Only emailed today that PMC Austin shut its doors. The service was erratic and the package was a rip off. Expensive Blood work was messed up and I had to re-draw multiple times. Getting appointments was difficult at best. Now, I have lost the balance of my over-priced promised package. This is a scam and for medical providers in this market, they should be ashamed to be in business at all. I will be sure to escalate this wherever possible to obtain a refund at minimum of my balance.

This clinic closed in Jan 2016 without any notice to its patients. I was being seen by Dr. Nisha Khanna and nutritionist Kylie Bentley. I had thought i had found a practice that cares about their patients through an integrative approach. My first visit cost me thousands of dollars for my consultation and lab testing. These labs are all done through dunwoody labs, a lab owned by progressive medical center. This clinic all those involved are ethically compromised and committing fraud.

I was a patient of Dr. Nisha Khanna at Progressive and I’m sorry to say that this has been the worst experience yet. I’ve spent years trying to find a practice that won’t just throw a prescription at you after they glance over your chart and meet with you for 5 minutes. After paying $ 300 for an hour-long new patient appointment, Dr. Khanna wanted me to have blood samples taken for 5 – 6 tests, which were pricey. I could afford only 2 of them at the time, so I chose the ones Dr. Khanna said were the priority tests and when the results came back, Durwoody Labs(the lab Progressive sent my tests to) charged FOURTIMES as much as I was told it would cost. I called and spoke with two people named Becky and Andrea, once in December and again in January, asking for a copy of my medical records. They said they’d send them and never did. I asked for a copy of the green lab pricing sheet and she said«We don’t keep record of that». I went to call today for a third time to demand my medical records that I have a legal right to, only to find that their number is disconnected and I can’t seem to contact anyone there. While I blame the practice, rather than the doctor, I feel angry and foolish for trusting this practice with my money and time.

Not honoring prepayments, now they said they no longer belong to the same practice, if I want medical services I have to pay cash? Because they are not honoring what I have already pay. I havent used all the services that I had paid in advance. If my credit card is not refunded in 10 business days, I will have my lawyer take care of this. Beware! So they sell you their services, you get approved by carecredit, they charged the whole amount and now they dont honor any more services pending to fulfill. So i have to pay cash again to be seen? Who is going to pay carecredit? Me? For services I havent received? Fishy fishy here!!!

Be careful. This place isn’t what it claims to be. I’m sorry I spent so much money and placed my trust in them. Lesson learned. There was a severe lack of knowledge and support. Disorganized and careless. This place is shady. Long story to explain why, but they are.
