Always great service! Never overcharging your for things especially without your consent! I will always bring my pet here, and would definitely reccomend this vet for all of your animals needs.

Have come here on two different occasions after my sweet dog tore her declaw partially off which was causing a lot of pain. Both experiences were fantastic. The Dr. both times was super nice, quick, and understanding, only charging me for the things she had to. I’m super appreciative, and will continue to use this place!

I overall had a great experience here! My dog is 10 years old and I have never been able to get her nails cut due to her freaking out. But they were able to handle my dog gently enough to cut her nails. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I’ve been using Dr. Wadhwani as my Vet for the past 6 years. First for my elderly cat who lived to be 21 years old. Dr. Wadhwani was always kind and carrying. She always takes the time to explain everything and ensure all your questions are answered and you understand all your options. I’ve never felt rushed or like she didn’t have time for me. On the contrary, I’ve left feeling guilty for taking up so much of her time. After our beautiful Rainbow passed away, I adopted a puppy and 8 months later, I decided to get her a sister. I now have two 15 month old female Border Collie/​Lab mixes who are both rescues.
Dr. Wadhwani has taken care of Sunshine since she was 8 weeks old. My Sofie was a year old when I got her. Every time we go to the Vet, I know we’re getting the best care possible. Dr. Wadhwani isn’t one of those doctors who tries to add on as much as she can to get as much money as she can. Quite the contrary, she tries to be as thorough as possible while also considering the fact that we have 2 dogs. She knows it gets expensive.
Dr. Wadhwani is part of our family. We love her and we’ve very grateful for her love and care. We always recommend her to everyone we know. Dory, who’s been on reception, at the front desk since we’ve been clients, has always been very sweet, accommodating and she always remembers all my girls. You can tell she really loves animals. She understands us being crazy animal parents who worry about our girls like anyone does their human babies. She’s never met me feel crazy or wrong for having concerns, worries, etc. I truly appreciate her being there and being so kind and efficient.
The office isn’t fancy and brand new like some offices I’ve visited. That being said, I’d rather have a down home place that wasn’t fancy with excellent care than have a fancy office with a doctor who wants to charge a fortune and only spend 10 minutes with me. No thank you! I’ll stay with Dr. Wadhwani!

I have been taking my cats here for 12 years. Mostly annuals and teeth cleanings, but we have had some other issues (caught tail in door and needed stitches, urinary tract issues, and a few other minor things). They have coupons but even without them, they are well priced. There is nothing glamorous about their office, but they are open 7 days a week, have friendly staff and are open til 9pm during the week.

This place is gross. Like so disgusting the first thing I said to my husband when we walked in was «Let’s go.» We decided to give it a chance (despite the smell and generally gross atmosphere) and waiting an hour before they took us back. When they finally got us into the closet size (LITERALLY CLOSET SIZE) room we waited some more, and a seemingly inexperienced assistant came in to take my cats temperature, who was freaking out because she could hear at least 2 other animals SCREAMING. 0 privacy, the vet (who was the only one who radiated any sort of professionalism) came in for maybe 3 minutes, gave us a prescription without telling us anything about it and then sent us on to the receptionist. As we waited, she was on a personal call and would answer the work phone and say «hold» and switch back to her conversation about her lunch and how cold it was outside.
The fact that I paid $ 70 to visit this garbage hole is frustrating and I’m hoping I can save someone else from this experience.

I’ve taken both my dogs here since their first shots. Savita always smiles, but I’m more afraid she remembers me from that time I cried when they had to put one to sleep for a teeth cleaning. Dori is fabulous, knows my dogs, and is always the voice I want to hear when I call. She is very personal and kind! The staff is phenomenal, and remember me and my dogs.

We have been clients of Wells Branch Pet and Bird Clinic for well over 10 years. The vets and staff there have always been friendly, helpful and understanding, especially when we have had to make difficult decisions about our pets. I once rescued a senior cat whose family had just moved into our neighborhood. The animal had gotten out and was confused as to where he was supposed to be. Since he was micro-​chipped they were able to help me trace its owners, who were delighted to have him back.

This is a great clinic with caring and competent veterinarians and techs who have provided compassionate care for my pet for almost 10 years. The facility is practical and bare-​bones but they pass on the savings in what they charge you for your pet’s care. I’m only familiar with the «North» clinic.

