Pretty good food and great location. We were pulling a trailer, and dirty from work, so a lunch truck was a good option. I got the drunken noodles, and my buddy got the pad Thai. It was pretty spicy, and fast. Pretty good, but I prefer Thai 2 U, which is not too far away. Unfortunately, Thai 2 U is no longer open for lunch, so I might come back here again… Maybe.

This is a fantastic little find in South Austin(still close to Dripping Springs). We had been making the schlep out to Thai Fresh when we discovered this new food trailer. The owner is SO nice & friendly. I’m vegan my husband is not & this is our go to place! She makes the most amazing vegan pad Thai! I’d be embarrassed to admit how often we come here but our kids love it, the menu is all yummy & she’s just charming! I love supporting local & when local is so friendly is makes us vote for Thai food all the time.

WOW what a pleasant surprise when my wife and I stopped in at our local Thai trailer. We have been eating Thai in Austin for approximately 20 years and this is far and above the best we have ever had. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp. The portions are huge and the price is very reasonably. This is the first«trailer food» that we have found that is better than any brick &mortar. Go there and enjoy great food.

Updated review: This little trailer continues to rock my world. I tend to seek out workers’ places and joints as for a long time in my past business career I HAD to eat at fine restaurants throughout the world. Night after night, day after day while I would enviously looked at simple food and places we passed. This little place is simple, serves simply, is filling and quite good in my humble opinion. The charming lady who works the trailer is from Khon Kaen City in Thailand. For those not familiar with the country, this is not along the tourist resort coastlines, but in northeast Thailand. The food is quite different in that location and there is a cross-over in some cases with Laos and former French influence. So far I have had several dishes: My most recent are: Green Curry with TOFU. $ 8.00 and comes with an eggroll. This is a simple dish that tastes nice and also actually tastes quite complex. I ordered it exactly as on the menu and it was a bit spicy but not overwhelming. KAHOMOODAENG: Lunch Special: Roasted red pork with sweet sauce served with white rice. Really good for a working lunch. I added some of my special emergency hot sauce to try it as is and then with the sweet/hot combination. Perfect for a lunch. Chicken LARB. This is a ground meat(in this case chicken) with red onions, green onions with rice and Thai chili. $ 8.00 I ordered it Thai Spicy as that is my preference and so far my very favorite dish. Thai Spicy is HOT! The serving I had was no exception, it was HOT! What is perfect about this little corner is that there is a great taco, tortas and Q place just a few steps away. Thus you can have two different tastes or one person have one thing and the second another thing. I am confident that she could cook anything from that region. She does know her food. I even asked what was the difference between LARB(on the little menu) and LAAB,(this is kind of a trick question that many Thai places where I have eaten did not know as they were not old school) and she answered immediately and correctly! Wow! I was impressed. Well done.

I decided to stop by this new Thai food truck that recently opened on 290. The lady that owns and runs the food truck is supper nice, and made me a delicious pad see ew! I also got a Thai ice tea that was sweet and delicious. It was sooo good, and this will definitely be on my list of trucks to frequent! She also has a mango sticky rice that I can’t wait to try!

I was so glad to find a new option for take out in my area, especially Thai! Conveniently located next to Gordo’s, very tasty(tried the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice), reasonably priced and generous portions, all to go along with quick, efficient and friendly service, I think we have a winner!
