Sr – 60 Pomona Freeway – Moreno Valley Freeway

The quality of this freeway is pretty damn terrible. Potholes, fading lines, trash, you name it. However, it’s one of the quickest ways to get from the inland empire to LA. This is also the large truck route for carriers and freighters. So be careful when driving on this freeway because not all of these truck drivers drive safely. Some exits use left and right lanes so know where you’re going!

The 60 freeway is the 10 freeway’s red headed stepchild cousin. You can’t blame it for making fun of the other freeway. After all, it moves as fast as the Lakers play defense, but as with the Lakers (in the 2012 season) even when it moves, it really seems to have no particular direction.
At least with 10 freeway, it goes in a relatively straight line. Take a look at a map — the 60 takes this gigantic curve for pretty much no reason. Unfortunately, the crappy sometimes carpool lane will not bail you out. At pretty much any random time you will hit random traffic going to some random place. So — if like me — you have relatives or friends (I’m not saying they aren’t necessarily the same, but then again…) in La Puente, San Gabriel, Rosemead and err, um… yah…be ready to sit in traffic. At least you will pass by random landmarks like, err, um…

Wow so you want to drive down the sic’ty do ya? haha NO, but you can parking lot it! Unless you are headed Eastbound in the AM and Westbound in the PM this place is one of So Calis best parking lots.
The conditions on the road are honestly not that good. There are a number of potholes (albeit some have been fixed).
There is a car pool lane the entire length of this fwy just about. There are no flyovers for the car pool lanes.
However this is a super important fwy here in so cal traveling east to west.
