Our team of professionals is dedicated to providing the highest quality service at an affordable price while being accountable for the work we perform. We work for some of the most well respected builders and architects in Austin but we also perform simple repairs on small projects. History

Established in 1991.

In 1991 Jon Yarbrough started Quality Roofing as a purely residential roofer. In 2004 Jon Yarbrough started Quality Gutter Systems to bring added value to our customers by providing seamless gutter solutions in addition to roof solutions. In 2006 Quality Roofing became a preferred contractor for USAA insurance company. We work closely with all insurance companies to assist each policy holder through the roof insurance claim process. Currently both Quality Roofing & Quality Gutter Systems employ 20 full time employees. We also employ subcontractors who specialize in specific types of roofing systems. Our job-​site superintendents and several of our employees have worked for Quality Roofing more than 10 years.

In 2006 Quality Roofing became a preferred contractor for USAA insurance company. Quality Roofing is also a Nationwide Insurance preferred vendor and a Farmers Insurance preferred vendor. We work closely with all insurance companies to assist each policy holder through the roof insurance claim process. We are proud to hold an A + rating with Angie’s List. Currently both Quality Roofing & Quality Gutter Systems employ 20 full time employees. Our job-​site superintendents and several of our employees have worked for Quality Roofing more than 10 years. Our business is built around providing exceptional roofing and gutter solutions to homeowners and builders. During the various wind and rain storms in the last couple of months, our house had experienced many water damages, one of which was coming down from the roof, through the attic, and through our ceiling, bending our trims and moldings in the laundry room.
We didn’t have a default roofer, so I came onto Unilocal looking for possible solutions, and sent a few quote requests for repairing this problem. Quality Roofing was the first to respond and show up.
Wesley showed up on time, and was very courteous and helpful. After explaining to him our problem and telling him what we know, we showed him where the leak was coming in through the ceiling. He said he just needs to go up to the roof to take a look because he had a suspicion. When he came down, he told us that it was fixed.
Long story short, Wesley fixed our problem within minutes, and didn’t even need to go into the attic in our case. He said he didn’t need to. He charged us what was more than reasonable, and since then, rain storms did not cause anymore leaks there.
He also gave us an idea of the condition of our roof. He said that there are places where the shingles are needing attention, but it’s not something that we need to worry about right now, just keep an eye on it, especially after the next wind or hail storm.
I’m keeping his business card on our fridge! He is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to take a look at your roof before you pick anyone else.

Very happy; our roof replacement job was started on schedule and completed on time. There was ample time to inspect and ensure all elements had been properly addressed to our full satisfaction. Quality Roofing made a «big job» seem pretty easy.

I agree with mostly everything Ray M said about Quality roofing, these guys do have potential but their work practices on my job were borderline negligent and their inter communication is appalling.
We had a leak around the heating vent area, seemingly simple job, the estimator (wesley) told me the vent needed replaced.
When the contractor came to replace the storm collar, instead of replacing the heating vent he dislodged the entire vent, moved it about 6 inches to the right I guess so he could make the collar fit. The furnace exhaust was left exposed My wife is pregnant you can imagine the potential hazard and concern I have as it leaked toxic fumes in our home.
I was told their quality control would inspect the work, they did not, the guy didn’t even come inside to look. Then they tried to charge me for replacing the heating vent which they never did. cutting a long story short its been four months, I finally got them to fix the vent and agree a revised invoice, however they are unable to actually tell me the final amount and send a simple email, I have asked three times now. so months later I am trying to pay them but am unable to while I receive a legal letter demanding the original amount for the work they never performed. sigh…
Joseph — if you read this I don’t think I am being unreasonable with my comments, the contractor never even checked his work, no qc follow up. You have some good guys there but there is something messed up in how your company operates and communicates.
Respectfully and hoping you guys can sort these issues out.

Very satisfied with my new metal roof. Tyler and Andrew both know their stuff. The craftsmanship of the carpentry and the metal installers was excellent!
My power bill is ~15% less. Anyone considering a metal roof… go for it.

These people do great work, do what they promise to do, and are reasonably priced. Best roofing company I’ve ever encountered. Drew was our project manager. This guy was very knowledgeable and meticulous about the details of getting the job right. I’ll never even consider a different roofing company as long as these guys are around.

We recently had Quality Roofing do a full replacement on our 25 year old roof. They were one of three companies recommended to us by our State Farm agent as a highly experienced and reputable company. They provided a better overall package at a lower cost than any of the other contractors we spoke to. We were extremely happy with the roofing crew and their attention to detail and quality through the entire installation. There were several other roofing companies working in our neighborhood at the same time and it was very noticeable how much more care and attention the Quality crew put into our roof. We were also extremely happy with the care they took in protecting the plants, decking and pool and then cleaning up afterwards. Not a single nail, shingle or felt piece ended up in the pool. We highly recommend them.

