Kim is the best cat sitter EVER! She does not punch the clock and just stop by — she sends pics via text, she lets me know how my cat is doing, she is really there for him (I mean, me?).
I feel at ease when I’m away, which is the whole point — right?

Kim Pyle is THE BEST. I found her on Unilocal when I moved to Austin about a year ago and have been hiring her to feed/​check on/​play with my cat ever since. My cat is 11, very difficult, and has moved around with me a lot, so I’ve struggled to find a reliable pet-​sitter, but Kim is it. She is a consummate professional, great with animals, always follows instructions, extremely reliable, and also very kind. She always texts me updates and photos and even leaves little thank-​you cards after her visits. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and would recommend her services to anyone needing help with a pet. Thank you, Kim!

Kim has been taking excellent care of our kitties for us for several years now. We had a very senior cat who needed medications and injections and Kim gave him perfect care. Now we have two indoor-​outdoor cats and we always know when we go out of town that they will be in very kind and capable hands. We love being able to leave them in their home environment where they’re comfortable, and Kim always keeps us up to date on what’s happening on the home front while we’re away. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful and caring sitter for our beloved kitties.

My 9 yr old senior dog needed a kind person to help her get her strength back after an injury, and Kim was very kind and gentle and protective of her when she took her for walks 3 times a week for several weeks. In the future, when I need a pet sitter, I’ll definitely be giving her a call! Thanks!

Whole Pets Austin and Kim Pyle have been completely adopted by the kitty girls Birdie and Maudie. They love Kim’s visits and always are so content and secure when we return home.
We’ve been with Kim for several years, and she has cared for The Girls many, many times for up to two weeks at a time. She keeps us updated on The Girls’ activities via texts and pictures, something that seems relatively small, but boy-​does that make a difference! Kim is also so calm and unfazed by those annoying things that seem to pop up when you’re gone-​the house alarm gone wonky, the roofer who needs emergency access late at night to check on a potential CO-​2 leak in the house… through them all, Kim has been on the spot, going out of her way to meet folks at the house, watching over repairs, and keeping us posted, always.
We know when we come home there will be a cheery note from Kim about The Girls, the mail will be neatly collected, and the garden happily watered. Kim is the kind of person you like having in your home, like that special, thoughtful friend who can be counted on to take care of things. We are all very happy to know Kim, and grateful for her loving care of The Girls.

We have been using Kim for over 2 ½ years for pet & house sitting. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is caring, kind, capable and extremely dependable. She always goes the extra mile, cleaning the house if she’s been house sitting, staying late if our plane is delayed, etc. She has good common sense when faced with unexpected situations. She communicates with us when we’re out of town just enough to set our minds at ease & let us know how things are going. I highly recommend her.

We moved to Austin in 2012, and without family or close friends in the area, it was a struggle to find someone to watch our cats when we travel. I found Whole Pets Austin (Kim) through Unilocal and have been so happy I trusted the reviews. Kim is amazing. She sets up an initial appointment in your home to talk about your pet needs, and she is super great about quick communication via email or text or phone. She is friendly and professional, and I was put at ease immediately on our first meeting. She’s watched for us on 5 separate occasions over the last year, and she always confirms before hand, follow ups with messages after each visit to our apt to let us know how our cats are doing when we are away, and is great to work with.
We were recently away on vacation and had a situation where Kim couldn’t get into our apartment because the lock was stuck. She went above and beyond, including notifiying us immediately, working with the apartment people to find a solution, and making multiple visits beyond what we had agreed to/​paid for so she could get into our place to check on our cats. Being 1,000 miles away, I was stressed but Kim took care of everything, coming to our place 3 times within 24 to try to get access. She was great through all of it to. I can’t recommend her services enough. I am a pretty demanding person when it comes to customer service and Kim exceeds my expectations.

Marisa did an AWESOME job with my two boys while I was gone for a mini-​vacay! Knowing that she was taking such good care of them helped me feel better about leaving them for a few days. It lessened the separation anxiety — both theirs AND mine! She was especially good with my recently adopted little shelter dog who has been skittish about having new people around and who I had never left overnight before. She always kept me updated by text and appreciated how sweet my boys are — just like I do ;) Thank you Marisa and Kim!

Kim has a gift for putting owners and pets at ease. She takes her job seriously and you can tell she loves making sure your «fur family» is safe. Everyday, she sent text messages and photos which was so appreciated. She responds really quickly to requests, which is perfect for last minute business trips! She even managed to get our cat to be friendly, which has never happened before. A great pet sitter and cat whisperer made for the perfect combination.

I can’t say enough positive things about Kim at Whole Pets Austin. First of all, she’s very friendly and approachable and it’s evident that she truly loves animals and takes her job seriously. My cats took to her immediately and I felt confident and comfortable going out of town knowing they were in her care. Kim kept me updated, sent me texts, and gave me updates on how they were doing. I really like and appreciate this! I had to extend my trip a day and Kim was super accommodating and agreed to make one more visit, which was great.

When my wife and I had to leave town suddenly, we needed someone to take care of our cat Wilson. Kim came to the rescue! She scheduled her first visit on short notice, sent us a text message to let us know when she was at the house, and made sure Wilson was happy and well-​fed. She even brought in the mail and made our house look lived-​in while we were gone! She’s our favorite pet-​sitter and we’ll definitely be giving her a call next time we need someone to check up on our cat.

Whole Pets Austin started caring for our three cats during a Thanksgiving trip last year. Kim did such a great job that we had her watch them again during our two week Christmas vacation. Before we found Kim, we had been boarding our cats at the vet. We would return to angry cats and a large vet bill. Since Kim has been watching them, they are much happier with us when we get home. Even our very timid calico that is afraid of everyone seems to like Kim.
I know that when we go out of town, we don’t have to worry about our cats because Kim will take great care of them. She always text messages us with updates and picks up the mail if needed. It’s a huge relief to know that our cats are happy and safe while we’re away. We would recommend Kim and Whole Pets Austin to anyone.

Kim at Whole Pets Austin is wonderful! Trust is the number one requirement for a dog walker and I completely trust Kim. She is very flexible and has on multiple occasions saved me by agreeing to walk my dog on short notice. She is also flexible in regards to payment method, which adds an extra convenience to her service. I feel that she truly loves my dog and enjoys her job. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have been using Kim for a few months now. She is amazing. She is so caring for my two cats. She leaves a diary of every visit so that when I get back from a trip I know how the two of them have been.
She obviously spends time interacting with both of my cats and treats them as though they were members of her family.
