Unbridaled

Unbridaled is amazing! The staff there makes all the difference. I called to make an appointment for their sample sale, and they recommended that I come in before the sale to find styles, fits, and designers I liked, so I could come in on sale day knowing what I was looking for. This was great advice. After the pre-​appointment, I walked into the sample sale knowing what I wanted, and I walked out with an amazing dress for a great price! I worked with Lindsey at the pre-​appointment and the sample sale. She was wonderful – it was like working with friend. I highly recommend Unbridaled!

Words cannot do this place justice, you have to go and experience it to feel how absolutely amazing this store is! This was my second place I went to try on wedding dresses and nothing has compared to how unique, fun, welcoming and radical this place is. Lindsey was my bridal consultant and she just crushed it. No one else compares as she has set the bar high for exceeding any and all expectations that you will ever have. She knows her dresses, she picks up on your style, she just knows how to make you feel right at home. I practically wanted to invite her to my wedding as she is just that cool! She had fun with my experience dress shopping and I totally felt at ease. I actually found my dress elsewhere and the one thing I was most upset about is that it wasn’t at Unbridaled! This store rocks and you will truly do yourself a disservice if you do not check this place out!

Imagine that a group of your BFFs own a bridal store. Okay, now imagine they have the most diverse, eclectic, glamorous assortment of gowns. NOW, imagine that they give you the price hook up that only a BFF could. Still with me? Well that my friends, is a snapshot of the Unbridaled shop & experience!
I tried on dresses at several other Austin area boutiques and wedding dress stores and everything I was trying on was overpriced and/​or bland. OR the service was terrible! The stores with the inexpensive gowns were… dare I say ratchet. And the staff members in the stores with the Pinterest replicas were bougie! I was literally so discouraged in my wedding dress search that I was at the point of googling ‘white prom dresses’ and ‘quinceanera dresses.’ Yes the struggle was THAT REAL! LOL! Then I received an email newsletter from Unbridaled about a sample sale. I called them and they explained to me that meant 70%+ off of designers they were no longer planning on carrying. **PAUSE** Get on that email newsletter list asap via their website ladies!!! **UNPAUSE** I signed up for the earliest appointment on the sample sale day and literally the first dress I tried on was THE ONE!
This shop hands down has provided the best customer service, the best pricing, the best quality, and the best assortment of dresses IN AUSTIN! I purchased my dress and veil from them and they also gave me a referral for my alterations. Look no further brides!

I am so happy I came here! I have been eyeing this place since I met my fiancé I knew this is the place I wanted to shop at. They were beyond helpful and my consultant was freakin amazing!
This dress shopping experience was extremely emotional, due to the fact my best friend passed away almost three week ago from cancer. We had this planned to shop and my mom was traveling in for it. I wanted to reschedule to be honest but everyone thought it would be nice to go and kind of get me out of my funk.
I got overwhelmed and started bawling in the middle of the store just thinking about my friend not being there. Everyone was so sweet, got me tissues, and some water. I decided I didn’t want to pull dresses I just wanted them picked and it was so nice. I was unsure of what style I had wanted and since it was my first time was not sure what would look good on me. My consultant knew EXACTLY what she was doing.
After trying on what seemed like half the store, my consultant pulled the last dress which is the only one I walked out and said, «I’m in LOVE!» We had champagne and it was wonderful. I am so glad I picked here to go shopping for my gown. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I used to live in Austin and flew in to go to Unbridaled with two of my best girlfriends to pick out a wedding dress about a year ago. Unbridaled is incredible and I would recommend them to anyone! They will work with any budget and think outside the box! I wanted a short dress for our beach wedding. I ended up buying a bridesmaid dress in white and had it altered. It was perfect! And significantly below my budget. The dress was shipped to me San Francisco and even better, it transported well on our flight to the Caribbean for the wedding and then our adventure honeymoon through Costa Rica. If you’re looking for a wedding dress, go to Unbridaled for all your bridal needs! All of the staff are great and very helpful!

