Did you lose a tree because of a storm? Are you tired of that eyesore in your yard? Did you just recently have a tree cut down and now you are left with an ugly stump?
Grinding those stumps down below the surface of the topsoil allows for effective yard repair and replanting of the area. Stump grinding is much less expensive than stump removal processes and it eliminates the disturbance of the surrounding lawn area. The mulch created by the grinding process can be recycled by using it on your flower beds to control weeds and maintain soil moisture.
Here’s a helpful tip! If you plan to replant a new tree, place it at least 5 feet away, in any direction, from the old site to allow for proper root development. If you are tired of mowing around those unsightly stumps or just want to enhance the appearance of your property, give us a call. We’ll come out and inspect the area and give you a free estimate on the cost to grind those stumps down
History
Established in 1993.
Uncle Stumpy became involved with it during college and has over the years upgraded machines. Last upgrade was when Hurricane Ike blew through Houston. We spent months grinding stumps in and around Houston. We have been back in Austin servicing clients and have a spotless track record. Nephew’s named their uncle, Uncle Stumpy. Lately we have been tackling many stumps in the Bastrop area due to the awful wildfires in the area.
Let Uncle Stumpy come over and take out that ugle ‘olé stump.
