Meet the Business Owner

Jeff G.

Business Owner

Jeff Gotte, M. Ed., BESS, NSCA-CSCS

I attended Texas State University to play football and work on a Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a major in Health and Fitness Management and a minor in Business. Once I obtained my Undergraduate degree, I accepted a graduate assistant position with the university to teach and coach, well as work with the strength and conditioning program where I work with both men’s and women’s sports. I also taught five courses a semester for the Health and Human Performance Department all while earning my Masters in Education with a major in Physical Education/Sports management. In 2009 I decided to develop and deploy the steadypace technique in order to deliver safe and progressive results to no just the athlete, and thus opened Practical Fitness. I am also certified as a Strength and Conditioning coach through the internationally known NSCA.
