Hookers, pimps, and bedbugs. Police had to be called due to a man in the next room beating a woman who was trying to get out of the hotel room, to later seeing him try to force her into his car. Pimps stand at all hours of the night with their filthy and nasty looking tricks. The pictures below can support the bed bugs that almost chewed my husband alive. Don’t go here useless bed bugs don’t bother you, pimps are truly your friends and a good dose of hookerville is right up your alley. Don’t bring children here. But on a good note, the workers there were friendly.

I’m going to be more blunt here than other reviewers. This is a whore house they even rent rooms by the hour, I found this out when attempting to do early check in and they have me the hourly rates.
The bathroom is filthy, aged and poor quality simply painted cement with cracks and scratches. It is in a rough neighborhood so watch out for your car.
Drugs and prostitutes. I even saw two guys lingering in line outside a room waiting for their turn.
Lastly I was awoken at 6:15am by a man who was yelling at and, from the sounds of it, beating a dog. The female occupant of the room was begging him to stop which resulted in a slap. The dog apparently was challenging him which led to the dog being picked up and thrown against the wall.
I called 911 bypassing the front desk (useless) but they didn’t arrive for almost an hour. The male guest left with the dog shortly after my emergency call then came back with the dog 30 minutes after the police left.
The noise was loud but everyone ignored it.
I did see two business men and some contractors but mostly the main residents are strung out.

Service here was actually very good in regards to fixing issues if you called about something, but we can’t warn you enough about the actual fixtures and furniture of these rooms. Our office chair had half the material torn off of it and the tub was extremely outdated and worn down. The sheets seemed as if they were clean, but when you looked up close, you could easily tell they were never bleached and had black stains on them. Super 8, you have to do something about this!

This place is horrible! I stayed here because it was the only one they had available for the weekend and I know why. First of all our room was suppose to be non smoking and it smelled like smoke really bad. We were transfer to another one after complaining. We called to get extra towels and the people in front told us to find the cleaning lady for towels like really ??! Where do they do that!!! The place looks so old the comforter is like sleeping under a curtain, it’s dirty the people that stay there look sketchy. Please avoid this place it’s not worth it. Pay a little extra somewhere else !

If you’re into german cockroaches, poor service, slow/​broken internet, unhelpful staff, and dirty rooms, this place is for you. They even allow early check ins so you can enjoy these things longer.

there could be more stairwells here. you have to pay extra if you have more than one car. theft from vehicles a problem. good continental breakfast. convenient location.

Stayed with friends; our room was clean. Free wifi& breakfast. Not too bad for the pricing. You get what you pay for.

I pre-​paid a room for my college bound daughter who was driving across country. In none of their conditions did they say she needed my credit card on arrival or that there was an arrival time. She had no issues at other hotels that I had booked for her. When she arrived at 11:30 p.m. she was told she couldn’t check in without my card even though it was booked in her name and that she was considered a no show. So they turned a 20 year young woman away in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, my card was charged for the room. When I called the next day they said she was considered a no show and were completely unapologetic. They had no regard for the fact they created a safety issue. Thankfully, Bank of America was successfully able to dispute the charge and agreed with me that I basically owned the room for the night since it was pre-​paid under her name.
Additionally, My daughter said she was scared from the minute she stepped onto the property and looked like a bunch of sketchy people were around and would steal her belongings.
She was better off not staying there and thankfully, found a room elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I are not high maintenance, we’ve stayed at many 2 star hotels just because we love having spontaneous and cheap trips, so we are not expecting anything spectacular. That being said, by far was the ABSOLUTE WORST motel we’ve ever stayed at!!!
When we first walked in, we saw a random tissue paper on the night stand. That’s really gross. On top of that, the night stand didn’t even have a working lamp.
This hotel isn’t clean at ALL!
I’ve found about 2 bugs already, one crawling up my body and the other was right under the bathroom sink. Like I said, I am not high maintenance, but seriously who would want to pay close to $ 100 to sleep with bugs? Front desk offered to change rooms, but that doesn’t change the fact that there are bugs in this hotel!!! There was mold in the ceiling of the bathtub. Seriously, please do NOT stay here. It’s not worth the money at all.

The room was nice and the front desk staff was excellent. There are no bed bugs here.
But…
I had a horrible experience with one of the maintenance workers. I left a my ray-​ban sunglasses and a bracelet at the pool by accident. I came back to retrieve my items, and saw one of the maintenance guys with my glasses. It looked like he was trying them on and then put them in his pocket. I walked up and asked him if he had found them by the pool. He said yes and handed them over. I felt kinda violated that he had tried them on, and I forgot about the bracelet.
I came back to the office to ask about the bracelet about an hour later and there was no sign of it. I told the clerk about the sunglasses and how the bracelet was with it. The head of maintenance came to talk to me and said that his crew never found it. He was really oppositional about it and when I told him about the guy wearing my sunglasses, he denied that someone would do that. He was mean about it.
Yah… That guy totally stole my bracelet. This place is pretty awful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Ten bucks for each 30 min you check out late.
After two hours just book another night.

