The UPS Store

terrible location in promenade shops of aventura, very rude staff (what little of it they have). they are always under staffed and the wait times are forever, EVERY SINGLE TIME. they don’t even acknowledge you standing there, Harriet or whatever her name is was horribly rude. no samples or knowledge of the printing stuff that they are selling. they lose packages all the time! owners do not care either. avoid this place at all costs! Never again.

Always feel rushed here.

I hate UPS for dropping my package off here just bc I was not at home. This place always has a long line and only 1 person working. They need to stop being so cheap and hire more people. Then why do people get here and act like they don’t know how to ship a package? This place is terrible.

I had a terrible experience with this store and its owners. I dropped off a package for the delivery next day and when it didn’t arrive I called the store and was told that UPS lost it and a trace was placed. Then miraculously it was found and delivered three days after dropping it off. The customer required a discount for the late arrival and I went back into the store explaining this and was told I would get a full refund on shipping by UPS and a check would be forthcoming within a week. After a week and no check I called the store and again was told by the owner it was being sent from UPS and to wait and see. I then called UPS and was told, first, that since this is a franchise store the refund comes from the store and not UPS and next I was told and have a copy of the pickup from the store showing it wasn’t lost by UPS but not given to UPS for two days. Instead of just being honest and telling me they made a mistake, they lied and kept lying about it.
I then went into the store after speaking with UPS and was treated like I was in the wrong and told that the people at UPS lied to me, except when I asked to see their master manifest they told me they don’t have such a thing. I got angry and left before I lost my cool completely. i then came back and called the corporate headquarters for franchises stores in San Diego and found that everything the owners of this store told me was in fact a lie. The package didn’t leave the day it was supposed to and UPS did not lose the item, then locate it and the refund is in fact supposed to come from the franchise store and not UPS. The headquarters is sending me the refund check along with the discount I had to afford my client. They were very easy to deal with and incredibly apologetic for the behavior of the owners at this location. All they had to do was be honest with me and I would of been fully understanding, but now they lost me and every single person and can tell as customers.

Super convenient bc its around the corner from me but everytime i go theres a long line and 2 ppl working there on the phone. Yes they are answering the phone for customers but i think there should be someone in the back answerkng thr phone and 2 ppl upfront working with walk in customers. Unorganized and takes longer than it should

Not sure if what the lady behind the counter was saying was true but I think she saw the numbers wrong. I wanted to ship a package valued at $ 1600 and charge the receiver. She said she couldn’t do it with their account. I would have to pay upfront, I never had this problem before. So I took my package to take it somewhere else and she came after me grabbing the package and explaining that she wants me to understand and at that point I felt like she was attacking me. The lady is crazy! Young brunette with no name tag, scared me right out of the store…

My review is only based on their (supposed) notary service. I called twice on a Sunday to check the notary was in because I had to notarize a document on this day. First I was told the notary would not arrive until 1:30. Although she was supposed to stay until closing time, she left nearly an hour early. The girl at the store –trying to be helpful– called the notary who said she *might* return but could not commit. My lone star is a reflection of their lack of reliability and professionalism.

I was considering this mail boxes etc. but they don’t have hours on Saturdays.

I can’t agree with Jewel more. Coming to this location is a pleasure. The family is wonderful and has the kindest energy. They are truly a pleasure to work with. They have always gone out of their way to make their customers happy and satisfied. Their souls are truly inspiring and I also always leave with my job done perfectly and a smile.

My boyfriend has a post office box for his business here, and has asked me to stop in an pick up his mail occasionally. The first few times I didn’t have his PO box number, jus his name, but the owner knew it by heart. After confirming that I was an authorized recipient, he had the mail in my hands within seconds.
The family that runs this Mail Boxes Etc is so sweet, kind, and professional you have to take a moment and step back to appreciate it. The girl that runs the desk is so sweet and kind, she makes me want to go out and smile at someone. The friendliness and warmth that this family exudes is inspiring. Through the two years that I have been coming here, they have been unwaveringly professional, competent, and above all; happy. They really care about their customers and always put a smile on my face.
This location is secure, convenient, and well maintained. It is always clean, the staff is competent and friendly, and their prices are fair. They handle all of our international and domestic needs, and our mail is available for pick up ²⁴⁄₇. They offer every type of mailing service; weighing, packaging, and shipping.
I can’t say enough good things.
