I have been a long time customer of Regal Plastics. I will never purchase anything from them again. They have had constant accounting problems lately. I have been double charged, sent late invoices for things paid for many months prior and today an additional credit card charge for an invoice that I have a receipt for, with no prior phone call. Laird Plastic is two minutes down the street always better prices, turnaround and never had any «mix ups». Regal has also implemented an extra fee that is added to every order on top of the cutting fee they charge a handling fee. No extra service is added for this fee. WORST SERVICE AND PRICES IN TOWN!!!

Regal Plastic’s great service and friendly staff is what keeps me coming back for all my acrylic fabrication needs! There fast service, great prices and willingness to help on any custom project I need is why Regal Plastic is my recommended company for anything you need in the Austin area!

Got great advice for a project I was working on. Customer service and price was great. Was in and out in a hurry.

I have been a customer of them for the past 4 – 5 years, always a big smile and when there’s no an smile on my next visit I noticed either there is no longer the sales rep there, or it is smiling! Hahaha how good is that.
Now the reason I am writing this review its because today they went beyond my expectations. I was looking for a custom structure for one of my clients and all the online «super good deals places» didn’t haven’t when I need it, and it was really expensive.
I came by to Regal, and after a research of about 15 minutes, they were able to have all y a couple of days, for a lot less and is LOCAL, so yes this guys are the real deal.

Whoa! New management and some new staff. Today was highly efficient and functional– a complete 180 from years and years of incompetence and inefficiency. Looking forward to the future with Regal.

The service here is incredible! I love this place! They have a new manager and I have totally seen a great change! there is music playing now„ and everyone is really upbeat and cares so much about service!
They made me some acrylic boxes and they look spectacular!

Regal Plastics Supply called me this morning letting me know my order (that I got quoted from them at *least* 2 weeks ago) was ready. Problem is, I never put the order in, because they gave me a ridiculous lead time (in their defense, this was during SXSW prep madness time), and told them no thanks. So when I informed the guy on the phone that I never submitted the order in any way because their price was too high and their lead time wouldn’t work, he got upset and said «Fine I’ll just go cut it up» (this is about a $ 600 custom order) and basically hung up — like it’s my fault they didn’t wait for order confirmation. Regal can take a hike. I should have been done with them a long time ago. They are far from the only plastics show in town, and I think they forget that. Laird Plastics came through with a 2 day turnaround time and about $ 50 cheaper than Regal. I’ve found my new supplier.

I love this place, David is a manager and is helping me replace deer stand windows in The blynd stands we have at our deer hunting places! Colors are way better than factory replacement option. I am very glad RP is in Austin. Where great service meets superb value. This is the place to go for deer stand windows!

Quality of work was fine, turn-​around time and communication leave much to be desired. Order was a week or so late.

Retail minimum has been increased to $ 50. Simply ridiculous. I don’t even care if I need a few hundred dollars of acrylic, will no longer shop here out of principle.

Honestly no idea about there product. I waited exactly 17min… No line. Coworkers just talking to each other about weekend plans. When helped the guy was very impolite and was annoyed I was there. Disorganized. I didn’t buy from them because it was going to take 1.5 weeks to get what i needed. I had two other bids from competitors that they’d have it done same day. Plus, I have to be nice and polite at my job, shouldn’t you be at yours? Just sayin…

So I took this really simple project that a previous plastic shop «austin plastic supply» lost my parts and order for and told the nice people at regal that my previous shop lost and forgot my order. It is seriously just a couple sheets that I needed cut and some bars and rods that needed to be cut and angled and polished. Nothing fancy. Nothing hard. Feeling assured that after explaining my frustration from the last plastic shop that regal could handle such a simple task… Guess what happened? Week one goes by, nothing. Called. Nothing. Week two goes by. Called again nothing. Week 3 goes by. Promises that part of it is done but the rest would be a few days more. Asked if I could pick up some of it. No because they want to give it to me all at once. Ok so I call next mon. Out to lunch and will call back. No call back. Tuesday. Called again. Too busy they’ll call back. No call back. Wed comes I call 3 times finally speak to them. No parts, can’t pick up anything because nothin is done. They forgot about my order and assured me one more week. I refused. I picked up my damn parts and will be going elsewhere yet again. You idiots at these plastic shops need to get your asses in order. I can’t believe the ridiculousness of this ordeal just tryin to get some rods an sheets cut. Seriously I’ll never go here again. Can’t get anything done even after explaining I just went through a similar situation at another shop regal plastic you seriously suck and are a real let down.

