All the stylist are good, not great but do try hard and are super polite. The front desk is not always the nicest but the 4 stars are for the stylist. I have never had a bad interaction. Not all blowouts are the same but if you want consistency in your blow out, plan ahead and schedule with the same person! Good place to go for an affordable blowout.

I concur with JoAnn L… same email but I had recently purchased a 10 pack & had only used TWO!!! I called a day or two after receiving the email for some type of refund… No way was this mom of 2 gonna make it down to Aventura from boca for a blow out! BUT I never received a call back. I called again in Oct & I’m still waiting for the courtesy of an actual conversation with someone other than a receptionist!!! The wonderful owner at Faces365 offered me 2 free blow outs as a courtesy (& great PR;) hearing how SoBlo never contacted me.
In a nut shell… SoBlo BLOWS!!!
PS it’s killing me to even give the ownership the respect of 1 star but Lo always gave a great blow out. (If on Lo’s performance, she’d get 5 stars!)

This place is a ripoff! They lie and say that every hair type is $ 35 for a blowout. Their website specifically says «From Simple To Sexy, Every Blowdry Is $ 35
Thick hair, thin hair, straight or curly, and we shampoo you too.
Extensions — additional charge of $ 10». We took our daughter there five times. The first 4 times, it was $ 35, plus a very nice tip because the stylist did work hard. The last time we took her, they charged her an extra $ 10. They said it’s because it took over an hour. Well it always takes over an hour, and it was never an issue before. And it’s not the customer’s fault that they are slow. The front desk people are idiots, every time. They don’t have ANY customer service skills whatsoever. The one time I requested someone named «dana» based on a recommendation, Dana walked up to my daughter and then pawned her off on someone else because she didn’t want to work hard. Anyway, the owners were no help. They refunded us the cost of the last visit, but it was like pulling teeth. They refuse to admit their mistakes and apparently at SOBLO Aventura, there customer is never right. No Thanks, Never Again.

Walked in and was greeted and taken care of immediately. Very clean and cozy place. Extremely accommodating and professional gals. got my unruly mess in perfect beautiful hairdo. I am definitely coming back

Imagine my disappointment when I received an email at 3:08 am yesterday morning informing me that the Boca Raton Salon would close, permanently, that same day. I had called the salon the week before asking questions about hours of operation and if my gift card would expire. I was not informed, or warned. I have requested a refund because Aventura is too far away for me to use their services. The purpose of getting the gift card, for my birthday last year, was for convenience. I expect a refund for the amount left on my gift card.

My favorite Blow dry salon in south Florida. Everyone does a great job, I am very picky and honest. I have been with Cynthia, Dania and a couple other girls. No complaints and the place is always clean and I love their products. You can easily book online through the Unilocal app too!

Today I had the pleasure of having Amanda do my hair and she’s simply amazing! I’m very pleased to have had two great hair experiences back to back!

Walked in for a blow out yesterday, there wasn’t an available slot but they rescheduled me for an hour later. (and even called to let me know that the stylist was available before the new time).
The place the very clean and the products they use smell amazing.
I have thick shoulder length hair and I was out of there in an hour. I was very very surprised Cynthia did an AMAZING job.
It was only $ 35 for a wash, blow dry and flat iron. My hair is light and not heavy with products. Happy customer.

This place does not respect customer loyalty at all. I used to come here once a week for a blow out… Last time I made an appointment I was running late, I called to tell them I would be about 10 minutes late. The girl on the phone was nasty and rude and told me if I don’t get there on time they’d give away my spot. Optimistic that they would be understanding due to my loyalty I still showed up (15 minutes late), and sure enough they had given away my appointment; but it wouldn’t be right to say they gave it away. I walk in, the salon is almost empty, only 1 chair busy… The woman assigned to style my hair is sitting around, and then receptionist was just as rude in person as on the phone. To make matters worse, the receptionist was new (as they usually are; this place goes through receptionists quicker than anywhere else) and didn’t have a grasp on how to treat a loyal customer. It’s disappointing to see a place with such potential be run down by there disposable receptionists who don’t know how to treat customers (especially in an establishment such as this one which is supposed to be a relaxing setting). Since that last encounter a couple months ago I have not been back… You do the math, once a week every week is a lot of income brought in by Ike customer that they will not be receiving any more because of their poor service. Go to Elle Air in Bal Harbor instead if you’re looking for a blow out, it’s a little out of the way but the service is amazing and the stylists are very talented.