Horrible customer service. Flat out liars. They want to charge an arm and a leg and don’t even honor they’re reexamination fees. My sister took my puppy in today & My puppy had worms and literally eats more than my German shepherd so they wanted to do a $ 60 parvo test? For what? My puppy is fat and playful he just has worms? They’re ridiculous and if you call to try to talk to them they just lie about what they said or how they understood it and will literally laugh at you. It’s also ABSOLUTELY disgusting in there. The rooms literally have dirt and hair everywhere and there’s no AC. Just window units they keep off. Oh and they’ll lie to you about the medication they give to you pets and what it’s for. They charged me 80 $ for a probiotic. Oh, good thing I’m a vet tech myself and that’s actually to enhance their appetite. I have about 15 of my friends and family come here and I’m making sure they never step foot back through their doors. DO NOT COME HERE

Wonderful service. I brought my dog in for a freak accident and was treated with the utmost respect. They cared not only for my pets well being but mine as well. I cannot say enough good about this place. The staff is simply amazing!

When I first moved to Austin I took my pets here because it was close. My cat has always been kind of sickly, and it seemed like the vets here just didn’t care. It seemed like they just wanted to get you in and out. They basically told me my cat had a cough because she was cold. I took her to another place and they told me it was allergies did more to help me. Also, the vet is a womanizer and pretty much ignored me and my questions when my boyfriend went with me. I would not suggest this place to anyone.

Please don’t take your pets here! Not only are they constant calls obnoxious but they always try to guilt trip you into getting additional services when you are they. I once made the mistake of having my husband go there. He came out with over a $ 100 for just shots when a Craigslist ad showed it for $ 35. And before they comment saying the ad had to be mentioned, I did make the appointment mentioning the ad. If you don’t know any better they will overcharge you. And it’s a huge difference!!! My pets were terrified to enter the building and I’m now convinced they could read the vet better than I could. The low prices may tempt you but if you love your pets, you will find another place to go.

I have been taking my pets to Wells Branch Pet and Bird Clinic’s north location since 2009. I was initially drawn to the clinic because of the coupons in the Austin Chronicle. I had to find an alternative to the outrageous vet bills and «recommended add-​ons» for my two pets. Once I brought my elderly cat in for a visit, I was hooked as all of the staff demonstrated themselves to be caring, knowledgeable and compassionate people who never tried to up sell me. The fact that they are open 7 days a week with evening hours M-​F has been extremely helpful with my busy schedule. I highly recommend the clinic and its staff to take care of your precious babies.

I was recently contacted by social media «consultant» who tried to tell me that it was all a big mistake. Now he’s on here whining that I stopped communication with him as if I have some sort of obligation to help them fix things. I responded to private emails twice — that was plenty.
The problem this place has is that it will be difficult to «manage» and «consultant» their way out of this problem. I am not the only person who received calls and notices to bring pets in for shots that weren’t due at great health risk to pets.
At least one person I know was actually doing it and the vet gave her dog the shots– so either it wasn’t a mistake or the vet is incompetent and doesn’t read charts.
I stand by my earlier review.

Please don’t take your animals here, if you truly care.
This was once my regular vet, but I fired them a few years ago. I’d taken my cats in for vaccinations, and immediately upon returning home, one of my cats began vomiting. I called the office, and after telling the person on the phone what happened, they placed me on hold because a customer in the office «had a question about their bill.» This let me know their priorities — money over actual care. My cat is healthy and happy now, because I don’t take her here anymore. I called another vet immediately, and they advised that the shot given could cause reactions. My cat could have died, but the other vet advised me over the phone on how to handle it. The other vet who helped me was with the Austin Vet Clinic on 35.
After this, I did some research and found that the owner of Wells Branch Pet and Bird has also been formally disciplined by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, for Negligence/​Malpractice.

Beware. Took my cat in for anxiety issues and the «vet» literally left the room, came back with the physician’s desk reference, and asked me if I had any idea what some good medications might be to treat the cat. She then had the gall to ask me what I thought would be a good dosage for my cat (I explained I had no idea), wrote a prescription and sent us on our way. After 7 calls between the pharmacy, me, and the vet, it turns out she does not have prescribing rights and essentially forged a script on someone else’s pad.
This was only discovered through her supervisor receiving a call from the pharmacy and forcing her to call me and explain the situation.
Icing on the cake, I did a short web search later only to discover the dosage she eventually chose would have killed my cat.
Will not return, no matter how many chronicle ads they put out.

NEVER GOING BACK! First off, finding the place is impossible. I went there to check my dogs enlarged stomach. turned out to be an infected utaris. After finding this out the Dr. made me feel guilty for not wanting to proceed with the surgery right away. She said they could do it first thing the next day for $ 800 on top of antibiotics and the current $ 300 bill! Not making a spontaneous decision I decided to get a second opinion.
GLAD I DID!!!
Called my main vet Dr. Tartlon of Austin Avenue Animal Hospital in Georgetown and he quoted me the same surgery procedure for only $ 180 with antibiotics. Dr. Tarlton cares about animals and does these surgeries for close to nothing because hes a true animal lover.
UNLIKE Wells Brand Pet & Bird Clinic! I can only imagine how many people they have taken advantage of because of the love we have for our animals.
