Talbots

I was in this location for 15 min on Wednesday and neither of the 2 salespeople acknowledged me until I walked towards the door. They were standing at the wrap stand discussing a sale promotion, etc. I walked right past them and it was obvious that I was shopping.
It was a Pretty Woman moment as I had received quite a healthy work bonus and had planned to treat myself however, after the rude non-​service I received at Talbots, I headed straight to Nordstrom where I had a great time!

I am not a regular Talbots shopper but my shopping queen friend called to tell me about the sale here and I had to see for myself. Prices were marked down twice and then there was a 50% off the final mark down. Whoa.
The sale had begun last Monday which created a feeding frenzy and I was lookin’ at the picked over goods. Still, I found a good looking navy sweater and a navy and white boat neck top. The total was $ 30.29 for both items!
A sweet young man (yes, man!) helped me attempt to find a black dress that fit. Either it was too tight in the, ahem, chest area, or too big in the hips. This is the first time I have ever seen a male sales clerk at Talbots. And he was great! He even zipped me up once but that dress was mashing my girls so much that he had to immediately unzip it.
Today is the last day of the sale. Go ladies. Go! You may have to weed through some of the cutesy dresses, mom tops and shoes with bows but there are some incredible bargains to be had.
