St. Davids Physical Theraphy Spine Center

The Fifth Floor is the Spine and Sports Rehab center (parking garage 2 just off of 30^th and straight up to the fifth floor).
Everyone I had gone to for spine issues always tried treating me with drugs or talked to me about surgery. My friend recommended I go see these folks and I wonder why I hadn’t done this before. Chris C., one of the main PTs in this place, showed me the McKenzie way — just to get movement in parts that were almost atrophied from shear pain. I work at a computer by day and on a farm at night. I need full movement and the ability to move around freely.
But the truly amazing thing about the entire office is that these people are so conscientious and mindful about who you are as a person, your age and your abilities in order to treat you in a way as to NOT cause more pain and alleviate the pain you have — with a cognizance that you are not always going to be able to work their system at home.
They are personable and young (mostly in their thirties) and I find it refreshing to be around freethinking individuals who are, I think, on the right track with helping people treat themselves and showing people like me exercises that actually work.
They dispel old practices while explaining why the ‘new’ way works (a system that’s been in place since the 50s, but not recognized until the 80s as an alternative way to control back pain and to obliterate pinched nerve issues).
Every question I’ve asked has been answered professionally and with an eagerness to expand on any PT topic I need to know about.
The last time I went, I could barely get out of my chair to walk into their offices, but when I left — and without the normal PT torture moves, I was able to walk fast and with a lot less pain. Just amazing work these people are doing — taking a practical and systematic approach to healing.
Excellent practices and a highly competent staff. I’m definitely a believer.

I am now finding the right people to help me deal with my Back Pain thanks to Doc Werntz, he sent me here got the ball rolling went here and was seen by Susan Hennigan MPT, DIP, MDT. she showed me some great moves that were simple yet I just never thought about. I will go see her on mon and wed and fri for now. Fully equipped gym with all need for rehab purposes.
The place is huge with garage parking on the fifth floor the staff is very helpful, even fianacial support is available it is needed when ou see 5 doctors at same time.