Four of us came in to get our hair done. Receptionist was incredibly friendly and sweet. Place is clean and spacious. But the hair! Eek! They have one job. Blow dry. They don’t do cuts, no color, just blow dry. Yet they can’t seem to do that at all! I wish I knew the name of the woman who did my hair. She didn’t speak English. She completely fried my hair. All of the ends look horrible now. Not only that, she took FOREVER. Back home, it takes my hair stylist 20 – 30 minutes. This woman took an hour and 20 minutes. Ridiculous. And then it looked awful. I could have done a better job. All of us were dissatisfied with our hair. If you’re going to have a blow dry salon, make sure the staff can actually blow dry! No idea how this place is in business.

You can. I either walk in or schedule an appointment. Cynthia is my goto stylist of choice. She is talented, simpatica, friendly, popular and delivers what you want. Also offers sound advice. I always walk out happy and satisfied. All the staff is friendly from the receptionist on through
Salon offers wine, water, refreshments and champagne while you get pampered and styled. Massage shampoos are tension reducing.
I purchased the 10 pack since the salon does a better job than I can ever do or have the time to. About to purchase my next 10 pack of blow drys.

I made an appointment to get my hair done at SoBlo for my law school’s annual Barristers Ball (aka prom with legal booze) because it was near the venue for the event.
They have different styles to choose from and seem to follow the same business model and pricing as other blow dry/​styling salons in South Florida.
I felt like the lady that did my hair rushed it a bit. I asked her if she thought maybe we could pin the curls since my event was still about 2 – 3 hours from my appointment time. I explained that I planned on going back to the hotel after my hair was done to do my makeup and get dressed and could take the curls out there. She dismissed my suggestion and said «no, it will be fine». By the time I got to the event, my curls had fallen a bit, but my hair still looked good. I was just a bit bummed that I was so quickly shot down when I was a paying customer that wanted fresh, bouncy curls when I got to the event.
Also, there was a woman toward the back that was selling jewelry. I wasn’t a fan. She didn’t come up to me and give a pitch during my appointment, but I think her even being there changed the vibe for me– especially when I compare it to salons like Blo or BDry.
So, where did this place score points with me? Even though my stylist wasn’t super friendly and didn’t listen to me, the owner made sure to come by my chair and talk to me and I saw her talking to other ladies as well. Also, the woman at the front desk where I paid was very friendly and approachable.
If I needed some hair therapy in this area again, this probably is the best place to do it. I can’t think of another blow dry salon in North Dade. Next time, I can only hope that I get someone to style me that is invested in my salon experience (like SoBlo’s owner and receptionist).

I cannot write the service of this establishment, but I can say that they employ some unscrupulous business practices. I work in real estate, and while I was working with a buyer one day I got a phone call. I answered it professionally and someone said «This is Jessica, can I have your email address please?», to which I replied «Why do you need it?». She first started to hem and haw and then answered that she was looking to sell her property, and it was just easier for her to email me. I smelled BS, but I figured I would ride it out for a potential sale. The next day I called Jessica back at SoBlo, and asked her about selling her place. She said that she still had not gotten around to emailing me about it. The next day, I started to get spam email to my business email account (the same one I gave to Jessica) from SoBlo, but nothing from Jessica about selling her place (you figured that out by now, didn’t you?). I find it pathetic and bad business to call someone while they are working and lie to them to get their email address. Now, not only will tell my wife not to go there, I will share this story with many other people. Get your leads and email addresses in an honest manner, or else how can your clients trust the honesty of everything else you do?!? Bad business move! I write reviews!

Simple. No appointment needed. Walk in, wait to be called, get shampooed, blow-​dried, leave looking fabulous and only about $ 40 poorer. Very nice operation!

I went there for the first time yesterday & I loved it!!! I have extremely curly hair and they blew it out and flat ironed it. With the humidity it usually gets frizzy but not this time!!! definitely going back!!! Cyn was the girl who did my hair & it was an absolutely fantastic experience!

I have been to Soblo 3 times and I loved my hair every single time! I always ask for a lot of volume and they deliver it. I always get compliments on my hair and the style will stay for a number of days. I will be going back for sure! One thing to remember if you do decide to go is bring cash to tip.
