I only gave them the second star because I like the people in the field. However, their customer service is in my opinion terrible. They have messed up billing more times than I can count. Their method of scheduling/​re-​scheduling is awful. if you call the customer service line, they can rarely help. They re-​route you to a specialist which is a ten minute hold. If you try to call the local office, you can’t call them directly AND when I left a message for the local office, they did not call me.

Team Terminix provided outstanding communication, customer service, and explained in as much detail as I wanted what they were doing. They provided me with a small arrival window and arrived within it. The interaction with the specialist was concise and informative. I have used Terminix now for over a year and we have not had any issues with any type of pests inside or out. I would highly recommend giving them a call as they provide all of the latest technology at a cost effective price and guarantee.

Courtesy and experience, no major issues in and around the home since contracted i.e. Proof the service is working.

All of the technicians we have had over the years have been knowledgeable, professional and personable.

The fellow who came to my house to inspect for termites was friendly, timely and courteous. What more could I want?

I’m so happy with the service I receive from Terminix. I live in an old house far from perfect and quite the easy deal for all kinds of unwanted intruders. I’ve had Terminix since I moved in and the place has been bug-​free, as has the yard. Recently, my attic became a mouse house and they came out to handle that with what I believed to be the best possible methods. I enjoy being able to use the online interface. It’s just ‘comforting’ to know that this is being taken care of — available when I need them, consistent with service, friendly and helpful — I highly recommend Terminix.

I had someone come check my home for bed bugs and termites. There was no evidence of either just my mysterious mind on google after I woke up with bites on my arm. Well needless to say I def didn’t have bed bugs but the gentleman told me I did in fact have termites inside of my home and gave me an estimate of 2500.00. He printed a graph showing point of entry for termites as well as a printed out estimate. I was going to proceed with the removal but was advised by my sister to get a second opinion. I’m totally scared of bugs so I got 4 opinions. Come to find out there were never termites in my home AT ALL. I was appalled because the exterminator from terminex insisted I have termites and to get it corrected asap. If you are going to go with this company get a few opinions before proceeding.

Terrible service. Schedule an appointment 3 times and the day of they call right before asking to reschedule. Save your money and go with a different company. Their product isn’t that good either. Constantly still having ants inside even though we kept kitchen clean and sprayed constantly.

I’ve used Terminix for years.

So annoyed and disappointed with the terrible service I’ve received here. Since day one, my account has been a mess. Wrong names, addresses, and email addresses associated with it despite numerous calls to fix these basic issues.
Not only was my account incorrectly charged which I notified then of a month ago, but I’ve received the run around since then. Today someone named Kermit Sanders called me and was incredibly unprofessional. He raised his voice, told me they performed service that was not performed, refused to listen, refused to issue me the refund that I was told was pending my previous employees, yelled that ‘we were done here’ and then hung up on me.
I will never use this company again. I expect to be contacted by an actual professional and issued a refund. I also expect to be contacted by dear Kermit’s manager to find out how he will be dealt with.

Called for a re-​spray as I have been killing spiders in the house daily,
Showed up on time, asked what the problem was and acted like we shouldn’t need to be retreated, he started spraying around the baseboards over the dog bowls then says if we had some place to put the dogs up, of course I put them upstairs and allowed him to finish. He was very rude throughout the entire visit. He went out back walked around sprayed, then came back inside after stepping in dog poop. He tracked Back through the kitchen to the front door then into the garage, leaving footprints of dog poop throughout 3 rugs, over wood floor, then in garage, I noticed and my husband let him know and he said sorry then came back into the house through the front door and out front where we told him to use the hose in the front yard to clean his feet, after that he came back inside for a signature,
So now I had to hose off back porch, wash the sprayed dog bowls, mop the kitchen floor, and hose out garage.