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. EVER. Roaches and the worst smell ever. I booked this room by accident not knowing there were 2 super 8 hotels in the area that both contain the name ‘University’ in them. The other hotel has better reviews — but not much. What a horrible mistake. I cancelled my second night the second I walked into the room and paid triple to stay at another hotel. It is NOT worth the price. You couldn’t pay me to sleep here. I“d choose my car, a tent, a streetbench over this place.
Disgusting.
Oh, and did I mention roaches. The kicked in bathroom door, the broken table in my room, the smell, the bed only came with a sheet so I had to use the nasty dirty comforter.

BEWARE: BED BUGS ALERT! I stayed here a few weeks ago and there were bed bugs! The bites STILL have not gone away and bother me all the time. I told the front desk they said management would call me to discuss and compensate but no one ever called. even after calling them to complain again after my trip I still got no response. DO NOT STAY HERE l. You will leave with bites and a bad customer service experience.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The first room they gave us, we didn’t have to use a key to get in– the door had been kicked in. They gave us a second room and again, we didn’t need a key to get in– the door was broken. They fixed the door, we went to eat dinner, and when we came back, we couldn’t get back in our room– the key wouldn’t work. After about an hour, they determined that the scanner was broken and had to move us to a third room. Which was by far, the worst. Marker all over the wall, no lampshade, not very clean. Obviously a back up room. The employee even had the audacity to ask that I don’t give them a bad review. She should have been hoping that I didn’t leave a review at all. I tried to contact Super 8 corporate about my horrible experience and haven’t heard anything back. This is the WORST hotel experience EVER!!!

Stay away from this place! This is seriously the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Since it was sxsw weekend we were low on options and this is the closest hotel we could find to where we were spending our weekend so we had to book. They only had smoking rooms which we were fine with. I asked the front desk receptionist if they had any non smoking rooms available so we could possibly switch and she said no and hung up on me. The carpets were stained with black dark stains all over and even the chairs. One of the lamp shades was torn from the corner, the door to the restroom was scratched and had writing on it! Everything looked unsanitary and I felt uncomfortable staying there. I’m not the kind of person to complain but after seeing the conditions the hotel was in I tried one more time to ask for another room or a discount. I went up to the front desk to avoid being hung up on again and the associate said all rooms were booked and that he couldn’t give us a discount because we booked through a third party website. In other words he said we were screwed and had to deal with it and would notify the manager in the morning. Morning came and went and no one contacted us or tried to accommodate for our inconvenience. $ 150 gone to the trash! I’ve stayed at places half the price that were WAY more luxurious than this!

Do not stay at this hotel. Very, very dirty. I would give this propery a negative rating if possible. Unfortunately, we arrived at 3 in the morning and didn’t have the option to leave. Sink had hairs in it. Long hair so it had not been cleaned. Urine on the toilet rim. Nasty stained towels. Beds probably had not been changed. (I cringe to think about it) One bed was missing a sheet and the blanket was on the bottom. The bathtub was full of lint and hair. The door to the bathroom would not close and the fan was noisy. This was a recently updated room. Needless to say we checked out as soon as we could.

I really wish I could give this place zero stars. It was literally the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. We were only there for one night and needed a place to crash after partying on 6^th St. so I guess it served its purpose.
Let me start off my saying when we booked the room the only available were smoking so I wont complain too much about the smell. I didn’t even realize smoking rooms were still available anywhere… Anyways, our room had a huge hole in the wall, the door frame was missing a part of the board (someone had obviously kicked in the door), the bath tub was covered in cigarette burns, and the chest of doors was so badly broken that you couldn’t even open them. I immediately called the front desk to tell them about the damage so I wouldn’t be charged, the clerck responded with «Oh we’re very aware so don’t worry». If you’re aware then why don’t you fix it? Absolutely disgusting, and totally not worth the $ 75 I spent! Traveler beware.

Worse hotel experience of my life. Barely checked in to the hotel, walked into the hotel room, was surprised to see the room looked decent. That is until I saw a little critter running to the other side of the bed.
Yea. No. We walked in, and then walked right back out.

This hotel had a bad odor in the room we stayed in. I don’t know what it was but it needed to be cleaned. The bathroom didn’t have a lock on the door and since there were three of us, we had to tell each other who was using the bathroom. This was the first hotel that didn’t have a lock on the door that I had ever been to.
The beds were just okay and got the job done. The ironing board had stains on it so I was hesitant to iron my shirts with it. The only good thing was the tv and even that had issues. The channels were fuzzy and there was no way we could fix it. The frig that was in the room made me not want to put anything in it because there were also some stains inside.
If you’re on a budget, then go elsewhere to pay a little bit more to stay at.
