Very nice people who ran the place. We had the whole place to ourselves! Very clean, would def book for a party. Can’t wait to go again my 3 year old had a blast!

Had my daughters birthday here and it was by far the best experience I have had with dealing with a birthday they did absolutely everything so I could enjoy the party with the kids they set up everything served the kids and helped with Clean up this place let’s the adults jump with the kids and the employees that are hosting get in there with the kids and play to they get the kids dancing and really wear them out I also recommend doing the glow room if your doing a party its all black lights and the kids loved seeing themselves glow the staff is amazing its very clean and stress free I highly recommend this place when people ask for a good party place !!! I will be back in the future

My granddaughter’s birthday party was held at Pump it up. Like most 5 year old girls now she is enthralled with Frozen. Pump it up allowed me to decorate the party room in a Frozen theme and they even helped with the set up. The kids loved the bounce houses and my granddaughter was thrilled with her Frozen party. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. Thank you Austin Pump It Up!!!

Pretty small venue and most of the equipment is in disrepair. Quite a bit of duct tape holding some of the equipment together.

Cold rainy day. Tried to bring the kids here to give them something to do. Checked hours online, drove over. Told at the door «we’re only open for a private party today; I wish you’d called.»
That last part was really unappreciated. How should a customer know to call ahead and ask if you’re only open for a private party? Thanks for making sure I felt like it was my fault, rather than you having crappy customer service.

I take my 2 children, 3 and 4, on really hot days and we love it. They let me go on everything so I have a blast WITH my kids. It’s a small space so I’m not so nervous about losing sight of one of my kids. This place is clean, the houses are in good condition and inflated well and there are steep slides so its fun. The only negative is the small variety and I could see why some people walking in here would be surprised to see it. My kids love it and we are usually here a good two hours. There is also air hockey (extra cost), clean bathrooms, some snacks and drinks for sale, etc. We used to go to wazoos when we lived south and it was falling apart. Yes, it was big, lots of variety and space and a big «café» style set up, but give me clean, quality equipment with nice staff and I’m happy. So far there have rarely been other people and when there were others they were nice and friendly, supervised and willing to share. At larger places I often find myself breaking up fights of other peoples unsupervised children. I wish there was a house specifically for younger children that are nervous on the larger houses, but my 3 year old still begs to go here even though she doesn’t go down on any of the slides.

We Wendy’s for a kids 4^th birthday. It’s a two hour event, 35 minutes in the regular room than 35 minutes in the glow room, then 50 mins in the eating room. No one needs 50mins in the eating room, wish we had more time in the bounce play rooms. Anyways, we did have a blast. Kids, adults everyone had fun. Downfalls, there are a lot of broken parts, some had blue tape, some didn’t which caused me to sprang my ankle. It’s a big accident prone place. When a few of us scraped our elbows, which is likely to happen playing around, we went to the front to ask for something to clean the scraps and the women just hands me a bandaid, stating that’s all they have. Then she realized they had a bottle of neosporin. Not a individual packet but a regular tube which I found unsanitary. For a place where is defiantly accident prone they should have an updated sanitary first aid kit. According to the front desk, since she’s worked there they have not updated the kit. I do think it is a nice fun place for kids, but I also feel they should fix all the little nits that are broken.

So lame… as being the first time coming here, I really was expecting a more fun diverse place… Really disappointing. I’ve being at other inflatable places and which I thought were all right, but man comparing those other places to this one, the other ones are great.
Here there’s three huge inflatable settings in a very small enclosed area, with no music to entertain the parents, besides the awful location, the inside was no better. I’m giving this place a three star because the inflatables are big and colorful only.

went today for the first time ever!!! the little one refused to jump in any of the jumpers even with me going with him. but that didnt stop JEREMY from tryiing!!! my son was off playing by himself on the little caterpiler when jeremy walked up with a ball and started playing with him. after about 20 mins of playing my son was ready to take the big step and jump.
kudos to the worker jeremy for getting my son to relax and jump. i feel that he went above and beyond to help make my child comfortable!!!

If you have kids, you don’t have to read this review. You’ve probably already been to Pump It Up and have your own opinion.
What’s good about this place? They do have a pretty decent staff, a tried and true format for having kid’s parties, and none of it happens at your house.

