I attended Sacred Heart School from 1970 – 1975 K-​5th grades it was a wonderful experience I can still remember my classrooms and «open classroom» setting with the occasional brother or sister assistant teaching. There was a stern Sister principal I remember who did not hesitate to resort to dissaplinary actions including paddle spanks and ruler swaps on the hand. There was a dog that came to school with a monkey on its back. One father had a new Chevy T-​Bird with T tops. Huge campus with pretty bad meals all frozen meals.
