This Lorenzo character is being pursued by the BBB (and probably the law at this point). He stole the business identity of the VERY reliable Don Carpenter with Reliable Appliance Repair —
. Don Carpenter is awesome and runs a superior company! He and Forest both came out to take a look at my washing machine after TWO other companies came and 1. told me the same thing was wrong as the 1^st company and then 2. told me they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. After digging a little deeper and obviously having MUCH higher knowledge of the workings of appliances, they fixed my machine in about 30 minutes. I had been almost 2 months without a working washer and they fixed it in 30 minutes! Literally… they were so good it kind of pissed me off that the other companies were not on par. They were unprofessional on the phone and in person. They gave me 3 different appt windows and were no show’s for the first two and late for the 3^rd. I don’t think they really even had an opening that day and were trying to keep me on the line waiting for them. When he finally did come to «fix» my dishwasher he got water and hard water residue all over the kitchen. Then he told me he needed to charge me an additional $ 70 to run acid to clean the hard water stains. Online I got the acid I needed for $ 3.95. I ended up fixing it myself after cleaning up the mess he made. These guys are scam artists.

My dishwasher had a problem and i was told the $ 35.00 trip fee would go towards parts and labor. Well, to make a long story short — they wanted to charge me $ 75.00 to order a «$ 15.00» piece (So 35.00 trip charge by itself — note not applied to parts and labor-​, 15.00 part and 15.00 in shipping and 10.00 in taxes = !!! I have no clue what tax rate this guy is using??) which would have $ 15.00 shipping fees from all the way on Braker and Kraemer in Austin to Cedar Park and then they would need $ 65.00 more dollars to come back and install it. REALLY??? I don’t know how these idiots sleep at night condusting business like that!
Told him to take the 35.00 check to get him out of my house as I was home alone and he quite honestly scared me when he started talking all of his gibberish. BTW — The part was 5.00 at First Source.

****UPDATE: Since I was lied to regarding the trip charge being applied to parts and repairs and then told I would have to pay a doubled trip charge to have the ordered part installed (!!!) I have stopped payment on my check. This guy is more than welcome to call me for my lawyer’s phone number and I have also notified APD as well — BY THE WAY DUDE, THEY ARE ON TO YOU AND IT IS A MATTER OF TIME TILL YOUR LITTLE SCAM WILL FOLD!*************

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are a complete rip off. Charged us $ 170 to fix the dryer, was there 10 minutes and left. Dryer still had same issues after he left and when we called him back he made an apt. for 9am the next morning. He never showed up and when we would call him he kept hanging up on us. Called from different phone numbers and he answered and as soon as he found out it was us… dial tone. Save your money and don’t make the same stupid mistake that I did.

I called to have a trash compactor repaired and they said they would be here by noon. I waited with my phone out front so I could let them in the garage to repair this appliance. After waiting more than 30 minutes I called to see if they were delayed or lost.
I was told they had come by and called but I wasn’t there. I told him I had no record of any incoming calls and explained that I had been waiting out front since before noon. I asked him to confirm if the guy had the right address and phone number and to call me back. He did not call back after 15 minutes so I called him. When I told him who I was he hung up on me.

My dryer stopped heating up and drying clothes so I called these guys after I found them on the internet. The good news is, they fixed the appliance. Now for the bad. The guy Lorenzo was friendly enough, said he would be at my house at around 4, but did not show up until 6:30, without advance notice, and seemed aggravated when I called at 5:30 to see where he was. The cost of the repair was $ 180. Which is pretty ridiculous if you can buy a brand new dryer for $ 200. I asked him what the breakdown of the costs were and he said the heating element cost $ 100 (mind you it was made in Mexico — how is that possible???) and the rest was labor. Which is also ridiculous because it took literally 20 minutes to fix. Later I googled the part and found it for around $ 35, so he lied about that. Next time I will just do it myself and save the $ 200. LAME.

We had called them to schedule service for our refrigerator, we had ordered our Mother Board from GE and they changed a couple of sensors. After spending $ 300 dollars on the service, including parts they left and the refrigerator was running, after 1 day it stopped working. When we called them to come back they never returned our calls. After 10 call attempts we got a hold of them, they said they would come back, they never did. I had called them again, they put me on hold and dropped the call. Supposedly the parts have warranty, we have a receipt, but if you go to their website there is no address, just a phone number. The website is blocked private? Just beware because our food went bad, over $ 200 and they never responded to our calls. This is just bad service and a SCAM. Now we have to call another company, and on top of that we can’t even report them anywhere because it seems like a FAKE business. BEWARE, just pay a company that has a reputation and solid reviews.
