If I could give no stars I would. I went to Home Depot 3 times in one day and each time nobody was helpful. There were multiple men employees who watched me throw 20– 50 pound bags of concrete and 154×4×8 cedar posts on to my cart without stopping to ask if I needed help once. I had to ask for help out to my truck when I checked out and the young guy was a complete punk«if I can find someone I guess.» Really??? I had to ask for help it wasn’t offered at all and even at that he put no effort in to finding anybody. I took my cart outside and started loading with great difficulty, trying to flip the bags in to the back of the truck. NOBODY came out to help. Finally a few guys drove by that were shopping at Home Depot and saw me struggling stopped their van and jumped out immediately to help me load all of my concrete and wooden posts. Thank you to the strangers who saw a young lady struggling to get all of her purchase in to her vehicle. I will not be going back to this Home Depot. Lowes here I come!

The customer service I experienced at this store was some of the best ever. I called to inquire about new appliances for my new new home and had pretty specific preferences and a set budget. Julie in the appliances section found several options and packages, even working past store hours to find exactly what I needed. She also told me about their current financing promotions, which would be expiring soon, and encouraged me to visit the store as soon as I could. I visited the store the next day and met with Judy(since Julie was out), and she processed my application for a Home Depot card with their 24 months interest free promo. Then I worked with Dan to go over and check out the appliances Julie had researched for me the day before. I came away with a great new fridge, stove range, dishwasher, and range hood for a great price, with installation and haul away scheduled for a day that fits my schedule. As a first time home buyer, I don’t have much experience with home improvement or hardware stores. I came away very pleased and plan on making this my go-to location for all my home needs.

Had a great customer experience dealing with Judy Valdes-Brown yesterday. She was extremely helpful and saved us a lot of money on carpeting. I would highly recommend her if you need an HONEST sales person that is looking out for your best interest.

I love that I can bring along my pup when going to The Home Depot. This stores service isn’t the best. You usually have to track down a sales associate to help locate items, and usually they don’t know where things are. The individual working the paint counter on the particular day I visited had no clue what he was doing. I told him the square footage of the area to be painted and then returned and he had two large can of paint for a small area. I told him that was way too much paint and he said you have to buy both cans. Needless to say I only bought one and will probably not be returning to this location.

A majority for Home Depots are similar, the products, etc. However this location has horrible service. Good luck trying to find someone to help you. Last time we visited this location the paint guy was a jerk and tried to take advantage of my fiancé by selling here two gallons of pain to paint a 60 sq/ft ceiling.

I’ve been to this location many many times and the staff at this Home Depot location is the best out of any hardware store that I’ve been to. Thank you all for the great service.

First, the negative. This Home Depot is a bit complicated to navigate. Various items are all over the place and often in places where you wouldn’t look.(The lids for the Homer buckets are in the paint department, but the buckets are on display all over the store.) But why I love this Home Depot is simple. A simple, unassuming fellow named John. My friends and I came in with a list of random items that we needed to restock our fire station. Not only did John know where every item was, he insisted on taking us to each item and helping ensure that we got exactly what we needed, even getting one item down from a high shelf for us. I’d chalk it up to one great employee, but the greeter at the door as well as the cashiers seemed to be this pleasant and helpful as well. Please, clone this location.

I came here for some energy saving bulbs and a new 4 prong cord for my dryer. I got here at opening and orange aprons was abundant, but clearly not proactive with customer interaction in the morning. It was as if they though they had the power of invisibility as they walk pass my pacing self trying to find the right bulb. It didn’t help that the light comparison display was off. Thirty minutes in to complete my shopping for my power cord, I went to the customer service desk and was lucky enough to get some decent assistance, before all of the employees at their morning meeting. It’s Home Depot I’ve worked at the one in Manhattan before many moons a go, however servicethere was a focal point, but I know how it can be in big box store. Can’t live without them, so you get what you get for better or for worse.

Very friend people work here, good selection of what you need, plenty if parking and never really busy. They offer 10% off for military too. The store is clean, and they have a great selection of flowers, grills and patio furniture.

I love this location. Right off 620 in Four points. All I can say is Dan is the man. The man for all your appliance needs. If you’re looking for a fridge, washer and dryer or even just need to know some more information, ask for Dan. Tall guy. Really tall. Can’t miss him. And smart as a whip. If you’re looking for efficiency he can show you. If you need to compare prices, he’s your go to. Wondering about specs? He knows all about cubic feet in any fridge there. We’ll bring our business back.

