Established in 2008.

The Wedding Theater was started in late 2007 in Austin after multiple soon-​to-​be Brides saw the Highlight films Jonathan produced for his sisters weddings earlier that year, and asked if he would be interested in filming their wedding as well. Jonathan started doing film work during college at Texas State University where he obtained a degree in Directing. After filming his sisters’ weddings, Jonathan decided to give Wedding films a try as a side job.

Early on, the reaction from our clients proved The Wedding Theater would never be a part-​time hobby. Jonathan brings a certain artistic touch to his direction that is rarely seen throughout the industry. With multiple camera angles, we edit together the HD film quality footage for an exciting, emotional production that is tailored to your specifications. Now, not only do we do Austin and Texas weddings, but our company has expanded to destination weddings as well. We have been all over, most recently in the Riviera Maya part of Mexico.