If you have kids, you probably already know about this place. My daughter had her b-​day party there and I think every kid she knows has also had a b-​day party at Pump It Up. My wife has always had a problem with bouncy houses just cuz they are so often unclean germ factories. Pump It Up is very clean and a well-​oiled kid machine. They keep the kids entertained and active. They interact with the kids so you can kick back and watch or socialize with the other parents. The only thing I don’t like are all the «up-​sells» they push. I wish more of these were included in there packaging, but it IS a business and I’m a sales guy myself. I know about up-​sells, I just don’t have to like them!

With 6 years of parenting and attending around 547 birthday parties (give or take a few) at every imaginable venue in the Austin area, I feel completely confident in proclaiming Pump It Up (PIU) the king of «we do it for you» parties for children (especially in the 3 – 6 year old age range).
Certain times of the year, we are guests of this PIU location about once per month, and my own son had his own 4^th birthday party here. We’ve seen princess parties, dinosaur parties, Star Wars parties, ninja parties, Beyblade parties, Spiderman parties, and no particular theme parties at PIU. The theme really doesn’t matter, though, as all the kids really want to do is get to the inflatables rooms tout de suite and commence with the going nuts. This is totally fine because PIU staffs your event with 3 – 4 friendly, trained employees who make sure that everyone is following safety rules, and the kids get programmed beforehand with a mesmerizing video ending in a call/​response quiz about the most important rules. What do you do when the whistle blows? (shouting at the top of your lungs) Stop! Look! And listen!
For those who missed my first report, a PIU party goes like this. Kids arrive 15 minutes early to watch the safety video and have parents fill out a waiver. At party time, everyone is herded into the first inflatable room where only your party guests will enjoy the attractions. About ¹⁄₃ of the way through the party, everyone is moved to the next inflatable room for more playtime on some different bouncy entertainments. Finally, you go into your private party room for nourishment, drinks, and b-​day cake. At the end, the PIU staff clean up everything and help you get all the gifts and such loaded back into your vehicle.
Having hosted many special events at my own home and other venues, the PIU party is by far the most stress-​free way to do it. Being able to relax and enjoy your guests knowing that all of the other tasks are being handled capably is such a relief. Knowing that everyone in the room with you is either a staff member or a guest is also a big plus.
I’m glad to see that they took the advice from my original review in 2008 and covered up the uncarpeted areas in the playrooms, so there are no more run-​slip-​bump catastrophes. Other changes since then include the addition of some vending machines with soft drinks and bottled water, as well as coffee and ice cream sold at the front lobby. PIU has also introduced some of their own theme parties including Glow In the Dark, Pirate Quest, and Superhero Training Camp. Finally, they now offer an online invitation system (similar to evite) that allows you to track all of your RSVPs and even have your guests’ parents pre-​sign the release waiver — very handy!
We have never used Pop In Playtime, but from reading other reviews, it sounds like that is a zoo and to be avoided if that sort of thing makes your eye twitch.

We just had our son’s birthday at Pump it Up and it went so well. It was his third birthday, and this was a perfect place for it. It is so nice that it is just your kid’s group in a room at a time so for little kids you don’t have the normal problem of big kids flying all over the place and pushing the smaller kids out of the way.
The staff was also great and has complete control of things but seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. They certainly provided great service and even handled things when they came up (the pizza delivery person was a little haphazard with the pizza but the staff took care of it and got them to bring out 2 more pizzas to replace the issues).
Setup and breakdown were also great. Our son felt so special and he said that it was the best birthday party he has been to. That is some giant praise from a now 3-​year old! For birthdays, this is a great place! We felt that it was money well spent.

Birthday parties at Pump It Up are awesome, but avoid the Pop In Playtime during the summer unless you’re a fan of Lord of the Flies. Kids flagrantly ignoring all the rules, trashy parents ignoring their kids and no attendants trying to control the chaos. Thought it would be a fun activity when it was hot outside, but we won’t be back at any general admission events.

