PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I have never lived anywhere and felt I had to leave a bad review. I moved here from over 10 hours away for a new job and the application process was fine. However, my
Move in date got pushed back 3 times causing me to stay in hotels or with friends. Finally when they said my apartment was ready there was a big burn hole in the middle of the kitchen floor that they said would be repaired they were still waiting on the new flooring to come in (it’s still there!!)…next the apartment I was suppose to have was suppose to have all hard floors well I ended up with wet carpet that had dog hair everywhere and they said I was going to have to pay to get it clean. Believe me at this point I was ready to call it quits but I was told my deposit along with first months rent that I paid were non refundable. They agreed to pay $ 50 to have the carpet clean and I came out of pocket for over $ 100 more just to have clean carpets and then I had to wait two more days for the carpet and apartment to be throughly cleaned and the carpet to dry before I could move my stuff in. The u haul had to be turned in so I had to move all my furniture and things into a garage and then from the garage into the apartment! Fast forward… the after care is a joke a child almost drowned in the pool over the summer, the manager called me at work harassing me about purchasing snacks when I delivered snacks all the time and bought things for any party they were having and donated movies for the kids to watch, packages that get delivered and show they are signed for are never in the office and nobody knows what happened to them, there is only one dumpster that is always overflowing and disgusting, outside my apartment there is always liquor bottles or beer cans on the grounds, the police have been over here at least once every month since I’ve moved in, the manager has the worse attitude EVER! Don’t waste your time nor your money dealing with these apartments

The whole deposit stealing and rent money stealing is flat out ludicrous. How has anybody not sent the police down there to question the handful of clueless women they call a staff. They literally are stupid and you would think they just started YESTERDAY. soooooooo glad we «didnt get approved» to live in that shit hole. Get your head out of your asses ladies, your not there just to collect a check and steal.

Before moving in I read a few nasty reviews and thought to myself– It can’t be all that bad!- but it is. It really is! I will try to be more specific with the problems. I don’t even know where to start. During the leasing process everything was great– but that is where it ends. When we moved in we had to replace EVERY single light bulb in the apartment, the a/​c filter was disgusting and the carpet was full of dust and debris. We didnt want cable but needed internet. After trying to set it up through time warner I was told by them that the leasing office had to connect the service first. I asked them to hook it up and I was told that there was no way they were connecting the cable if I didnt agree to pay them $ 48 monthly for the entire lease. So no cable internet unless you pay them for cable. The water bill took several months to arrive and it was a decent price I was pleased with it, then all of the sudden it more than doubled one month. I kept tract of these bills and the usage was almost the exact same! Then one month we used more water (according to the bill, which is generated through the corporate office) and the bill was half as much! Something isnt right with the way they bill for water and sewer. When we finally did get our first water bill I paid it the next day — fast forward a month, I started getting balance due notices after I paid my rent and current months water. I had to go down there several times– with proof that I had paid every cent billed to me– to even get someone to look at it. After hassling the management — which at this point had change several times– we finally discovered that they had applied my payment to the wrong account. Problem solved right– NO I had to go down there 2 more times to get it fixed. Then I was getting balanced due notices for a late fee! Yes they charged me a late fee on my rent because they misplaced my payment. They would not remove it– This came from someone in corporate. So I paid it to keep my rental history in good standing. They basically stole that money and I found out it is still in my records that I paid something late.
If you are fortunate enough to be in the first building, you will have some peace and quiet because it seems that all the unsupervised children live in the further back buildings, you will have to haul your trash in your car. There is one place for trash and it is a compactor that is NEVER not overflowing. I mean like trashed piled up in the sidewalk and grass area– its so gross I couldn’t imagine the bug and animal problem there must be in the buildings close to it.
The pool was closed most of the summer and when it was open it was this disgusting shade of green. At one point there was a sign from the health department on the fence.
Random apartment searches to make sure that your home isn’t dirty or in violation of code– searches that they will have no problem doing while you are not there.
Ants galore! I have not seen a rodent thank god.
The maintenance people seem great but I can’t imagine what its like to work for such incompetent management and I am sure they do the best they can. The newest manager Tammy– talks to everyone like they are 3 years old and is probably the best eye roller I have ever seen.
These apartments are tax credit and there is an income limit to get in, but I dont not care how much you make or dont– EVERYONE deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. If I knew where to go and who to talk to to get something done about this place I would. You totally get what you pay for here.
