Supergreen Solutions

With the changes in the lighting industry, our church was concerned about replacing 80+ incandescent bulbs of 6 different sizes in our sanctuary. The electric utility encouraged us to make the switch to LED bulbs using SuperGreen Solutions. After considering some options SGS provided, the decision was made to use LED bulbs in the offices, classrooms, fellowship hall, and sanctuary. Rob and Steve were accommodating in selecting appropriate bulbs and in working around our scheduled activities. The new bulbs provide a bright and clean appearance; some people said it looked like we had just painted the walls in the fellowship hall. We look forward to seeing the savings these bulbs will provide on our utility bills.

SuperGreen Solutions is awesome! Jason came out and looked at our house and energy usage, then made a report for us, with graphs and everything, detailing our energy saving options and which would give us our best return on investment. It’s obvious that Jason really loves his work and he genuinely wants to find the best solutions for each individual client.
He was very honest with us and told us what options were probably not best for our specific situation (solar, and new water heater) and what would help us the most (open cell spray foam insulation in our attic due to our low pitched (³⁄₁₂) roof and gross lack of current insulation, according to Jason’s calculations this will save us 36% per month on our electricity!!). We also had them do a few other projects– Indow Windows (very cool product and thousands of dollars less than new windows!) in our living room and bedroom to help with drafts and noise from our old aluminum windows, a solar tube skylight in our kitchen, and LED bulbs for a few of the lights we use the most.
The spray foam went in much faster than I thought, and as soon as it was finished we could feel a difference in the house and the heater wasn’t running nearly as much, we can’t wait to see how much it helps in the summer! We love all of the upgrades and feel like we’ve really made a huge difference in the efficiency of our older home for a very reasonable cost.