If you go to Unbridaled, request Eileen. I can’t say enough good things about her– she’s a gem! I had a friend who had gone to Unbridaled a few weeks before and raved about Eileen. When I arrived at Unbridaled on Saturday, I had spent the entire day trying on wedding dresses. I almost called to cancel my appointment because I was feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. Eileen made me feel so comfortable– she has a very easy going personality and made a lot of jokes. The dress I ended up getting was not a dress I would have chosen off the rack. She suggested that it would be flattering to my body type, and at that point in the day I was willing to try anything and everything. Eileen didn’t pressure me at all which I appreciated because I had experienced that at other shops. My mom and I were so happy with our experience at Unbridaled.

This was my first and third shop, and the place I found not just one, but THREE dresses I loved (let’s be honest, if my budget was limitless I would have found many, many more dresses to love!). They have the best variety and something to fit any budget. The shop has a great modern, cool layout that really caters to making a bride-​to-​be feel special. Lindsey made an overwhelming and emotional experience fun, and they have good intuition and sense about what works best with your vision for your day.
Kelsey helped me when I drove by to try on my choices a second time, and she was equally awesome! She found The One and closed the deal. I’m so happy with my dress.

We started with a new girl. The store should work harder on training. We asked for a more experienced person, which they were willing to provide.
This place is very average on service and selection. Also for some reason Unbridled was unwilling to accommodate our needs to check for in stock dresses. I would Unbridled a 2.5 if that was an option. (Review by wife, sister and mom.)

I came here because they sell the designer I wanted (Stephanie James Couture). The particular dress I wanted was not among the dresses they had so they got a sample sent to the store. As soon as I tried it on I knew it was the dress. They kept in touch with me to keep me updated on when the dress would be ready and they gave me great suggestions for alterations. They even gave me great advice for shipping a dress (I had a destination wedding). They were fun to work with and they made the process easy. I didn’t try on many dresses here since I went in knowing what I wanted but it looked like they had a wide variety of dresses and accessories. Thanks, Unbridaled! My dress was perfect!

I bought my wedding dress from Unbridaled and LOVE it! It’s the ONLY place in Austin with unique dresses. My dress is a Rue de Seine, and is very different and unique from typical «bridal» dresses. i’m not into big poofy dresses, and our wedding was a boho theme, and Unbridaled had amazing boho dresses that are one of a kind. The staff at the store is super nice, and I found our florist and my alterations person from them!

This is a cute botique bridal shop. They were kind enough to go ahead and help us, even though we showed up about an hour before our appointment.
They have a lot of unique, amd designer, dresses. There are private areas, with curtains, for the bride to try on dresses.
The staff was very helpful and accomodating! We were even provided glasses, instead of the disposable cups we were using, to drink mimosas while my soster tried on dresses.
Awesome place!

This is the only place to go to shop for your big day. I live in San Antonio and went to one shop there, then decided to take the drive up to Austin with my Mom to continue our search. Our first place we stopped at (smaller place in a cute little house– starts with a B, you can probably guess which one) was very disappointing. The girl there said I could only pick 5 dresses to try on. Then we went into a small room where I tried on dresses with my Mom and the salesgirl. Not a great experience. Feeling downtrodden we stepped into Unbridaled. WOW. Emily greeted us warmly and then without pressure or time constraint allowed me to look through and pick out dresses while she carried each to the fitting room. She helped me try (and even re-​try some!) all the dresses I picked with a smile. No pressure, just a great experience. I found my dress here! 5 stars all around for Unbridaled.

My experience with Unbridaled was absolutely wonderful. Although I didn’t end up getting my dress here, Lindsay made my first dress shopping experience an absolute breeze. I had an idea of what I was looking for but was definitely open to trying new things, and Lindsay brought lots of different styles out for me to try to help narrow the field. She also made me feel totally comfortable getting dressed and undressed in front of a complete stranger (her, of course). She was unpretentious, down-​to-​earth, and only pulled dresses within my price range.
They take walk-​ins, but I highly recommed scheduling an appointment with Lindsay. Good luck with your dress search, brides!

