Our primary practice areas are business formation and startup, civil litigation, criminal defense, wills and trusts, mediation, real estate law, and divorce, child support, and child custody. Meet the Business Owner

Travis S.

Business Owner

Travis M. Smith is a member of the State Bar of Texas, providing counsel and representation in a variety of legal areas. He is also a REALTOR® and certified mediator. Travis earned his law degree at The University of Texas School of Law. Travis is an honors graduate of The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.

Before opening The Smith Firm, Travis held a number of business and legal positions. Most recently, Travis practiced at Philips & Philips, L.L.P. in Austin, Texas. During law school Travis clerked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Washington, DC and Joel B. Bennett, P.C. in Austin, Texas. Travis has also held internships at a number of corporations, including IBM, Tivoli Systems, and Minyard Food Stores.
