S and J Mobile Auto Repair Service

I just had my own negative experience with Sylvester Easley of S and J mobile auto repair service. I actually met syvester at the autozone by dessau and parmer intersection a couple of months back. He handed me his business card and told me he is a mobile mechanic. Well, on the 09/​21/​2012 Sylvester and I entered an agreement for him to chrome the engine compartment of my dodge pickup truck for $ 325. I was skeptical at first, but then he convinced me that he could order the parts for very cheap. I paid him $ 250 down payment and gave him my truck. Well as at yesterday, 10/​05/​2012 after all the cock an bull stories Sylvester has told as to why he didn’t get the job done. I went to his apartment to get my money back, but he wouldn’t answer the door. I said I knew he’s in the house and i was going to call the cops to come get him out, he immediately came out of his apartment and took off running I called the cops anyway. The cop said they couldn’t arrest him or do anything else since he didn’t actually commit a crime. I was adviced to sue him in court or report his business to BBB. I did go downtown yesterday and filed a lawsuit against Sylvester Easley and S and J mobile auto repair service. I wish I had done my homework by researching his business before all of this mess happened. If you need more info email me.

I called s and j to come press some new bushings in my trailing arms. He wrote me up a receipt and I paid him $ 200 and said he would be back in 45 minutes. Well he took my trailing arms to his shop along with the new bushings I bought to press them in and never came back. Through countless attempts to contact sylvester easley and many times to resolve this he will not answer his phone and the lake charles address is his brother’s address and his brother doesn’t even live there anymore. Please do not even think about calling s and j mobile automotive. I am out $ 320 plus 3 days of not having a car cause it was up on jack stands and hours of trying to put new trailing arms and pressing new bushings in myself. Please if you don’t believe me go by his business address and see if anyone there has even heard of s and j mobile automotive. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
