I always go to Twin Liquors when I need wine suggestions, especially when I am trying to stay under a certain price range. Without fail I am always given fantastic suggestions within the price range I need. They never try to get to me spend more or buy stuff I don’t need. Highly recommend this store. The staff are always so nice.

Even though I am a SPEC-a-holic, Twins can have some of the best two for deals around! I got two decent sized bottles of Bushmills 2 for $ 30, and that was cheaper than the competition. There is always someone sampling something here, too, right up at the front, and they are always super cool about it! The 2 for whatever deals are the way to go here, especially when you like something that is pretty popular, drink-wise… I am thirsty, now, ha.

Only place in Austin where I’ve bothered to purchase liquor so far. Every time I go in, the employees are friendly, and they don’t hassle me over my ID like some places will.

Loves this place. Employees are polite and helpful. It’s a beautiful little store. Too bad I rarely buy a bottle of anything.

I’d read on this site that Whip-In was the best place for wine. I tried it, wasn’t crazy about it. Twin Liquors will now be my wine store! It’s in the kind of location where you’d think there might be nothing but beer and some beef jerky on the counter. No way! This is a well-stocked, clean, classy store, with all sorts of great wine at amazing prices. Love it!

2 for $ 15 Zinfandel? Whoa! I have driven past Twin Liquors a million times, but it never occurred to me to actually go in. I stopped in last week after work to pick up a bottle of wine on my way home. I had no idea what a mecca this was! They have all kinds of crazy«2 for» specials. It made me so happy. It seems like they buy in bulk so they can pass the discounts on to the customer. A pretty nice selection of wines, most at great prices. Now, they don’t have as many boutique wines like Grapevine Market, but still a great stop when I don’t want to drive all the way up north. Or, if I just want to fill the wine fridge with some decent, moderately priced bottles. I didn’t browse the liquor section, so I can’t really report on what they have to offer on that side of the store. Definitely a hidden gem.