This is the worst most unethical company I have ever worked with. I live out of state and they called for free termite inspection. I said yes and the inspector called and said I had active termites. I said please take care of them and paid $ 1,000 to have my home treated. 12 hours later the technician called me and told me that he had treated the house and that he found NO active termites. OOOPPS! Should have checked with the weasel that lied to me and told me I had termites before you said that CHIEF! I asked to speak with a manager. This was in April. Now they are peppering me with phone calls about owing them money for quarterly treatments that I never authorized. They owe me $ 1,000 and they are asking me for more money after I cancelled my credit card. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I contacted the Terminix at 1905 Kramer Lane in Austin TX for a termite inspection. My results:
Monday 4÷22÷13 — Appointment for termite inspection between 3:00 and 5:00 PM — NEVER SHOWED UP and NEVER CALLED (as agreed when making appointment). Tuesday 4÷23÷13 — Called for new appointment for today between 3:00 and 5:00 PM — NEVER SHOWED UP and NEVER CALLED. Called to speak to manager. Lady on phone appologized and tried to contact manager. NO RESPONSE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BUSINESS. I would expect a courtesy phone call if unexpected things happen that would delay their meeting the appointment. They obviously feel differently. Very unreliable. There are plenty of reputable pest prevention companies in the Austin/​Round Rock area. Give your business to someone who appreciates it.
Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star. They don’t deserve that high of a rating. Please find another exterminator.

I, too, would give these guys 0 stars if i could. Alas…
So, last summer I hired Terminix to get rid of some carpenter ants. After three visits over the course of about five weeks, there was absolutely no progress. The several traps that were laid out caught NO ants, although I was told they should, and the ants still swarmed the problem areas in my house (mostly around plumbing).
After several occasions of being told to «just give it two more weeks», I cancelled my contract. I was expecting my costs to be refunded since the service was completely ineffective. After several months when I checked my 2012 financials, I realized I still had not received a refund, so I called customer service. Today when I spoke with an agent, I was told it was too late to get my money refunded. She told me she spoke with her manager and a regional manager (within a highly suspect 3 minutes’ time, according to my phone’s call logs) and that neither one would approve the refund after this time.

Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed in this level of service. Not only did Terminix not successfully provide the service I paid for, but simply because I waited too long to follow up, they refuse to reimburse me? Of course I acknowledge that there is a cost involved in the chemicals used and the technicians’ time – but you are in business strictly to provide a service. When a company fails to provide that service, in this case getting rid of pests within a reasonable time, the above guarantee as well as good business practices obligate them not to accept payment.

I used to do service with Ecofirst which was bought by Terminix. They have serviced my house two or three times now. The first time I forgot to unlock our back gate BUT I came home while he was still here. Now, some people are able to scale a wall and get in my backyard so I asked him if he was able to get back there and he said yes and I believed him. But he was lying to me. My front yard was wet and obviously treated but my back yard and patio were bone dry and the gate was still locked so he obviously didn’t exit through it. On the next visit I had my gate unlocked and open but was in the shower when he rang the doorbell. He completed his work in less than 10 minutes and did not go into the back yard. I’m sure this is why I am seeing adult and baby roaches in my house. I am canceling service.

