Last night I ordered 2 Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers, a Caesar side salad and a baked potato with cheese and bacon. Instead I received 1 Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, a garden side salad and the baked potato had bacon but the potato appeared to be soaked in butter with no cheese. I’ve never had a Wendy’s mess up my order that bad. I looked at the receipt and that’s how they rung it up but I’m not sure if the weird baked potato was a one-off or if that’s how they also make them at this location. Anyway there location is very convenient, you probably need to pay close attention to the screen as you are ordering and check your bags after they give them to you. Also, you probably want to avoid the baked potato. They seemed friendly enough and I didn’t have to wait very long but my order was way way off.

Where is this location? Well, it is downtown on the East side of I-35 between 5th and 6th. Not so easy to touch and go off of 35 during congestion, but otherwise, yes. This Wendy’s is a drive-thru only, you can park there and go in but you may have to wrestle with the Homeless that frequently sitting on the stoop. yes, stoop. Wendy’s premium Folgers coffee is great, it beats the $ 2 Starbucks Coffee. Also, the food is really good for the price. I would stop to get coffee but I am put off seeing homeless circling the area. I just think, Iconic Austin.
