The Haynes Bro’s

Very pleased with these men. Punctual, professional and prepared. From the beginning estimate to the very end, these men moved our furniture with care and consideration. We were kept updated (as we had a pick up from a store) as their trip progressed towards us. We couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. I HIGHLY recommend Haynes Bros. Moving.

I hired the Haynes Bros to do a job on New Year’s Day. I was in a time crunch and every other mover wasn’t willing to work that day. The bothers charge was fair and they showed up on time, sober, and very polite. I have used many movers and was very impressed with their care of my furniture. You can’t go wrong with these guys!

Great movers! They are friendly and they did a professional job. They are fast paced and skilled packers. Best price in town as well. They run an honest and transparent business by not trying to ride the clock and instead charging a flat rate. I would definitely recommend them and will use their services again for future moves.

I own a real estate company and have dealt with lots of movers, but The Haynes Bros are head and shoulders above the rest. My family’s move was more than a handful, but they did it with a smile and were very respectful. Super efficient. Their prices are great and they offer a flat rate so are no hidden fees or milking the clock to milk your wallet. Raymond, Deyonne, and Monroe almost felt like family when we were done with our move. Call them for your next move… you won’t be disappointed!

Raymond and Deyonne are hard workers, polite, and affordable. I have nothing bad to say about them. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and they went out of their way to help us pick up an elliptical. They packed all of our stuff in a secure fashion and everything arrived at our new house in one piece. I would definitely hire them again or recommend them to a friend.

Very disappointed… first the estimate was $ 275.00 sent an email to confirm, (since it was very reasonable — My Mistake) replied back with a higher estimate of $ 325.00. Bothered me a little, but still competitively priced, but you don’t always get what you pay for, and this case I didn’t.
1– Communication issues: Driver/​Mover did not know where the pickup address was. The during the transit called me again for drop off location. Again not really a big deal, but less than professional.
2– Forgotten Items: After explaining which items were supposed to be moved, these «noted» items were totally forgotten about. The Movers response: «Oh, I guess I should have called» Very preoccupied talking on the phone, again not very professional. I had to drive an hour back to Austin all the and retrieve a full van load of forgotten items. Upsetting to perform extra unneeded work, that i paid someone else to do, this company.
3– Lastly again being disabled I asked if it was possible to connect my washer and dryer for me, they agreed for $ 20.00… First the movers did not have any tools with them, except for a hammer and borrowed tools from me. After the «install» the work was not checked and both sides of both water hoses (Hot/​Cold) both wall side and washer side connections were finger loose and heavily leaking causing a small flood in my laundry room, kitchen and Living room carpet. Then another flood with the Washer drain that was never used so the drain cover needed to be removed instead of removing the cover the mover hammered the cover inside the drain in which cloged the drain with a full washer draining all over the Laundry, Kitchen and Living room carpet.
In short, don’t always go with the lowest quote, though I am Disabled and on a very fixed income I’ve learned my lesson with this experience. Hoping Haynes Bros. will learn from the review and improve their service.
I communicated with the owner where he promised to refund me 100% of the move and now reneging. I am not looking for a «Free Lunch» I just wanted to be treated fairly and professionally and in this case I was not.
My Opinion, look for another moving company, there are a lot of options out there to choose from and this company should not be one of them…
Update: Owner is now making excuses about this experience and calling me a Liar. Beware he maybe posting false accusations about me and my honest review in order to «Save Face» any questions about this experience please feel free to message me.

Does not make me happy for writing this review, especially for an independent businessman trying to earn a living for his family, but one should take pride in the job he is providing to the public and make sure his employees are competent to perform the job at hand.
The move was almost as bad as if they never showed up. 25% of my items left behind and 2 laundry /​living room floods, caused by installation incompetence not equipment issues. I was an still am Livid about this.

These guys are awesome! They always go the extra mile and stay and help me in my staging business as long as is needed with no complaints. They are super nice guys too. I would recommend them for your next move for sure!
