Before I perfected the curry sauce recipe at home (light mayo, curry powder, yellow mustard and water), I used to come here every now and then.
Today a regular chop is $ 6.19, and the chicken seems dried out (not juicy). Staff less friendly too. This was my backup when I was surprised to find out Gastropod had suddenly closed. Next time I’ll have a better «plan B».

Poor service, the staff don’t want to make eye contact until THEY are ready to serve you. Many times they told me they did not have pita bread to make certain items they sell but I saw they had it, very strange, won’t go back again.

I have tried to eat there several times this past month, the problem is that if you go in the afternoon pass three or four o’clock they never have rotisserie chicken. Management is not helpful at all either, I just hope Aventura mall management notices the type of customer treatment that they are giving here, and kicks that restaurant out if the mall. Make room for something better.

Many times on the weekend we will make an afternoon movie and my husband will ask me— where do you want to have lunch? I always answer with «my favorite place». He knows right away that it is CHICKEN KITCHEN. There are a lot of choices in the food court and we have tried many of them and have seen them come and go, but not this one, the lines just keep on getting longer. That must mean something or someone is doing something right. I love the cop chop with the salad on top of it. It is oh so good. Enjoy!!!

Nothing special about this place at all.
It’s seemed like the healthliest thing in the food court, so I tried it. The service sucked and the entire staff was pretty unfriendly. But yeah I get it, it’s fast food court dining. Besides the service the food was nothing special. My wrap was craply thrown together and it fell apart when I was eating it. You even have to ask for a fork. I’d try your luck somewhere else to be honest.

There are many choices in the Food Court of Aventura Mall, but one of my favorites to visit occasionally is Chicken Kitchen.
When I am at the mall and decide on the food court and visit Chicken Kitchen on that day, I usually order one of the Chop Chops for a meal. My favorite is the Mexican Chop Chop (rice, black beans, chicken, shredded cheese and lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream. I usually get mine with brown rice and a side of jalapenos for a little kick.
There are many items to choose from on their menu, and staff is nice and helpful, and always making sure there are no huge lines to wait in.
