2 inches; butterfly shrimp in the commercial on TV are very large; NOT! very, very, very small; a # of people I know said they won’t eat there anymore due to it being a rip; one person said never order anything but their chicken; and on their Tues. special they save the smallest pcs of chicken to use on Tuesday; called in a complaint to their main office & now 2 wks later the area supervisor has never called me; folks, stay away from Popeyes; fall advertisement with their TV ads;

You know. I love Popeye’s Chicken. Its easily my favorite chain chicken and better than most fancy chicken restaurants. You would think it would be easy for them to get a four star review from me. You could also think the employees at this Popeye’s would be at least competent enough to throw some chicken and biscuits in a box you would of course be wrong.
The day before I went here I ate at Gus’s fried chicken. I though it was good but I needed to compare it to Popeye’s and it had been too long since I had Popeye’s. So I went for lunch. should have been a simple in and out. I was in the drive through for an eternity. seriously it was at least a 30 – 40 minute wait to get chicken. I assumed it would be fresh since I had to wait so long. I finally got my chicken which cost way more than I remembered.
I got back to work opened my box to find a completely destroyed biscuit. The chicken was soggy and cold I only work 10 minutes from this Popeye’s so there was no reason my chicken should have cooled this much. It had to have been cooked hours before I ate it. I got the spicy chicken only it didn’t taste spicy.
Popeyes has always been my go to chicken place and I hate to fault the whole chain for what seems to be a trend with this particular location. Shame on the management for allowing this to happen, its a black mark on the whole franchise.

The employees are catty and disrespectful. At least the Popeye’s customer service department was professional, but we’ve lost our appetite and can’t return our food over the phone. Nothing will get us back in the door; so long, the corner of mild and spicy.

After having given up on another local Popeyes location, it took us a while to ease ourselves back in. Also, since we’re on a health kick, we’re very particular with our times of indulgences. Since this location was fairly close to our house, we decided to give it a try through the drive through.
Ordering was easy and they mentioned the spicy flavor would take an extra 5 minutes or so. We were willing to wait. The gentleman at the window was very nice, I thought. He asked us to pull around and wait.
About 3 minutes later, he came out with food in hand and asked us to check to make sure we had everything. I mean, wow. We’ve driven away from other Popeyes missing a biscuit or with absent gravy, or worse– mashed potatoes instead of red beans and rice. That was not the case here, as he waited for us to check both boxes to make sure all was accounted for– and it was.
So I thought I’d throw this out into my Unilocal-​pile since the customer service kind of blew us away. That, and a complete order in a timely fashion– which we always had issues with at another Popeyes in the area– really made this our new «Go To» Popeyes.
Oh and of course it was yummy. Heck, it’s Popeyes.

Let’s say I am not coming back to you.
You as fast food join has punch me in the eyes so many times and I have let you do it & as addict I keep coming back. I have a enough of you. I am not sure when you will fix you habits of serving your order late to people who appreciate you. You bribe me with a free meal to make me happy of the issue that happen last time. It’s sad you, lost a good customer, I will never look back because I found another one who will give my chicken fix from now. I hope mother heard about this & find out this review since I never call her to complain even thought she give out the 1 – 800 number out. until then have a good life.