I love Home Depot because it carries Behr paint. The new Ultra paint is the bomb! I needed to paint turquoise blue over a dark purple wall. The paint guy talked me into buying the Ultra because it saved me $ 19 to not have to buy Kilz to cover the dark color. He was so right! The coverage was amazing! The color is perfect. I was done in a flash. Soap and water clean-up. It seemed pretty expensive at $ 32 per gallon but actually saved me money and time. It was running a rebate at the time, too. The store is very tidy and the people in other departments were equally helpful and friendly. This location is doing a good job.

The service at this Home Depot is stellar. Every time I visit, in the midst of my wanderings through the store, multiple friendly employees ask if I’m finding everything I need, ask if they can help, or at least smile and say hello. When I’ve actually needed help, they’ll stop and help me find what I need or solve my problem. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks work here. The outdoor garden area has improved in selection and in care of their plants, so I’ve managed to find some good landscape plants here. The vegetable garden section is good as well, though sometimes lacking in variety. If you need help loading heavy stuff outdoors, you might have to ask and wait for someone, but they’ll do it. One thing I love about this store is that it’s well organized, which makes it easier to find things I need. I’ve visited a few other HDs lately, and they made this one look even better. They may have less inventory than some other stores, but at least it’s clean and well-displayed. Only grandpa really knows what’s in his garage and where to find it, right? The rest of us young’uns have to ask.

Last month I tried to find a way to cut slots in metal lids on my own with no luck. I am the co-captain of a charity fundraiser and we needed donation buckets made but didn’t have the right tools to safely get the task done. I called the Pro Desk at the Home Depot at 7900 North FM620 in Austin(the Four Points location) and spoke with Mike. Mike was very nice and just said to bring the pails in and he would take a look to see if they could cut the lids for me. The next day I brought them in and worked with Craig, Mike and Jack at the desk. Within a day these slots were done. They were so happy to help us and very kind to us. I really appreciate their charity efforts because without them I never would have gotten the job done. Thanks to the ProDesk for being so supportive to the community. ~Angela O’Mahony Co-Captain for Team MorGame JDRF Walk To Cure Juvenile Diabetes

It’s seems strange to Unilocal about Home Depot, right? Home Depot is Home Depot… I sure hope so. Since purchasing an older house in a nearby neighborhood last year I’ve spent more time and more money at this Home Depot than I could have ever imagined. From paint to lumber to plumbing and electrical I think I’ve hit every department. Everyone has been incredibly kind and out of their way helpful. I do typically prefer to support local places but when you get a «mom and pop» service at the chain it’s difficult to go anywhere else. My most recent experience galvanized my affection for this group of orange apron wearing folks. My son turned 5 yesterday and we had some strange requests and needs for our friends at Home Depot to pull off his themed party. Once again, the staff went above and beyond to help us make his party special. Great job Home Depot!

A few years ago I was seriously disappointed in this store. Lately they have been great. They greet you at the door and will help you find what you are looking for. They were awesome with helping me find a faucet and advice on doing it myself.(full disclosure I got help) Lately I have been to the lawn and garden area and they have been friendly and helpful.

I switch favorite Home Depot locations about every 3 years. This is my current favorite as it’s still relatively new, which means it’s clean, not crammed packed on weekends and the staff hasn’t been broken by years of horrible treatment by the general public. Standard Home Depot product selection, lots of «experts» in the store that are interested in your projects and help you find what you need. Lumber guys have been really good to me lately with lots of special cuts without charging me extra. Usually running a popcorn machine weekend mornings and the greeters/front-end managers are really super cool people. Never had a problem they weren’t willing to solve, never had to fight over a faulty product or price error, they just fix it and keep me coming back. Job well done — hoping I can keep this store as my favorite for a long time.

So I had read the review below me and was not expecting anything good when I walked in there with the hubby. We went to get a showerhead and look at hardwood flooring as we want to change the upstairs to all hardwood. As we walked in we were greeted and asked what we needed to locate. Within a few mins someone came and took us to the hardwood flooring and left. We looked around and someone else came and asked if we needed help(wow) and we had a few questions which he gladly answered. He even made different suggestions and walked us to where the showerheads were. Overall: I was taken aback by how helpful and nice they all were… even back in CA, they are not helpful and no where to be found when needed.
