Rico’s Tree Service

I called their number and spoke to Rico and asked for an estimate. They came out about 2 hours later on Saturday and gave me a bid for taking down a very large tree, and also let me know that he was insured, which is important b/​c this tree was overhanging my neighbor’s house.
I had 2 other companies come out, but Rico was the lowest quote. I called them back and told them I’d like to go with them. SO, the very next day they were outside at 8:30 AM, as promised, and getting the tree down. It was a very difficult tree to take down as many of the branches hung very high directly over my neighbor’s house.
About 4 hours later, they were wrapping up, no damages done, everything was cleaned up and Rico was thanking me for the business! I was very impressed with not only the performance, but also the speed of getting the tree down, as well as the next day service. I love when companies/​workers are eager to work. Good job, highly recommend.

THE BEST! and that’s the only way I can start my comments on the service and perfect job Rico did in my yard. Rico is the man of promise and action. He truly exceeded way above my expectations and performed a lot more that what we discussed on the scope of his work. This is a man that you Do NOT need any written contract, just a hand-​shake, he is a man of honor and his word. He certainly under-​promised and OVER-​delivered!
I sure will recommend him to all my family and friends, and had told and shown my neighbors the work that Rico did in my yard.
His work is superb, his crew are fast, accurate in their work, and very humble and respectful. During the three days of work on my property, I did not hear any of his crew to use a wrong or foul word, not even once.
Rico is an honest, religious, and a family man. He holds a high level of ethics and morality. He is a personable man with a high quality of integrity and values.

I called Rico on a Monday morning about a single tree in my backyard that I needed trimmed. I probably could have done it myself, but it would have taken me all day.
Rico came by in just a couple hours the same day to give me a very reasonable quote to trim the tree and then came back again the same day with a technician to do the work.
Rico is a super awesome and honest guy and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing some tree work done even if it is a super small job!

Very happy with Rico and his crew. I was getting a bid from another tree company and called Rico’s for a second bid. He said he and his crew were just finishing a job and weren’t ready to call it a day. He not only underbid the other company, but he and his crew and their get-​it-​done attitude did the job in less than two hours. They cleaned up every last branch and even hauled away some other large brush I already had at my curb (they didn’t even ask or tell me they were doing it, I just happened to notice) I would hire them again in a heart beat!

Rico responded to my phone call quickly for a tree removal after a storm. He was quick and very professional as well as affordable.

Rico’s a good dude. I’d been trying to save some cash lately, keep up with the yard in South Congress neighborhood myself. But with all the rain, storms, dropped limbs and huge overgrowth in just a few weeks I probably wasn’t going to get it all done myself anytime soon. Then come’s Rico knocking at my door. He was super cool, reasonable, talked me through what he proposed doing and checked in with me before doing anything more significant with my trees. I’m pretty picky about that kind of stuff, often hiring an arborist to keep the trees healthy. He even removed 3 huge century agave’s that bloomed and were starting to die off. His crew did a great job. Thanks Rico, call you next time.

Rico and his team were amazing! They turned my hideous yard into a beautiful area that my kids and puppy can play in every day now! He was very professional and answered any and all questions that I had. He was very well priced and really made me feel good about the whole process! I can’t recommend him enough. We plan on doing more stuff in the future and will for sure be using Rico’s Tree Service again!

It was a pleasure to work Rico and his crew. Rico is a thorough professional and very reliable. I had him do about 1000 ft of stone edging and 30 yards of crushed granite. He stayed on schedule, within agreed budget, left the job site clean and performed high quality work.

I hired Rico and his crew to make my yard presentable and they did such a good job I hired them back again! Both times Rico arrived early, listened and asked questions during the walkthrough, presented an itemized scope of work and showed a professional demeanor throughout.
And what a job they do! My backyard was an overgrown jungle with bamboo, vines, poison ivy and nettles making walking impossible. Rico’s men worked hard all day long and gave us our backyard back. Our dogs love it.
Both times Rico and his crew impressed me with their willingness to work very hard all day, without many breaks. Both times the results have amazed me and my wife, who thinks I’m brilliant for finding Rico.

Rico and his crew were fantastic to work with and very professional. They beat out all the other bids I received for my job. I had Rico fill in a pool in my backyard with thousands of pounds of dirt and turn a hole in the ground into a beautiful backyard with grass. I am really happy with the work they did, they were on time and considerate and worked extremely hard. I would highly recommend using Rico and his crew for anything you need done outside.
I will be using them again the future, best value for your money and a good group of guys.

I would like to take this time today to say thank you to Rico and his crew for handling an emergency removal at a very late hour. My mother in law recently had a huge limb fall on her rooftop. And trust me I’m no lumber jack. My wife was eager to put me on this task, saying that she did not want her mother getting burnt or overcharged. Lucky for me I had met Ricardo, the owner of Rico’s tree service, at my place of business. I was quick to retrieve his business card and make the call. In a short amount of time he and his crew showed up, assessed the situation, and handled the job. Fast and friendly service and they took the mess with them. Absolutely no trace of them being there. Five stars the whole way.
