Paid for a couple’s massage that was well worth it. The staff were professional and did a great job making us feel comfortable. Filled out a brief health questionnaire before starting. The room where the massage is given is very relaxing and serene with candles and music. They asked if there were any areas they should focus on, but overall did a full body massage that felt amazing and was very relaxing. I felt like jello when I left. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are reasonable and the quality of service is high.

I have no criticisms for this place. We paid for a couple’s massage, which was actually pretty nice, but keep in mind that this is the first place I’ve ever gotten a massage at. We were asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding any health risks or allergies, and were asked if we have any problem areas we wanted to be focused on.
The pillows and linens smelled like peppermint and lavender, and the room was dark, lit by candlelight. At 6’1 and 190 pounds, my female masseuse put a perfect amount of pressure to work out my back, neck, and arms. The fiancé also enjoyed hers, being at 5’4 120 lbs.
This place is also at a convenient location, being walking distance from the main tourist areas on the island.

The best massage I have ever had. I came in with back pain, and left pain free and relaxed. The owner was the one who worked on me. For the first time I had someone use enough pressure in the right places to make a difference. I will be back in a few weeks and will be calling for an appointment.

Danica, contacted me and apologized for our recent experience. I didn’t expect anyone to address our issues since what’s done has been done. But she contacted me several times which showed her genuineness and sincerity that our massage was not what they strive for.
They get an extra star for the manager’s proactiveness and professionalism.

I did the birthday special couples massage of $ 130 for 60 minute massage with oils. We were in the same room together. This place is awesome! Just what wasn’t man needed on our vacation. It’s the best prices deal we found! It’s tucked away near the Metropole Hotel. The room we Hs our massages in were very serene and relaxing. Lighting was great and our masseuses were both very professional. They asked us where our problem areas were and focused on them a bit more than the rest. I had a man and my bf had a woman. He said she used just enough force to rub out his knots (we both workout). I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommended others here as well. We practically fell asleep! Get so rejuvenated after

I booked a massage here and I am here waiting for someone to see me and it is empty.
I’m a massage therapist myself, and have had a few clients in the years I have been in practice blow off an appointment, but never have I had an actual therapist blow off an appointment for my massage.

Carmen was great. Excellent pressure, I like medium to firm. 90 minutes flew by because I was so relaxed and comfortable. Hot stones, yummy aromatherapy and some awesome moves I’ve never experienced– and I’ve probably had 50+ professional messages. A must for a tired body and soul.

The most rejuvenating birthday couples massage of my life!!! Not only was it in a very cute canopy on the roof but there was also the most serene spiritual music. I loved that I was able to meditate while getting an hour long massage!

Came with my best friend for a «couples massage» on my birthday. Found them through our hotel and there prices were much more reasonable then the other places on the island. When we and were were pleasantly surprised to see a $ 50 dollar decrease in price (from 180 to 130) for there birthday special. They therapists were great. A little rough at times but were good to listen when to soften. The set up is 2 small rooms with a curtain and they open the curtain for the couples massage. Because it was my best friend and not my husband it was fine. But I would’ve liked the tables closer together if I was truly there with my husband. All together it was a great experience and I would recommend them any day.

My husband and I had a 60 minute couples massage for $ 120. The price was more than fair compared to other places in town and the spa on the cruise ship.
There is no real waiting room just a little patio area.
The room was comfortable and we both really enjoyed our massages. It seems like there are some mixed reviews, but we got lucky as our experience was great!

Ramona is an intuitive and responsive massage therapist. People who write reviews and complain about the level of pressure — or anything else… should have spoken up during the massage and requested more or less. Every «body» is different. Massage therapists aren’t mind readers — the customer has a responsibility to ask for what they want — not to wine about later. Ramona asked multiple times if the pressure was appropriate — and I have no problem asking for a lighter touch in some areas — and deeper in others. I had two one hour massages with Ramona in one week — and am grateful for both. The birthday special was $ 60 for one hour. I tipped her $ 20 for each massage. She EARNED it! I highly recommend!

My wife and I stopped in for a couples massage on our little Catalina getaway. The ladies were nice and friendly, but for what we payed ($ 150), we were disappointed. This was my first «paid» or «professional» massage so I don’t have any other professional services to compare it to, but I’ve had other massages before. The whole thing was VERY rushed. On the form I filled out beforehand I said I wanted something «relaxing». When the lady was doing my neck, it felt like I was on a roller coaster or something. Had a great time @ Catalina, but next time we will go somewhere else for a massage.

AAAHHHHH-​MAZING!!! While staying at Hotel Metropole during the off season I made an appointment at A Touch of Heaven Day Spa located in the same building as the hotel. I got an awesome deal ~ $ 100 for a 45 minute massage and 45 minute facial (normally this package is $ 130). The experience was very relaxing and I would highly recommend this spa to anyone staying on the island.

They normally charge $ 240 for the 90 minute couple’s massage. We were able to get the special for $ 200, which is a great deal as it comes down to $ 100 /​person for 90 minutes.
The massage was great. They worked me pretty well and had me feeling almost like Jello by the time they were done. My wife fell asleep and thought it was great as well.
If there was a 4.5, I’d give this place a 4.5, but I can’t, so it’s a 4 for me because I can’t bring myself to give it a 5. They spaced the massage tables too far apart, so I felt like I was getting my own massage instead of a couple’s massage. Their setup is really two rooms, but for couples, they open up the partition. It is not as intimate as other day spas I’ve been to with my loved one. Other than that, it was a great massage, and I recommend this place.

This place was great. Worth every bit of the reasonable pricing.
I have never had such an intense massage before in my life. These fine ladies had me feeling like Jello, in a good way, for 48 hours. They really know how to get to the tender spots and work them out.
We got some sort of couples’ package that included several options. It was a two hour experience. The facial was great. My first time and it wasn’t too girly for me, though I was initially concerned about this. ;) To be fair I believe I received the «gentleman’s facial,» which is a nice way of saying the same facial that women get.
Plus you can’t beat the convenience of it being simply downstairs if you are staying at Hotel Metropole. It is located under the glass elevator that looks out on the courtyard. It is hidden, and tranquil.
