Coffee was good but the service we experienced was rude. We just ordered a coffee and two bakery items and received an attitude from the girl behind the counter. When our total came to $ 8.01 she seriously gave us 0.99 cents back. Talk about cheap. I normally tip $ 1 for this to go transaction but not when treated like that I do not. Service issues aside, the macchiato was pretty good. I would have given it a higher rating if the girl was friendlier. I will never go back because of this.

Had a tasty vanilla latte here today. Prices are good, service was good and the enviroment was nice and clean. Only had the one drink so may need to drop in a time or two before I can give the coveted 5 stars. For now I’m a fan, you should try it!

Pros: — Atmosphere. As you can see from the photo, its a beautiful place. Very well designed. — Service was very good. — Wifi and a place to hook up was easy and simple. — Neighborhood place — just had that vibe of being very local. Nice. Negative: — Coffee was ok. — Limited food options to mostly sugary stuff. Unclear negative: there was some kind of nasty mildew smell coming from somewhere in the place. When I went to investigate, it seemed to disappear.

I’ve come to prefer their americanos over the drip coffee. They are very weak though, so make sure you get a couple extra shots to be as strong as most coffee shops. I get a small americano with 2 extra shots. Seems to work out great. And can I stress the amazingness of their cinnamon rolls??! Just had another one, lucked out that there was still 1 left by 5pm. Best I’ve had in the Austin area. It’s making the local Cinnabons consider changing their name to «Going Out of Business Sale»!

They are nice people. Coffee is OK. Breakfast is welcomed but the eggs are not very good. Need more exotic coffees like pure Kona and Jamaican. Need better food. eggs bad. Nice option for a meeting. I patronize to keep the place open.

The coffee is good. It is not bitter at all. The sitting is nice. They have a great laptop bench with nice stools and lots of plugs. The only downside of this location is the background music is way to loud. It is hard to talk. To do a one on one you need to go outside. Other tha the music issue it is a great location. easy to get to and they still have drip decaf… and free WiFi. The tree outside is great…

Roasters has so much potential. There are several locations around north Austin. The interior’s are nice, sofas, tables, simple but good for conversation. Nothing fancy but they are a decent shop if you are looking for an alternative to Starbucks, which I always am. Their coffee, mediocre at best. I would say like a 7 – 11, but they have upgraded and I would not want to bring 7 – 11 down a notch. It is like the coffee you get from an office coffee maker when the manager wants to save a few dollars. Watery, drip but not good beans, and rarely hot. Free wi-fi, real nice!!! Good location. Good staff.

Inside is loud and plays country music. I was hoping this was going to be a great new place that I could meet with people at, but it’s simply too loud. It’s really annoying — esp because I’m not a music fan in general, but country music makes me want slit my wrists. I’ve been here a few times. The vanilla chai latte had entirely too much milk or whatever in it. We’ve tried the coffee, not good. The only thing drinkable is the frozen frappé type drinks, but they are nothign to write home about. The pastries are decent. I was very disappointed in this place. I cannot stand Starbucks so I was hoping this was going to be great — and just a few blocks from me too! Instead, meh. I guess I’ll continue to make the trek up to Triumph Café when I want good coffee.

OK, this new loc. tested my loyalty to the original(Little Elm, Cedar Park). Big, not as comfy-cozy. Out in the middle of a parking lot. And the wonderful marble-top tables w/great chairs are not outlet-accessible for those of us with old laptop batteries! But, but, but. I got over it. The coffee is just as good. The service is just as good. I’m delighted to have two Cedar Park choices of equal merit. And there are pluses: great sandwiches, a «laptop bar» that has plenty of outlets and is a good 6 in. wider than any other anywhere, so there’s plenty of space. And the stools at that bar are more comfortable than the chairs I missed at the older shop.
