Pulsar specializes in developing customized business solutions based on open source software like Magento, Wordpress, and Joomla. We can extend and integrate existing systems, open source or proprietary, to automate business processes and develop custom functionality. In addition to open source e-​commerce and content management systems, we also work with other available frameworks like CodeIgniter to design and build web applications from the ground up.

History

Established in 2009.

Pulsar started as a small web development shop with a focus on open source content management systems like Joomla and Wordpress. While we continue to work with the Joomla and Wordpress content management systems — our focus has shifted to developing robust enterprise level e-​commerce solutions based on the Magento e-​commerce framework in addition to providing custom software development services.

Business Owner

Aaron has been a professional web developer for over 10 years. He studied at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio and graduated with a Bachelors in Media Studies. Since then, he has gone on to form Pulsar Web Works, a web-​based software development company located in Austin, TX.