Just one word. Plastics.
Very good at what they do. Jesse on the phone was quite helpful in my search for one small piece of acrylic sheet, cut to a precise size. He pointed out that while they could do it easily, their minimum fee for such work was $ 25, and for that I could get two pieces cut to size. So I measured our outdoor menu board which had faded in the sun quite a bit.
He offered a UV-​coated sheet, at the same minimum price for the job which would be more resistant to sunlight and keep the menu underneath bright and colorful. A day or so later I got a call, and picked up two perfectly-​cut sheets of acrylic, carefully wrapped and covered with protective film from Jesse in person, who was just as pleasant.
Good service, good price, timely order completion, and a new addition to my UnilocalList of «Special Specialty Stores,» places which may only do one or two things, but they do them damn well.

I came here to write about their excellent customer service, and am surprised to see any negative reviews. Leetha, a sales associate, has been nothing but pleasant and helpful with my order! I’m a sign maker at a local grocer, and will definitely be back for any plastic needs we have. Great place all around!

Disorganized phone service-​On hold for 15 minutes and was asked about a dozen times what i was calling for.
Poor turnover-​NONE of my calls were ever returned and my order was a week late.
Failed to follow instructions– they forgot to fulfill my cultist order TWICE and over charged me by mistake.
Only reason they have 2 stars instead of one is because the one lady, Lisa, working there was very polite and apologetic for the poor service. Good job Lisa!

Great experience yesterday. I called in the morning asking for a custom cut acrylic top for my dinner table. They gave me the best price of everyone I called, which is great. Then they cut it and had it delivered to my house same day. Cut was great and fast turnaround. Awesome.

Worst customer service ever — both over the phone and at the counter. I was looking to spend thousands on some bulk Acrylic glass for a large art project. I walked in and the employees nearly had an argument about who was supposed to help me, as nobody wanted to stop what they were doing and attend to a new customer.
The lady who «helped» me was clearly bored of her job and acted put out that she had to speak with me at all. I asked several questions and requested to look at some samples. She pointed at the wall where some samples were hanging and said «everything we sell is over there». I asked about another material that I saw on their website which was not on the sample wall — a big sigh as she went into a hidden cabinet behind the counter and shuffled around for a while before presenting a sample of the material (so apparently it’s not all on the sample wall).
I asked about another material that I saw listed on their website which was also not on the sample wall — she sighed and looked annoyed and informed me that it was special order and they had no samples for that material. I couldn’t be sure if she was telling the truth or just didn’t feel like digging through the hidden sample cabinet again.
I basically said thanks and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I felt extremely unwelcome there in spite of being ready to spend a lot of money.

I was just in there and rec’d the WORST customer service I’ve encountered. I was trying to get a piece of plastic fixed that they did with jagged edges. The elderly lady who finally waited on me wanted to argue with me and almost accuse me of stealing because I didn’t get charged for bent plastic. (She couldn’t even look up my receipt she was so inept) I then asked for someone else to talk to. She said they didn’t charge me for some services and now I want it fixed on something I got for free. NOT MY FAULT I supposedly wasn’t charged the correct amount in the first place. Then, the lady to the right had to pipe in and say rude comments too. It’s like they like this drama!
The Manager came and and he had bad customer service skills like his workers. He asked me why I didn’t get charged for the bent plastic I rec’d. I told him I don’t know. What he should have known is I DON’T work there, so why are you asking me why your business is doing something??? Really? He also told me I needed to request sealed edges and said all his customers know this. How would I know this? I wouldn’t.
They have all these signs up saying stuff about great customer service and customer loyalty. Whatever…
They even have a sign that says for orders under $ 25, there is an additional $ 5 charge. I was charged this. When talking to the owner he said that I wasn’t even suppose to have an order under $ 25. He said to fix the plastic I was sold, I would have to pay at least $ 10 more to make up for the difference for the $ 25 minimum. Make up your mind!
In the end, they somewhat fixed the plastic, but seriously, this place has MAJOR Customer Service issues!

So they don’t all radiate good cheer and perfect manners all day long? Who does? I love this company for their reliability, good materials and knowledge.

These people are more concerned that the taco truck is in the parking lot than taking care of someone standing at their counter. Also, the non-​work related banter was very inappropriate with a customer within earshot. These people are extremely unprofessional from the sales counter to the will-​call counter, unbelievable.
