History

Established in 1970.

The company was founded by Bill Woolsey, a native of Austin who grew up in Tarrytown and raised his family there with wife and Austin native, April Poage Woolsey. Daughter, Laura Duggan, joined her dad in the business in 1979 and the two worked together for many years. Laura bought the company from him upon his retirement in 1992 and continues to grow the business with the same ideals and core values that anchored the company from the beginning. Knowledge, service and integrity above all else still govern each business relationship. Today, Brad Duggan serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the company and Katy Duggan partners with Laura and Gail Boston to deliver the same personal service with which the company was founded. Local Knowledge. Global Reach.

Meet the Business Owner

Laura D.

Business Owner

Laura grew up in Tarrytown in the early 1950’s. At the time, Austin was a sleepy little college town of little more than 200,000. The University of Texas and the State of Texas were the major employers. Today, Austin has more than 1.8M people. Laura attended Casis Elementary, O’Henry Jr. High, and Stephen F. Austin High School. She also attended Mt. Vernon College in Washington, DC during the Watergate yearsand delighted in attending the hearings on Capitol Hill where she worked as an intern for Congressman Jim Wright. Laura transfered to the University of Texas and received two degrees, a Bachelor of Science followed by a Master of Education. Laura married the love of her life, Brad Duggan, in 1981 and they have two grown daughters, Kerry and Katy. They live in Tarrytown one block from the pool Laura learned to swim in and where she still has many Old Austin friends. Laura loves to teach, coach and mentor real estate agents. Other joys – travel, cooking, UT sports, and the theater.
