This a clean location. They’re pretty fast, friendly and take a few extra seconds to make my sub taste great. I will soon become a regular if they keep sending me coupons haha

Great customer service. The reason why I give this place a four star is because the sandwich artist respected the fact that I didn’t eat pork. He went the extra step and used different gloves and knives. How nice. You never expect that from other subway restaurants.

Compared to other sandwhich restaurants such as Jimmy John’s, Jason’s Deli, and Quiznos, Subway lacks originality in both taste and menu choices. The sandwhich ingredients are boring and limited. That is, Subway has the typical, lettuce, tomato, and cheese ingredients, but all the other sandwhich restaurants have the same ingredients. Why not add some mushrooms to the mix? Also, it seems like the last time Subway had a new deal was the $ 5 footlong sandwhiches advertised quite a few years ago. There is nothing special about Subway, but people come here because amidst their hectic schedules, the sandwhiches are affordable and very convenient.

While I do not generally endorse or frequent Subway, I thought I’d try the 2-for-1 breakfast sandwich deal in April, since the deal would temper my expectations and buffer my disappointment, were it to suck in any way. And I have to say, the sandwiches were definitely disappointing. The flatbread was kind of spongy, doughy, chewy, without any tooth or pleasant texture or flavor that you’d want from a flatbread. The scrambled egg discs were super spongy and bland. The cheese was stingy and they were undertoasted. But the toasting is decided by a pre-programmed machine, so I don’t think the employee could help the fact that the sandwich was barely warmed, let alone toasted. I tried one Italian BMT, which is one of the sandwiches I can eat if I ever have to go to Subway. Didn’t work in the breakfast context. Flavor profile was odd. I also had the steak and cheese, and found the steak a bit lacking in flavor, but the biggest problem is finding toppings to complement these sandwiches. Perhaps some grilled onions and peppers would’ve helped. But Subway wouldn’t be Subway if it offered these types of ingredients, I suppose. This was a fail. No reason to stray from the tried and true breakfast taco concept.

It’s kind of on the far end of west campus but they have free garage parking which I’d say makes up for it. This location holds up to the same standards as any other subway. If you love subway already then you’ll love this location and I’d say the converse of that statement would hold water too. Of the 3 subways in west campus this one just so happens to be the furthest from me but due to their garage situation is actually the easiest one to drive to. Eat Fresh!

This place is similar to most other Subway restaurants. However, the dining area in this restaurant isn’t lit very well and that gives the place a dingy feeling. The sandwich makers tend to scrimp on the vegtables when making your sandwich. The employees are neither helpful nor grumpy. Street parking this close to downtown and the UT campus is almost non-existant. Luckily the restaurant provides free parking vouchers for a nearby parking garage. All in all, a rather unremarkable Subway restaurant — but with 20% less veggies.

Pretty danged good chicken parmesan sub. Go with the Italian Herbs and Cheese bread, which really complements the seasonings. The parking situation was a ton easier than I expected. All in all, another good lunch option near UT and the north end of the various state office buildings in the capitol complex.