I loved everything about Unbridaled.
The staff were incredibly nice, helpful, and never pushy. I do not wear a lot of dresses and I definitely do not wear fancy dresses — I honestly had no idea how to begin wedding dress shopping! I went to a few other bridal shops before Unbridaled but never went anywhere else after my first trip there.
The staff made sure I knew where to find dresses in my price range, they gave great feedback and opinions about dresses I tried on. I felt truly at home in Unbridaled — like I could take as much time as I needed to decide.
I found my perfect dress at Unbridaled and it was truly a pleasure to shop and buy my wedding gown here.

I decided to check out this salon after going to a couple of salons in San Antonio. This salon definitely had a wide range of styles, designers, and prices to choose from. I as assisted by Lindsey and she was extremely helpful. Thanks to her I fell in love with a dress that was way out of my budget. I didn’t buy that dress, but I did enjoy wearing it for the 15 minutes or so they let me!
All the ladies at the salon were extremely helpful and provided a lot of feedback both positive and negative! I would definitely recommend any bride to check out this salon.

After trying a few other wedding dress places around Austin, I felt the most comfortable at Unbridaled. I first visited Unbridaled about 7 months before my wedding to try on a few dresses but nothing really stood out to me. So I went back a second time with no luck. They suggested I return for the sample sale a few months later and I found the perfect dress on sale!
While this process sounds easy, it wasn’t. I own like 2 dresses that i never wear, so needless to say I was pretty clueless about how a wedding dress is supposed to look/​feel. Luckily, I had Lindsay in my corner. She made me feel comfortable to ask random questions, was patient with me and my indecisiveness, and gave me her heartfelt opinions (super important for wedding dress decisions!).
In summary, Lindsay and the other staff at Unbridaled are fantastic. They have a great selection of wedding dresses and accessories as well.

This was the very first place we shopped for a wedding dress and I shouldn’t have even bothered going to others after that! The girls at Unbridaled are so nice and helpful and incredibly easy to work with (which is not the case at other bridal stores I can assure you).
I must have gone into that store a million times: initial search, return to try on/​purchase, look at earrings, try on shoes, pick out a veil, pick out a hair piece, pick up the veil, pick up the hair piece, pick up the dress, etc etc etc. And every time the girls there knew me by name and were eager to help.
They are also one of the few stores in the country to carry the designer who makes the dress that I chose, which I love.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Unbridaled and their staff. Go there, you will love it, and don’t bother with any other bridal stores in town.

Our entire experience here was quite excellent. From the moment we entered we were greeted with a smile and a comfortable and friendly demeanor. The entire vibe of this store is casual yet professional, laid-​back without being stuffy and stale like other places can be.
The dressing area is communal, four rooms total, so if that bothers you this won’t be your place. There was something cool about getting encouragement and hearing compliments from other people and it made the whole experience more of a social event. They have music playing as well which keeps the atmosphere more lively.
The lady who helped us really understood what my sister was looking for and made some good contributions and suggestions of her own. She even introduced us to different dress ideas and accessories we had never even heard of. The dresses range from $ 300-​$ 6500 and with the variety there seemed to be something for everyone. In fact, all the other women there were trying on a completely different style of dress which proved just how individual and unique dress shopping can and should be.
They have a few racks of bridesmaid dresses which you are welcome to try on as well. From what I saw, the majority were in the $ 120-​$ 250 range with books full of colors and dresses sorted by maker.
It’s also an added bonus that you can just walk in on weekdays without an appointment. Overall, my sister and I were extremely satisfied with our whole experience here and I would definitely recommend this place for those looking to tie the knot!

The ladies at Unbridaled are top notch. I wanted a Jenny Packham dress for my big day so I had to go to Houston to get it. When it came time for accessories I found that many of the vendors in Austin would not even speak to me because I didn’t buy my dress from them.
That was definitely not the case with Unbridaled. Not only did they end up selling me all of my wedding day accessories, but also belts and jewelry for my other wedding-​related events, my mom’s dress for the wedding, my veil, my bridesmaid’s hair pieces and more.
They always acted excited to see me when I came in and they really had good ideas. I was going for an Art Deco vibe and they hit it dead on. Everything they sold me was high quality and if I had something in mind that they didn’t have on the showroom floor there would be an email in my inbox with pictures and pricing the moment I got home.
I would recommend Unbridaled hands down. It was a great experience.
