Established in 2010.

Founded by Drew Dunavan and Ali Ramzanali in Austin, TX, Werd was created to be an affordable avenue for recording artists. Since its conception and birth, Werd has expanded its capabilities of studio and live recordings, to include video production, and marketing concepts as well.

Werd is AWESOME!
I hired them to do the lighting at my company’s SXSW event, and they were great to work with every step of the process. Everything they did for us — from the mockups they created to show us what things would look like beforehand to the flawless execution on the night of the event — felt effortless and looked beautiful! Plus, all of the guys are total professionals while still being a blast to hang out with.
Our party wouldn’t have been the same without them!

So… our company has contacted Werd Recording Enterprises twice for help with equipment we needed for different types of meetings. I’ll also include that both were quite random and with very short notice. The guys at Werd Recording were GREAT! They came the night before to set everything up, tested it, then returned early the next day to re-​test to ensure that it worked when we needed it. They went above and beyond what we asked… and we’ll be sure to use them again!

We worked with Werd for our SXSW show to ensure that we were able to do high quality live recordings. We brought in a split & separate board output to mbox and recording in Logic. The recordings came out great and Joel & Drew were great to work with. Would highly recommend them.