Quality — But Not The First Time
1. I felt like the details that the estimator and I agreed upon were not adequately communicated to the people performing the work. Examples include not replacing water damaged sections of plywood that we agreed would be replaced, not replacing the rain diverters, and not hauling away the old satellite dish.
2. It concerned me that there was no employee of Quality Roofing present when the initial contractors performed the work.
3. I felt like the work done by the original contractors was borderline negligent. Examples include leaving visible sealant between two rows of shingles, creating and then leaving holes in the plywood, leaving wide gaps between sections of plywood that were replaced, and ripping the rain sensor for my irrigation system off the fence.
4. The repair crew that Quality Roofing sent did an outstanding job correcting the deficiencies in the work done by the first contractor. It took them nearly a full day. Additionally, they noticed that the vent for my gas-​fired water heater had been disconnected at the top of the heater due to the work of the first contractors and they reattached the vent.
I think I ended up with a quality roof, but the job was not done right the first time and this created a lot of extra work for me in order to get as close to what I paid for as possible.

99.9% satisfied with my metal roof installation.
Tyler is an absolute professional salesperson, was fast with the proposal and delivered a competitive price.
Taylor in operations, also did an excellent job with the project management. His communication was so consistent and reliable that when I didn’t hear from him for a couple days, I thought something must have happened to him. Turns out he was ok and was working on a scheduling bottleneck. This lapse in communication is the only reason my review is not 100%.
Quality Roofing does a tremendous job making sure the roof is water tight. They used a premium underlayment and went above and beyond to make sure the vent pipe was flashed completely.
I am very happy with the quality of the install and would recommend them to anyone looking for a metal roof.

We’ve worked with Tyler twice now, and each time we have been thoroughly impressed. We never have to wait long to hear back from him, which was especially nice the first time we needed roofing help, because it was during the bizzaro thunderstorm month that randomly came around in July of 2012.
Everyone and their brother needed roof repair, and we were still able to get a quick response from Tyler and his team. He assessed the damage, took pictures to show us exactly what the issue was, and had someone out two days later. The repair was perfect, and the man who did the work even cut away some of the branches that had caused the problem in the first place. (They aren’t a tree service, so I’m not saying they’ll cut branches away as part of their work, it just so happened that the offending branches in our case were fairly small and easy to snap off manually. We were just impressed by the above-​and-​beyond mentality.)
Our first experience was so positive that we went back to them without hesitation when our rental property needed a whole new roof. Tyler was great, the work was flawless, and he managed to work within the parameters of our home insurance so that we were able to take full advantage of our coverage. Again, we were impressed by the fact that he had gone out of his way to make sure that we received the best possible service, completely without prompting.
We will absolutely hire Quality Roofing again if we ever run across roofing problems. They were professional, quick to respond, and their work was impeccable.

I have a big, flat, concrete roof on my house. It’s a pain. These guys have come out a couple times to fix the bad job another roofer did and to help with the install of two bathroom vent penetrations in the roof membrane. They aren’t the cheapest, but when it comes to your roof, don’t learn the hard way as I did, hire someone who knows exactly what they are doing.
They came out and corrected some drainage issues, fixed some blatant errors, and generally improved the total installation of my original TPO roof. The roof is performing/​draining way better now and I no longer lose sleep over the prospect of a big rain. Totally recommend.

What can I say? I called, they returned my call promptly, they showed up when they said they would, the estimate and repair work on our tile roof were provided and completed timely and without incident, and no debris was left in the yard when they were finished.

Anyone who lives in the Austin area knows how difficult it is to hire a responsible contractor. Half the time, they won’t even call you back, and when they do, you end up getting a quote for services that’s twice what you should pay.
We ran across Quality Roofing purely by accident — they were who our insurance company sent out to assess the state of our roof. Turns out the state was pretty sad. So we got a quote for a new standing seam roof that turned out to be much less than we thought it would. Email sent to Joseph was answered incredibly promptly, even when it was late on a weekend evening, and he and his foreman Taylor were unfailingly professional and courteous.
Despite some hiccups with getting the project started (there was an issue with the color approval from city hall, then with the supply of material from the manufacturer, then a glitch with the crew; the color approval issue was not on Quality’s side), once they got started, the job was done within a week. I admit that I had some misgivings when I saw the amount of trash and debris around the yard, but their final cleanup sweep eliminated everything, and we were left with nothing but a nice, new roof.

Joseph and team at Quality Roofing are incredible. I’ve remodeled and restored homes for about 11 years now and only wish I would’ve known about them way back when! They use the latest, greatest materials and are incredible problem solvers for even the most challenging roof situations. We have a roof that is partially flat (thanks to the roofing system Quality Roofing installs, it now has a lifetime warranty and we are worry free!)…they have not only performed an impeccable installation but it is also incredibly cosmetically pleasing to the eye. I cannot recommend Quality Roofing enough… don’t believe me? Go get other bids, then compare… proof is in the pudding!
