Smilehub Photo Booth

Sean did an AMAZING job with the photo booth at our wedding. Once the photo booth opened, it was all anyone wanted to do because it was so fun! He brought great props, and the actual photo booth was easy to use, and fit in a ton of people, since it was an open-​air booth. It was also very easy to know when the photos were going to be shot, so there really aren’t any of those photos where people are trying to prep for the next picture while the actual picture is being taken.
Along with the props, Sean also brought a black backdrop for the photos. However, when I came to the venue, he asked if he could use a cool wall at the venue as the backdrop instead, because he thought the photos would look really good with it. He was totally right, and I appreciated his out-​of-​the-​box thinking to ensure that our photos were as good as they possibly could be. I also asked him if he could remind people to put a photo strip in our guestbook and sign it after they took their photo. He did a great job doing that, and now we have a hilarious book full of photos of our guests in crazy props, with some really funny comments next to them!
Great, funny photos aside, working with Sean was a wonderful and easy experience. He was responsive, professional and super nice. He was also able to make our photo strip look great, and added our wedding logo to it with no problem.

Sean and his team did a wonderful job setting up the photobooth and allowed all of our guests to have a fantastic time! His team was friendly and made sure everyone left with the photos they needed! Would definitely recommend Smilehub to anyone looking for a professional photobooth!

Smilehub helped capture a part of my wedding day that cannot be replaced! It was such a joy to look through all the pictures afterward and simultaneously feel the atmosphere of the party and the relationships of friends and family reflected in the photos. Lighting and color of pictures looks good, 2 photo strips printed right away for guests, some props provided, electronic copies available to host post event, and email correspondence before and after the event was prompt and professional – no complaints, no regrets!

Smilehub is a pretty great emerging, local alternative to bigger photo booth companies like Smilebooth or ShutterQube.
The boxed system and setup is extremely easy to use: 1 touch gives you 4 successive pictures and the timing is adequate (not too rushed or unexpected). Props were provided and there’s no need for an attendant to monitor the booth, but Sean was around if there are any problems that occur.
The pictures print out in a strip immediately from a printer next to the booth with custom logos for the event, and the lighting is very flattering – an important note for any picture taker.
One feature I’ve seen on another instant photo booth apps is the ability to immediately tweet your picture by logging in, which is a neat idea! Would love to see Smilehub integrate this for easy future access to pictures and for the ability to live tweet our picture right after it happens!
Would definitely recommend booking if you’re interested in hosting a booth at your event and would like to support a local business!

Got the opportunity to try the Smilehub Photo Booth a couple of weeks ago at a magazine launch party.
Don’t be deceived by the size of the booth! This thing rocks an awesome camera inside and the lighting is great — very pleased with the quality prints! Strike a pose and CHEESE!
There seemed to be a slight hiccup with the equipment while we were waiting in line but it was quickly resolved by an on-​site attendant. No big deal.
