Don’t ever use the contracting service 4 month in and still not complete right. Cabinet refinish is already coming off after less then a month. They now have to refinish it or they say they can wait and see how it holds up. So if the stain is chipping off in less then 30 days in 6 months it will look like a disaster. One of the fake decorative drawers on the sink cabinet was stapled on and now hanging off one side. They also over sprayed my tile, wall, pantry door, and stainless steel stove. There contractor does not communicate anytime a problem comes up I send pictures and email and I have to wait days to reply. They are supposed to come finish tile work today but no time was given so I don’t know what time they will be here. They seem to want to do the work 1 day a week so maybe another 4 month this will be complete

I have to agree with the bad reviews here. The only reason Steam Team was used in my home was due to my home insurance company, USAA. They obviously have a contract with them or something, as when we had a flood in our home they sent out Steam Team to do the water mitigation. A few things went wrong, they did not take the wet, moldy carpet(that their estimate had and was paid for by my insurance), and they left one of their fans here by mistake when done. I called them to come back and pick it up, which of course they did. Our insurance company wanted us to use them to replace the flooring that was flooded, uh no thanks. I am not using a carpet cleaning company to replace my floors, boy was I correct in using my common sense. We winded up hiring a contractor to do it, and get the money from USAA to help pay for it. Now on to our next flood, which just happened this year in our upstairs bathroom. This time USAA sends out Steam Team again. Water mitigation fans come back, and they forgot to turn on two of them(!!), luckily it is flipping a switch, which I did, but seriously?! We decided to go ahead and use them as USAA suggests we do(again, obvious contract or something) to replace our carpet and fix the walls. Unbelievable how they are in business, as the work was shoddy at best, and looked awful. And to top it all off, they would never give me any warning on when they would be at my house. Most people have a life and are not sitting around all day waiting for workers to stop by. I would NEVER recommend this company and will NEVER use them again. They promised me a free steam cleaning to my carpets for my trouble, no thank you.

Once again if I could give this company LESS than one star I would!!! Evidently my landlord doesn’t hire companies that do what they say! First the make ready company, now these jokers! So here’s the long drawn out story, that is still ongoing after a month! The Steam Team was hired to clean the carpet in the 2-story duplex I put a security deposit down on Jan 1. The week of January 23 my landlord finally got off of his ass and hired 2 companies to come in and make ready the place and steam clean the floors. Neither was done correctly and I should NOT have moved my family into this disgusting nightmare that we are now living in. On Jan 27th we did a final walk through and the place was DISGUSTING! A barn sitting in the Texas heat would smell better! So he called in his ‘flooring guy’ to come and check it out. This guy met me here and immediately said the carpets needed to be replaced, and the downstairs needed to be steam cleaned and the whole place needed an enzyme treatment. Why didnt the jerks that came in and supposedly steam cleaned the carpets notice this? All of the carpet was eventually replaced upstairs the next week. So 2 weeks ago, after my landlord called the Steam Team back to setup service for the tile and grout downstairs, I called and spoke with«Andrea» and setup an appointment to have the floors steam cleaned and treated. The guy showed up on time(first call of the day last Thursday) and he did a great job, unfortunately, he discovered that some other dip-shit, probably my landlord, had sealed the floor with a silicone sealant that he could not remove and he advised that the floor needed to be acid stripped and sealed correctly. They sent over the QA manager so he could confirm and I was told he would get it approved with the landlord. He did and I called back in that afternoon to schedule the acid stripping for Tuesday Feb 28. I rearranged my sons school schedule and Monday we again moved ALL of the furniture out of the living room and shoved it into the garage where it is still. The man that showed up at my house at 1145am, not the 2pm scheduled time, had no idea that he was supposed to be doing the job at that time. He told me that he was only here to do an evaluation of the floor. NOTONCE when I was on the phone scheduling this did«Andrea» ever mention that this appointment would only be an evaluation! This place does not know how to keep anything straight! Nor do they know what good communication is! I’ve called again this morning to find out when they think they are going to schedule the service I was supposed to get yesterday and the manager is in a meeting. How convenient! I would NEVER hire this disorganized, unprofessional company!!!

Seriously disorganized. Got my address wrong, showed up 4 hours late for appointment. Only offered me 10% off for the mess up. Will definitely never use again. Also, beware the upsell. They will try and charge you an extra $ 50(FIFTY!!) for some odor cleaning enzyme solution that you could buy yourself for a fraction of the cost. total waste of money.