Alright, so I’m one of those Moms who tries to make her kids birthday parties the best of the best. Well thanks to Pump it Up in Austin, I pulled it off. We had the best experience ever; I honestly wish I could have tipped every single member of the staff that day. We did not have a single problem. I am kicking myself for taking so long to Unilocal their credit; we had a HUGE party back in November.
The staff went above and beyond to make this experience the best yet, they even appeared to be having as much fun as the children. When we decided to tour places to hold the party we visited Pump it Up and were greeted with the best customer service and advice, we put down a deposit that day without hesitation. The equipment was fun and all of our guests enjoyed it. They gave my two birthday boys crowns and hammers and made their day special! If you’re looking for a fun place to throw a party for your kiddo’s Pump it Up is the place. You’ll get your own room and jump with only your guests, a PRIVATE party for a fraction of the price at any other joint.
My only wish is that it was twice the size or at a larger location; more inflatables would be a lot more fun; but it was well worth the money.

We chose Pump it Up for my grandson’s birthday party yesterday. We’ve been to several inflatable party places in Austin and by FAR this was the most enjoyable experience we’ve had! You are met at the door by a friendly staff member who has a cart and loads the cart at your car, takes it inside and while you are enjoying the «bouncing», the staff is setting up everything in the party room. And the party room is enclosed — not open to every other party or noise from bouncing area. Brightly decorated rooms with a huge inflatable «throne» where the birthday kid sits to open gifts. Birthday kid is given an inflatable crown and sceptor. What we loved is that this is always YOUR party only. Your group will be the only one in each bouncing area at a time. Staff members take care of every need — they periodically touch base with you to make sure they are setting up as you wish. In the party room, they have it all set up when your group comes in for refreshments and presents — they serve the food and drinks, light the birthday cake, record all the birthday gifts with names and send this home with you. THEN… the staff member packs up all gifts in a large bag, reboxes the leftover birthday cake, loads up the cart again and delivers all of it to your car. Unbelieveable attention to detail. Family members are left to completely and totally enjoy the party!!! May cost a little more and I emphasize «little» but is worth every penny!

Pump It Up was very impressive compared to many other inflatable «bouncy places» we have attended. We were birthday party guests, and it was wonderful to see how the parents of the little girl were able to enjoy the party and take photos — a staff of 2 girls helped with everything! I noticed right away how organized it was and such a relief compared to places with 100s of kids running amok. Plus, it seemed very clean. Great place.

I just hosted a birthday party there for our 9 year old daughter with 15 kids. Couldn’t be happier with how easy it was to have the party there. They helped me get the party stuff out of my car and they set up the whole party room. I didn’t even have to pour snacks into bowls, etc. I had forgotten the bag I had packed with the paper plates, napkins and candles, and they had my back on all of those items! They were already in the party room.
The kids had a great time too. The icing on the cake — when they asked if I wanted them to get the kids together for a group picture, I told them that my camera batteries had died. They happened to have replacements for me! That is above and beyond what I expected!
I am usually not so disorganized, but I picked a great place have a lapse of organization!
Yes, it is a little formulaic — the kids are moved from room to room — and the party wasn’t that long (only 1.5 hours) based upon the package I chose. But I’ll trade that for a party that makes it easy on MOM!

For those considering hosting a party here — we had a birthday party here last fall and were very pleased with everything. It’s definitely not the cheapest party place in town, but there’s lots of added value. All the people who worked here, from owner to helpers, were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They made things run really smoothly and I was pleased by the service. There was also very clear communication ahead of time about the waivers, party times, need to wear socks, and so on. I would host a party here again (but I’d save up for it first).

I went to a birthday party here for some 4 year-​old kids and was most impressed, mainly by the efficiency of the operation and the people that work there.
They appeared to be mainly teenagers or college kids that worked the parties but they clearly loved working with kids, which is quite a task, entertaining hordes of screaming kids at a birthday party, but they seemed to be having fun and were really professional. One little kid bonked her nose quite hard in one of the bouncy houses and the staff were really concerned. Be it a liability mitigation thing or genuine concern, either way they were really awesome.
The place was clean, the staff was friendly, I was really impressed.
Perhaps the only downside was parking was slightly limited on a very busy Saturday afternoon, prime party time. I’m fixing to take my kiddo back on a weekday to play in air –conditioned comfort.