DON’T WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. EVER.
If I could give these people 0 stars, I would. In fact, they deserve negative. Do not ever sign up for their services no matter how good a deal it might seem. I didn’t even start my business with them; they bought the local company that I was very happy with. I should have cancelled my contract right then and there, as I had a horrible experience with them several years before in a professional setting. Want the details? Read on…
They came for our February service while we were on vacation. They couldn’t get in to the backyard, so only ½ the service was completed. I called after coming back from vacation to have the rest of the yard completed, left a message, and never heard back from them. So I didn’t pay the bill because the work was not completed. When they finally called me months later, I explained to the representative that I wanted to cancel my contract and that I would pay ½ of the original amount since only ½ of the work was completed; I would only pay the full amount if they wanted to come and finish the work. We reached an agreement over the phone, I paid half, and she said she would cancel my account.
The very next WEEK, I had a bill on my door BECAUSE THEY SERVICED MY YARD. Seriously. So I called the office again, spoke to a woman on the phone who saw the notes on my account that it was supposed to be cancelled, and she told me she would take off all of the charges. She was the only friendly, polite, service-​oriented person I have ever spoken to there, and not because she told me what I wanted. Now I’m getting bills for the service, and their national office is calling me to collect money.
So I called the local branch again, and the woman I spoke with this time told me the other lady didn’t even have the authority to take charges off of my account! So now I’m waiting to hear back from a manager…
The WORST experience I had was a couple of years ago when they were servicing my work place. I was a manager of a café, and the owners had an account with them. We never had ANY bug problems until this one tech started servicing our account. Then we started seeing small roaches everywhere. The guy came out several times to «treat» the problem. I talked to his manager about how the issue was not going away. I talked to the service tech about how unsatisfied I was, and then he CALLED ME NAMES IN FRONT OF MY EMPLOYEES! As if they wouldn’t tell me! When confronted, he said he called me a «bucking snitch» which I laughed and asked him if he was in junior high school. I told him to never step foot in my café again.
When I told his supervisor what happened, THEY DIDN’T EVEN FIRE HIM!!! They assigned us a new technician and voila! The roach problem was gone. What kind of company chooses to employ someone like that??? Like I said, I should have cancelled my residential account the moment they bought the other company.
This company is terrible. Don’t ever do business with them.

I called the main number to get a price quote on a termite inspection. They seemed waaaay too busy and couldn’t give me a specific dollar amount. They gave me a number for Austin, but then a woman in Temple, TX answered. They have some kind of phone bank thing going on. The lady in Temple, TX was frantic sounding, but very nice. Turns out, they’re more expensive than anyone else. Not feeling it, especially with all the reviews I see here.

On June 3^rd, a sales agent from Terminix knocked on my door. I listened to the pitch and decided to give the service a try as long as I could be billed in a month in the week of July 3^rd. I was assured that this was the case and was asked for a credit card. I was also told that I could provide a VOIDED check. I did so and we scheduled an appointment for treatment.
The service was provided by an agent the next day on June 4^th. He did a fine job.
My VOIDED check was cashed on June 7^th. I found out about that on the same day and called the Terminix location. They claimed that by giving over a VOIDED check that I was agreeing to an auto-​deduction from my account. If the sales agent knew this would happen, I was lied to.
Now, I am in a one-​year deal with a company that is either clue less or has sales agents actively misrepresenting their billing process.

The initial interaction with these guys was great. I would have never signed up because I can’t justify spending money on something I can’t see. However, my husband signed up so I figured I’d give it a shot.
They treated our wasp problem on the initial call and then sold my hubby on the termite package. We were told if the wasp come back within a certain period of time, treating them again would be free. So, they came back and they treated them. They also left us a $ 100 bill. I called, irate, and was told because we don’t have a PEST package, only a TERMITE package, that the work is not covered, despite what the guy had originally told us. So, I said I wanted to cancel and wanted the bill wiped out. They said they couldn’t do that but would be willing to cut the bill in half if I would remain a customer. I agreed, knowing I would cancel shortly.
Then, I see a charge on my card for the ENTIRE year of service, rather than the monthly charge. I called again, irate, and said that I’d like to cancel. I was asked if my monthly rate were reduced… by $ 5… would I consider remaining a customer. Really, $ 5 is all you can spring? I politely said no. I was told my account was cancelled.
Yesterday, I saw a charge of $ 30 on my card. I called today and I was told that I did cancel my termite package but that my pest package still exists. I could not believe what I was hearing. Originally, I was told I never even had a pest package.
These people are FUCKING idiots, excuse my language. They should be ashamed of their lack of customer service and organizational skills. No one has a clue what is going on and they seem like they are trying to squeeze money out of people knowing that people are downsizing non-​essential services… like this one.
This company is TOO big, not local, and has no business being in business.
I will say that Lindsey in customer service was very nice and handled my issue very politely and promptly.
